I love the calendar overview in the middle! You can view a certain week's/month's moonphases, the sign the moon will be in, energies etc. In one glance.

However I bought the book mainly for the different essays on folklore, practices and traditions. What Ive found is that the essays provided do not necessarily correspond with the elements they are listed as. Furthermore, some essays contain closed practices or do not fit the theme of "practical magick for everyday living", for example setting up a pagan festival or the practice of temazcales. Due to the different subjects this book tries to encompass in very few pages, all the essays are quite surface level.

Personally, I give this book 3 stars as it did provide me inspiration, especially when it comes to the elements of earth and air, through for example crochet or standing stones. If you like different subjects to then later deep dive in, while also having a calendar and almanac in the middle, this book is for you!

Found it hard to get through at some point, but overall exactly what to expect in the annual almanac.
