“She laughed, and the sound was like bells, beautiful, clear, and sweet, just like her presence in his heart.”
Olivia is a total computer whiz who is struggling with infertility. After she hacks into her fertility clinic for her latest results, which are unfortunately negative, she stumbles upon information about Midsummer and makes certain she is chosen into the surrogate program. Stark has been hired to beef up security at Midsummer after the attack in Naomi and Gage’s story. As a perk of his position, he has been offered a surrogate. He had a staid childhood on a farm with almost all work and no love. People see him as cold and stern. But they would be wrong. He just needs the right woman to love. Olivia recognizes Stark as she had previously hacked into one of his security systems on the request of the system’s owner to be certain the system was fool proof. What will he do once the truth comes to life and the nearby town becomes endangered??
Midsummer’s world is so beautifully described- I want a cabin with a waterfall of my own!! Throughout this series the recurring characters enrich the stories and the emotional connection between Olivia and Stark really resonates. What changes are in store for Oberon and Midsummer? Can’t wait for the next book!!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Tasha Black's Alien Surrogate Agency books are beautiful stories of hope, joy, beauty, love, and so much more. The premise of giving women battling infertility a chance at motherhood is beautiful in this off planet/alien series.
Olivia is a wonderful main character. She's a brilliant hacker who works for a virtual security team to help others ensure there are no holes in their systems. She excels at her chosen career and truly loves it. Sadly, Olivia is very lonely and longs to start a family, but on her Terran planet, a female must have a child via IVF before she can date or marry to ensure the maternal lineage. It's a crazy rule to me, but one that works very well on her home planet. Olivia hacks her private fertility clinic to find out if her fourth IVF treatment was successful. She is devastated that it was not. While snooping, she finds a very secure file, which she hacks and finds out about a secret off-world Fertility Center. With a plan in place, she sets out to be selected for the center.
Stark is a good man, a rags to riches, with loss and trauma mixed in from his time as a Maltaffian warrior/soldier. He's a bit set in his ways & kind of grumpy, but we are able to see how truly lonely and wounded he is through the story. Stark designs "next level security systems" and is the "owner of the biggest security firm in the sector." His current project is for the Midsummer Fertility Center, and as a bonus from the center, he is matched with Olivia to be his surrogate and have the baby he longs for.
There is so much more to their story, but I can't give it away. I am going to leave you with things to think about (I can't help myself): Oberon (Olivia has been fascinated with the AI for years and working on a secret project involving him); Titania (read the book); the special Bonus Epilogue (simply amazing) and so much more.
I love this series, this book and completely adore Oberon. You can't go wrong with these books.
A wonderful read, Stark a horned alien is trying to father a child with a Terran girl and start his own family Olivia Sinclair is a desperately lonely woman on Terra 58 when she decides that her infertility has left her with no other alternative but to visit a fertility clinic but unfortunately, she has used all of her savings. When she hears of a fertility program that will possibly allow her to carry a child for a needy Alien father and this in turn will then enable her then once again after she receives the payment swill be able to try again and become pregnant. She arrives at the planet and is surprised to meet the prospective father of her baby who is a handsome horned alien by the name of Stark Rawling. She finds herself drawn to the prospective father and as they spend time together, they soon discover that they are becoming more attractive to each other. When he is involved with the surrogate as part of the contract to design new security for them, he doesn’t expect to be as drawn to the Terran Surrogate as he is but this has become extremely apparent that his heart knows no bounds when it comes down to the delightful Olivia who is herself desperate to have a child of her own which is the reason for this decision. I guarantee that you will love every moment of this wonderful book and I guarantee that you will love every moment of this amazing book, the previous books have been wonderful reads and I guarantee that you will be blown away by the characters and the story in this book. I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all their wonderful writing.
This book was an entertaining quick read. It has just enough romance and steam, an engaging and fun storyline, and interesting character development. I’m a huge fan of Oberon and his matchmaking efforts.
This quote sums up Stark Rawlings, ‘It was hard to believe the fierce green warrior with the massive horns was secretly as snuggly as a kitten.’ He’s a gruff and serious warrior who built up a massive security company, but who wants to be a father. His company won a contract to provide security for the Midsummer Fertility Clinic and all he can see from his perspective is locking everything thing up tight under tight security protocols.
Olivia is a cybersecurity expert, a Terran woman who wants to a baby, but has experienced several failed fertility rounds. She’s intrigued by the AI that runs Midsummer Fertility Clinic and works on a plan to accomplish two goals: having a baby and meeting the AI.
I loved how each character brings one perspective, but that the happiest ending can only be achieved if they learn and work together.

Olivia: Alien Surrogate Agency #6 by Tasha Black 5 stars posted 3/22/24 (hospital) Stark & Olivia
She wanted her own child and a family. Unfortunately, in her world, women had to have a baby to prove they could have a baby and be allowed to do it naturally. That's right first would be using a fertilization implant. Unfortunately, it wasn't working and she was running out of funds. Learning about the well-kept secret surrogate program on another planet might be her only chance. There was an added benefit you'll need to read to discover.
He was in charge of security for the Agency. The same one he planned to use to fulfill his desire for a child. His work wasn't going as well as he hoped. Yet they'd found a match for him. She was pretty and smart, and there was just something about her. What he would find out later.
The story is very different. She has more to bring than a womb. Professionally, she is a surprise. More surprises, more answers. You'll love watching them develop a relationship, steam and so much more. Ms. Black always delivers.
Another out of this world story to go with an already amazing collection! I love the Alien Surrogate Agency stories and this one did not disappoint. From the second I started reading I was hooked. Olivia had my heart breaking when she recalled all of her failed attempts at conceiving. I was rooting for her happily ever after and she hadn't even met Stark yet. I also loved the part where she is a computer genius and was able to hold her own when it came down to it. Seeing Stark bring down his walls was also a favorite part of mine. He is a no nonsense military man, but the moment he meets Olivia she starts to crack his hard exterior and gets him to experience real happiness. Of course there is drama and suspense mixed in with some serious chemistry. Oberon continues to be one of my favorite characters and seeing him evolve over time makes every book that much better. A must read book for sure!- By Alisa
'Olivia' is a very well written and entertaining story, with great characters all around, including the AI Oberon. I enjoyed the romance and steam, as well as some action partway through. Olivia and Stark fit so well together; he works in security, and is providing the security for the Midsummer Fertility Center, and she is a hacker who finds holes in systems so they can be fixed. They are attracted to each other from the beginning, although they have an issue in their shared past that they need to address. While I really like the center's staff, I love Oberon and his romantic sensibilities, which contribute to some of the humour and the feelings in the book. All in all, another wonderful story by Tasha Black. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Perfection! Olivia, a terran, really wants a baby but hasn’t had any luck at the clinic. They put in the special surrogate program as a last resort. Stark, a Maltaffian, is the CEO of a security company and wants a baby of his own and as a perk of doing the security for the program, he gets a surrogate match. There is an instant connection and attaction between the two, but will it last when he finds out who she is? I love that Olivia is an intelligent woman who seems find joy in pretty much everything and Stark is an ex-military man which makes him protective but his memories of that time also make him a bit stern and cold. It has all the feels that I love in a story, which I find happens in all of Tasha Blacks books. I highly recommend this story. Really, I would recommend any book by Tasha. I loved this story and I’m ready for the next one!
There are some books that you love because they are so overwhelmingly emotional, some because they provide all of your needed dopamine hits in the form of romantic comedy, then there are books that you love because they're fun, lighthearted, totally unrealistic but have that core of commonality that everyone looks for. This book is like that. Sure, it's not great literature but it did leave me feeling good, and if a sci-fi romance can do that, when I'm not a sci-fi fan, then it deserves 5*. This book flowed well from start to finish, is well written and provided a good storyline with strong characters that weren't always human, and had a very satisfying HEA. Honourable mention to an AI that is seemingly more human than some people I've met, and I have no problem giving this book 5*.
Olivia was a computer geek who desperately wanted and needed to have a baby. She had exhausted not only her money but her patience at the fertility clinic. But finding out about another, off planet option, was just the perk this computer hacker needed. Stark was in charge of security for the island that housed the Midsommer Fertility Clinic. This maltafian "used" the clinic's services to have a child of his own. But both Olivia and Stark came in with preconceived ideas about the other....and Oberon played a big part in their interactions.....Can their pasts be overlooked and overcome, to make a love connection, and perhaps a family? Fabulous book in the Alien Surrogate Agency series. Kudos Tasha Black!
This is my new favorite for this very entertaining series, there was just a little more umph to it. 😍 The romantic elements are heart melting and her surrogate situation touches the heart. They have to iron out a few things but that was interesting, detailed and intense which kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. Great for all who appreciate romance with substance, heartfelt emotions and the sweet happiness of falling in love. I received a free advanced copy and voluntarily chose to leave this review.
Stark, a single military Alien, wants a child so he enters into an expensive agreement for a Terran, earth woman to be his surrogate. Olivia has always wanted a child, for years, in fact although she has been artificially inseminated three times none took. She has found a way to get herself a child that she craves so much. Surrogacy. Olivia is taken to a specialised hospital community that includes an amazing Ai, Oberon where she meets Stark. Great story full of characters that please the heart and excitement and intrigue.
Amazing, I love this series!!! I swear each one gets better. I really enjoyed this read. The characters were great, love smart women, and the whole grumpy/sunshine works. I recommend everyone to get the epilogue too. This is a fast-paced, shorter read, but there is so much packed into it. Such amazing world building, and seeing the glimpse beyond the AI was cool, as always lover Oberon Loved the ending!!
I received an ARC of this book, all opinions and thoughts are my own.
Unexpected in the best way possible! When I first read the blurb, I sort of knew what to expect. A romantic, steamy read about an Alien MMC and a human FMC. Color me surprised! Yes, it was the expected story, and yet, very different from the norm is the most delightful way. This is a short, sweet and steamy story, that manages to also bring the unexpected in the most fabulous way. Highly recommended.
this alien sci fi romance leans heavily into a hologram simulation atmosphere. Salacious bedroom scenes that somehow aren't really spicy, converge with extremely improbable details. The conception circumstances and pregnancy duration are laughable, unless maybe you're a true trekkie, and then much more willing to stretch reality. it was kind of diverting but not memorable. the whole thing was about a deep as a star trek simulation
I loved the characters and their strong personalities. The storyline was interesting and different. The author incorporated the love story with futuristic aspects beautifully. There was a wonderful happy ending as well. The author told the story beautifully, and I look forward to reading more of Tasha Black's work. The romantic scenes were tastefully handled and no shocking language was needed to convey this story. A great success!
I loved this book. Oberon is the AI in charge of the fertility clinic and has been successful in many matches. Now he has to work with a security head and a hacker. And a need for security. Interesting developments. Bravo once again!
I received a free copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This series just keeps getting better and better with each book IMO!!! Stark is a grumpy alien wanting to have a family. Olivia is a sweet sunshiny Terran girl that has infertility issues that just wants a family also. So she is perfect for this program. When she sees Stark, the big horned alien, she is immediately enamored. Stark doesn’t expect to be drawn to the surrogate either. Oberon is up to his antics with matchmaking again.
I utterly adore this series, and this is another amazing entry in it. I thought that there was just that something that little bit extra about Olivia and Stark and their romance that made all the feels that more potent, the emotions that much more intense and the sweetness all the more heart melting.
I adore this series, and this is another amazing entry in it. I believe each one gets better. The characters were great too. This is a fast-paced, short read, but there is so much packed into it. I can't wait to read more from this author. I received this book as a free ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
I really enjoyed this story. Olivia and Stark are a great pair. Grumpy-sunshine, hacker-security expert, romantic-practical, they're just a great match for each other. I also loved reading Oberon's storyline in here. I can't tell if this will be the final book in the Alien Surrogate Agency, but if so, it was a great one. My thanks to the author.
This sweet story grows smoothly right from the start! The characters are well crafted and relatable even though one is an obvious alien. It's a kind of opposites attract and secret matchmaker trope but it works! The characters have enough in common to make you really want good things for them and the story was over way before I was ready for it to be!
This story was so much more than I expected, and went in so many unexpected different directions. I like the fact that things happened positively after many years, in some cases, of planning and work and hopeful expectations. Very highly recommend.
I think this was my favorite book so far in the series. Well done Tasha Black. You gave us a love story with past history and a bright future. I loved that the town is now part of the story. It makes things seem a little less clinical. I will definitely recommend this to my friends.
I loved how Tasha sent this book out of this world. I was so engaged I couldn't stop reading it. Olivia's a surrogate, and cyber security expery. She's always wanted a child. Grumpy Stark, is also a security expert. I adored the Incredible Oberon as he creates a fantastic love fest for these two individuals who needed it so badly. Great world building included. Thanks Tasha.
I loved the storyline, all of the characters, the danger, and Oberon being tested in new ways. Those new ways include showing how the simulations were formed. Most of all I loved Tasha Black’s writing style! It keeps me coming back for more. My thanks to the author for Olivia. I read straight through without stopping!
I just finished the whole series. They are not super short but they are quick easy reads. In my opinion the main character is the computer, Oberon. He is super intelligent and always making things better. Otherwise, the main characters are perfect for each other and the storyline flows so well from beginning to the end. Loved the whole series.
Sadly, this book is full of typos. I'm not sure what happened to the author's proofreader. It is quite distracting.
The storyline is fantastic, though rushed. The characters are well thought out, but their arcs are rushed. It's like the story was cut Dien to fit a certain number of words/ length ... at the expense of the story.
