2.5 stars but rounding up to 3.
This book had so much potential. Unfortunately, it didn't feel well put together to me, with much of it feeling rushed through. I am usually one for multiple POVs however I didn't like it in this book because there was no character build-up. The concept of the story was a good, however the delivery was not. It just made the story seem weird.

I received this book courtesy of Goodreads, as part of a giveaway.

I really wanted to like this book more but it didn’t have the grab I hoped for. I enjoyed the ending, and it gave me the spine shivers as I imagined it play out.

I thought the premise was great- Everyone has secrets. Everyone has sins. YES!!!
Sarah Graham is murdered and her sister, Sammie Graham collects secrets. Sammie Graham collects grudges. OK, You’ve got my attention!!!

I’ll try not to spill too much… the overview eludes to the killer being identified and disappearing. Interesting way to prescribe justice, I wanted to see where that went. And I did, but once you got into the book it felt rushed surrounded by hmmm?!?

There were aspects (the marital rights) that felt over used and a few chapters where I just didn’t know where it was going or why things were being introduced because they were not circled back to.
In the end, I didn’t really feel Sammie was the true Grudge Keeper. She was just a product of her environment, one in a line of grudge keepers.

I really appreciate the author B. L. Norris and Good Reads for facilitating the opportunity to read and review this book, thank you! This review is solely my opinion after reading the book, The Grudge Keeper.

This had me feeling uncomfortable while I was reading but ultimately satisfied with the ending. 3 stars because the ghost details seemed a little sporadic and unfinished - like why wait 7 years? Also what makes the ghost able to come back in better shape some times versus others?

I never want authors to hold back by any means and fully expect for there to be gruesome scenarios with this genre, but I do wish there was a trigger warning for the sexual assault.

This was a book I won through the giveaways facilitated by Goodreads. Thank you to the author and Goodreads.

I, like a lot of other reviewers, was hoping for a bit more consistency throughout the story. I do think that the premise was cool, but the whole thing with the guy in the barn didn't need to be its own plotline. Ike did nothing to further the story at all and nothing happened between him and Sarah so it just felt unnecessary. The rest was pretty good.

Scattered and predictable

This book jumps from character to character and is often hard to follow who point of view you are hearing from. The story only has a few developed characters which makes it easy to pinpoint what happened.
