Another very short read, just what I needed.

This one is a very low stake MC romance, with insta sweet love and with decent writing style. Still OTT in many places (my favourite: smooching sweetly while having a dead body in the room - actually occurs twice 😅😅), but it's a novella so I get the short cuts.

A Page Turner Age Gap MC Read

Breaker is the President of the Death Seekers MC and his club is about to form an alliance with a rival club to take down the cartel that are threatening both of their territories. With the beautiful but struggling bartender, Riley, she might just be the catalyst to bring this shaky alliance to an end. Breaker is all about protecting the woman he has fallen for but she has dues to pay to the Black Vipers MC to pay for her brother’s mistakes.

Even though a quick read I got a lot from this book that made it a big pager turner for me. Loved it and want to read more on the Death Seekers MC.

Breaker is the first book in the Death Seekers MC series by Winter Sloane. This book is a great start to the new series. It has a touch of everything all wrapped up in an MC world of danger, betrayal, suspense, family, loss, and passion. Riley Greyson and her brother Rob lost their parents when she was eighteen years old. Since they she has worked hard to stay afloat and also support her brother, who fell into addiction and the seedy world it inhabits. She works as a bartender at a local, and not upscale, bar with the regulars. One night a new face appears at the bar, attached to a big, built and sexy biker. At closing time he sticks around a bit and she makes sure he gets a ride home safely, also learning his name is Ben Quinn and getting his digits. When Riley gets to her apartment that night she finds another biker, but on that is dangerous and who tells her Rob owes them money and it is now her debt. it turns out that Ben is about to become her saviour when she finds herself in over her head. At the same time there is a rival MC and the cartel moving in. Riley will soon find out just how Breaker got his name and what lengths he will go to too ensure she is safe and protected, after all he is going to make her his old lady once things get sorted out.

This is my first book for this author and I really liked it. I love a good MC romance that’s not too long fluffy but not way too dark. This one has a good balance.

The story had quite a bit of drama and action with a sprinkling of sweetness and steam. It was definitely a page turner!

I loved the MMC. He was what you’d expect of an MC president, but once he met the FMC, he opened up hit heart to her, softening just a little bit. The FMC was a smidge naive (and at a couple points I thought to myself, “really???”), but she was good for the MMC. I’m glad she wasn’t the typical barely 18 virgin from most MC series I’ve read.

It’s a quickly but a goody; I definitely recommend!

I love MC romance and Breaker had so much potential! It was a good story but felt like it was missing a lot of depth, especially in regards to the characters. I love to fall in love with every character I read about, but just couldn't without more character and world building. This story started out great, but then moved way to fast. There was a lot of action going on that fell short on all the details that would have made a good story great.

I would have loved to read this as a dual POV book. A BIG problem for me was the fact that this book was told from multiple POVs constantly changing. The flip-flopping led to the over usage of the characters names, especially Breaker which seems to be used every other sentence and became repetitive early on.

Overall, I liked the story and just wish there was more to love.

A young female bartender & an older biker connect in a bar over grief. They both are dealing with grief in their own way and share what they are grieving about. They share a spontaneous kiss under the night sky, then Ben Quinn (better known as Breaker, MC President of the Death Seekers) leaves in a taxi to go home. A taxi that Riley, our young bartender called on his behalf. This is the intro to Breaker by Winter Sloane. It is a quick & spicy read - Winter provides backstories of Riley & Breaker. There is some drama, some family drama, some MC conflict and of course sex. Riley is in danger with a rival MC - Black Vipers. Breaker is I'm a tentative alliance with the Black Vipers to combat a rival cartel. Will Breaker risk everything for Riley? You will have to read to find out!

Breaker was the man. He was sweet and caring to someone before Riley and took all that love he had left and gave it to her. He was pretty swoon worthy. Riley was pretty cool. She wasn't this shy and scared girl. She stayed strong and really cared for her brother. The plot was good for a short story. It kept me entertained. The spice level was 1.5/5.

The story started out with great potential, pretty good with the development of Riley and Breaker’s characters. Seemed to be off to a really good start. However, it then was rushed from scene to scene. The relationship was pushed forward like fast forwarding through a movie. A few mix ups in the details, some parts short on them all together.

Enjoyed it all the same; with the idea that the bones for a great story were there and the heart was felt throughout. Just wish the author would have taken a little more time working the story to its true potential. Felt like we got a 15 minutes preview of a great movie.

There is a brief, chance meeting between Riley and Breaker, the president of a MC and there is an instant connection however they part ways before anything develops. Then Riley gets roped into working for a different MC to pay off her brother's debt, and Breaker comes across her again when he meets the rival MC to enter into an uneasy alliance against the Cartel. There are twists and turns and threats at every corner.

This was a quick read for a MC book at around 83 pages, however it was really enjoyable, still packed in good content, and it is always nice to mix quick and longer reads.

Looking forward to more books in this series.

Second Chance Love Romance

Breaker didn’t kiss many women but he did kiss Riley the night they met. When she needed his help, he stepped up and was there for her. Unfortunately things were not always as easy as they seemed, he’ll help her and her brother but betrayal was just around the corner.

A second chance at love for him with Riley but first he needed to protect her and deal with the problems happening with another club.

A fun insta-love read with lots of feel good moments and a swoon-worthy HEA.

This is an instalove MC romance where a widowed biker president, Breaker, falls for the cute bartender, Riley, after he comes to the bar for a drink on his late wife's death anniversary. Riley is in trouble with a rival biker club after her brother falls into debt with the president over drugs. Breaker takes her in and makes her his responsibility after he finds her working for the rival gang in their bar. They fall fast and hard for each other almost instantly. The book is somewhat predictable, but good.

Riley is caught between a rock and a hard place... loving a brother that is nothing but trouble and keeping herself safe. Breaker is in grief.. from the dead of his wife. Meeting by coincidence leads to healing, love, and a life they both need and seek.

I love how Winter Sloane writes about MCs with the truth of who they are, but like an onion as you pull back the layers, you realize there is more there..and that is Breaker. Breaker is a man with a weight on his shoulders, but with Riley, the load is lighter, and he feels love and can act according to his essence as a protector.

Breaker is Ben (aka Breaker) and Rileys story. The President of the Death Seekers MC and the Bartender have one thing in common when Breaker enters the var Riley works at, grief. Each of them, in their own are grieving a loss and at least temporarily (so they think) they find solace in each other. Of course we all know things are never that easy so there also drama and danger but they don't let that stop them. They can't seem to let go of each other so facing these hurdles head on is their only option.

Wow, I loved this novel! From the first chapter I was sucked into this novel and I didn't want to put it down. This novel was so action packed and kept me guessing what was coming next. I loved both of the main characters. Both Breaker and Riley were both dealing with grief and bonded over that. I loved their chemistry. I love when a novel keeps me guessing, can almost bring me to tears and finally leaves me with a happy heart. I loved it! I can't wait to see what is coming next from this author.

Winter Sloan keeps the adrenaline pumping with action and danger while Breaker and Riley grow their relationship. This is an insta love/lust novella with plenty of steam and damsel in distress vibes. Breaker’s past heartbreak leaves him open to the sweet touch of Riley. Her protectiveness of her brother puts her in the path of a rival MC. Winter’s dialogue conveys the emotions and caring that this couple has for each other. I loved their HEA!.

Breaker needed a drink to commiserate on the anniversary of his wife's death and the bar wax where he met, Riley, the sweet bartender. He quickly finds out that she owes money to a rival MC due to her brother's addiction but he couldn't let her go. This was a quick story. They fell in love fast and things got resolved just as fast.

This is a quick and spicy MC romance. Riley and Breaker meet at the bar she works in and find that they both suffer grief from loss of loved ones. This initial connection rapidly grows into so much more for these two. There is action, drama, both family and otherwise, MC conflict and, of course, steamy romance to keep you glued to your reader. This was a great series opener and I'm looking forward to the next book :D

Breaker and Riley will keep you glued to all the twists and turns this story takes. She is a bartender that meets Breaker when she informs customers of the last call before closing. Their kiss will start their journey. When Riley's brother's debts are called and he can't pay them places Riley in danger and Breaker comes to handle them. Will he be able to get her out of the trouble created by her brother.

Riley and Breaker meet in a bar on a rough night. They bond over sad tales and an amazing kiss. There is a lot happening in this short story. Danger, loss, resignation, determination, enemies, family, and passion. The storyline was okay, but didn't flow well in spots. I liked the characters overall. 3.5

But after a kiss they will go all the way for each other. There is drama and betrayal but they still finds happiness I volunteered to read this for my honest opinion

This is a good book. It has enough grit to the story that it's not a cheesy Insta love.

Both main characters are dealing with their own situations. Once they meet, the story picks up and moves pretty fast.

Loved reading Breaker. Awesome start to this new series Death Seekers MC by Winter Sloane. Action packed and the chemistry between Riley and Breaker was super HOT. I can’t wait for the next book to come out in this series!!
