Contains Book One and Two of a Hero's Knack Series
Book A Knack for Being a Hero In a world where everyone has a superpower, his was being a geek.
Cue was perfectly happy working as a tech super in the dingy basement of Seattle's Superhero Office. Or at least he was until he got mixed up with a machine that could increase superpowers, foreign agents, and a fire-wielding gang of criminals. Now he's dodging fireballs and using his power to change old tech into something that can keep him alive.
Luckily, he has a knack for being a hero.
Book A knack for Trouble All Cue wanted was to design tech in the basement of Seattle's Superhero headquarters and maybe watch some classic sci-fi with his new telepathic girlfriend, Cogs.
Unfortunately, an old flame needs help, and he must strap on his gear and go to the rescue. This time he'll bring his neurotic robot buddy, Caan, along for backup.
It would be easy if it weren't for the drunk teleporter, beast-shifters, a Vegas crime lord, and tangling with a foreign super soldier.
Despite his wishes otherwise, it seems that Cue has a Knack for trouble.
Wow, could have been great. The continuous dropping of pop culture references became unbearable. The story had promise but the MC had too much dues ex for my liking.
