I was so ready for another Alfie and Sebastian adventure and Schwartz really delivered with this one! We return to Nott Haven to find Alfie eagerly anticipating a much-needed vacation from the paranormal. He and Sebastian have settled into a comfortable life together, but their new-found rhythm is quickly interrupted when the vampiric leader of the Crimson Bat Society demands an audience. Alfie and Sebastian soon find themselves thrust into the middle of another murder mystery that they have no choice but to solve. Though this second installment in the Nott Haven series is a bit cozier than the first, I adore the chemistry between the two main characters and am eager for more. Fingers crossed that we'll get a third installment!

Book 2 is even better than the last. Dez Schwartz interweaves supernatural worlds so wonderfully. As usual, this book was hard to put down with its fast paced action, quirky characters you can't help but love, scene setting descriptions, and plenty of steamy romance. I'm in love with Nott Haven and can't wait for this story to continue!
