A TRUE Polymath and Can Connect Dots No One Else Even Sees

Whether you love him or love to hate on him, David Wilcock is – in my opinion – one of the very VERY few original researchers, thinkers and over all genius polymaths out there today. Not like what I refer to as ‘regurgitators (of which there are MANY),’ Wilcock has a way of taking widely divergent and disparate pieces of data, recognizing what connects them, putting them all together and extrapolating a narrative that is mind-blowing...and logical. While I wouldn’t say that I agree with everything Wilcock says, I do agree with much of it, either because I’ve already done the research myself (I’m about 20 years older than Wilcock and so have probably come across quite a bit of what he’s unearthed over the last 20 or so years) or because I’ve recognized how the various separate pieces of data DO fit together based on his research coupled with my own and that of still others.

And before the ‘DW haters’ start ragging on the ‘fact’ that there isn’t as much info in this book on anything other than the Great Pyramid Timeline, Dreams and prophecy fulfillment, remember to note the name of the book: AWAKENING IN THE DREAM. While I, personally, would have liked more information on dreams, if you’re looking for more science info (there is some here, but it’s comparatively minimal) or other data, then – if you haven’t already done so – it’s time to read his other books: The Ascension Mysteries, The Synchronicity Key and The Source Field Investigations. And if that’s still not enough Wilcock for you, check out his website, Divine Cosmos dot com, where you can find not only his blog, but his numerous FREE books going back to, I believe, the late 90s. And if that’s STILL not enough for you, check out his Ascension Mystery School which now has three separate schools under its collective belt. Or even his two GAIA television series Wisdom Teachings as well as Cosmic Disclosure, not to mention his numerous appearances on Ancient Aliens.

Additionally, if you’re not already aware of it, an individual at the Association for Research and Enlightenment – the Sleeping Prophet, Edgar Cayce’s organization – suggested to David nearly 20 years ago that he was likely the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce based on the similarities of their astrological natal charts as well as other highly significant similarities. Although many are skeptical of this connection, I can attest as an astrologer, that I have compared both Edgar Cayce’s and David Wilcock’s astrological natal charts, and I agree with the findings of the original astrologer who compared their natal charts and found that there were some uncanny similarities that are highly suggestive of the probability that David truly IS the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce. Does this prove that Wilcock is the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce? No, not necessarily. But between the almost identical similarities of their natal charts as well as the uncanny resemblance of the individuals in David’s current life who uncannily resemble individuals in Edgar Cayce’s life (not to mention a young Wilcock’s uncanny resemblance to a young Cayce!), it’s extremely difficult to dismiss all these similarities.

And one last point I thought worth noting in regard to reincarnation in my own life as it pertains to David: a little over 30 years ago – long before I’d ever heard of David Wilcock – I began experiencing ‘spontaneous’ memories of several of my past lifetimes. One of those lifetimes was as a female student studying under Pythagoras. And while many don’t believe that Pythagoras taught women, I disagree. In fact, I’m not the only person who’s had a past life memory of being a female and studying under Pythagoras. The reason this is significant to and for me is that I have been ‘studying under/with’ David Wilcock since the late 90s. And, of course, as you’ll find out, one of David’s past lives is… well, you’ll have to read the book to find out.

PS: If he upsets people, it’s typically because what he’s saying is true. Just saying...

I didn’t realize this was some sort of a self grandeurising biography, I’m really deeply into the metaphysical but this was just painful to read, with little interesting information interspersed between thousands of “Me, my and I’s”
It’s basically autofellatio in book form.
The author says he’s an alien soul(starseed), but also a high priest from Atlantis, the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce, and a great spiritual leader who will lead the masses (I think at one point he compared himself to Jesus)
The rest of the book is spent on complaining about how he had to work minimum wage jobs, crying about having to make reservations while working the front desk at a hotel and whining how it was so unfair since he’s so clearly special.
The only thing of interest for me in this book was the Pyramid Timeline, but I took it with a grain of salt since the theory didn’t seem to account for the fact that we lost 7 years when switching to the Gregorian calendar, in effect throwing all the timeline dates off.

OMG, this book was horrible!!! He spends so much time talking about himself that you loose site of what the book is even about. His books are expensive, don't waste your money. Plenty of other books out there from other authors on the same type of material that actually talk about the interesting subjects and not all about themselves.

My awakening In coincidence

I had no idea that any of this was happening. I have been incredible pain for the last 20 years, barely hanging onto life. I was reading science fiction, looking up a word that led me to you tube. The secret space program popped up. What is this? I now have read your books, joined accelerating ascension classes, have your Web sites loaded including Corey Goode and many more. I have donated. My health is slowly improving. All in the last 6 months. My wife admonishes me for watching conspiracy theories because she hates President Trump. Main stream media has her locked in but I am free. Thank you.

I've always been fascinated with lucid dreaming and I find David Wilcock's work to be interesting. This was very much similar in style to the previous book I have read of his - The Ascension Mysteries - and this one didn't disappoint. In fact, I would assert this book was better than Ascension Mysteries.

It was stylistically similar in the notion that both of them are written almost entirely in memoir form. However, and this is why I give this book a four-star rating, Wilcock presents himself as bring rather cocky and slightly conceited. I will admit I did roll my eyes when he believed himself to be a reincarnation of a dead, popular spiritual leader. However, who am I to say that isn't true and Wilcock is completely full of himself?

At the end of the day, just be nice. Wilcock makes this point quite a bit throughout the book and ensures he penultimately ends with that point. The best ascension, the best awakening one can have, is to just be nice. Be empathetic, compassionate, and kind to all people, even if they irk you, are cocky and conceited, or are difficult to handle.

‘David Wilcock appears regularly on history channel’s show “ancient aliens”.’ Well that should tell you enough about this man and his book. Not to mention the ending author’s note where he predicted coronavirus. “2010, which is only one digit away from 2020: 20 minus 1 is 19. The deep state’s apparent agenda for potentially releasing germs like this is the combat overpopulation”. Sir, please touch some grass. He then writes: ‘scoff at, sounds roughly like ‘covid’” you poor crazy man.

So many red flags appear with this book. “Work of nonfiction” its about him telepathically talking to aliens…

“Alternative science” aka he wasn’t smart enough to get a degree in real science.

“500 references and angelic sources” over 70% of them are from “law of one .com” Pathetic, the book is just a love letter to it.

This book is just the ramblings of a conman looking for money and fame. I want to say he’s probably, maybe, trying to get people to be kind to one another. Page 155 quotes “I do feel that we all need to stop fighting and killing one another over such basic differences in opinion.” Not a very original thought but hey.

Penguin used to publish well thought out and carefully crafted books, now it slaps “non-fiction“ on a 500 page book about a man trying to interpret his dreams and declaring he can see the future after the fact.

One of the best books I have ever read !!!! When I was reading this book I started experiencing a lot of synchronicity‘s happening in my life. The fact that I randomly found this book on the shelf and picked it up was also a synchronicity, but I didn’t realize that at the time. I’ve always been very interested in my dreams since I was a kid, I always remembered my dreams except for the times I was using drugs and alcohol. Since reading this book, I’ve started connecting with my dreams again and even documenting them. this book has help me understand my dreams in the present, and also dreams that I can still remember from when I was a kid, I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in understanding your dreams, UFOs, ancient pyramids, and the law of one. At times I was reading the book I had tremendous feelings of energy running through my body. This book really resonated with me and it came to me at the perfect time in my life, I would highly recommend it to everyone and also I suggest that you read it with an open heart and an open mind. ❤️

The introduction feels as if I am reading about my own childhood.
I skimmed a lot the rest as it talked a lot about what I knew and less about dreams... I might revisit it if bored for the part of the visiting beings... the whole book turned into a big messiah complex POV after starting a bit more humbled... yea. not for me. I think this is the last chance I give to one of his books. After The Source Field and Synchronicity is the key, I feel the rest is just rewording his main ideas for continued sales...

If like me you know Wilcock, Goode and others are controlled opposition frauds and are being used to steer newly awakened people in a certain direction, but Wilcock's books are nonetheless a guilty pleasure with some useful information, you may be disappointed all the same by this latest effort. I have read works of his like The Ascension Mysteries, The Sourcefield Investigations, and The Synchronicity Key, and each despite the untrustworthy biographical/personal accounts as well as subtle deceptions/propaganda is well sourced and explores many suppressed aspects of our reality. This book however is perhaps his worst and most redundant yet. Throughout the whole text I kept asking myself, haven't I read this shit before? Because he not only repeats information and accounts from past works of his but compliments it with almost no new ideas or concepts; if you've read his other stuff you've already read this, really. It didn't even serve the guilty pleasure role for me, it was just useless and boring. Enjoy!

Words are not enough to fully and properly describe the genius of this amazing author/scientist David Wilcock. The accuracy of all his presentations going to the deepest details many times and for anyone's understanding is priceless and not many out there can compete with such profound works of art where he has already delivered to the world so so much from such a young age to date (only 50 yo...wowww... mind-blowing)... and those nasty ones who cannot help biting his butt... better go do some work on yourselves as it's too obvious from your very low level (probably never past the 2nd dimension) you cannot be aware of anything even close to David's level... food for thought. Guaranteed everyone reading and watching David Wilcock's work certainly grows into a much better person... this is the best $$ spent buying such books of this highest calibre level author/scientist. Thank you so much David!!! You mean so so much for humanity. God Belss!!!

The First Aquarian Is Awake!

David Wilcock is one the welcomers to the age of Aquarius. He shows how we can open our consciousness in order to receive the abundance of awareness this age is pouring down on us. His wonderful insights are gifts that are offered freely to all who are willing to work on the spiritual half of their beings. David is showing us a path to a higher dimension. It is a great time to get to know who we truly are, for we have new universal energy pouring in the help our ascension. And all we have to do is TAKE NO THOUGHT. Don't let personal, ego, thoughts distort the original vibrations from source, just quiet the mind and receive.

A must read to get full scope of what is happening in the world now as well as offering hope

David travels a great deal of his journey on this planet which wasn't easy, but spiritual journeys usually aren't. It's a lot of hard and arduous work. I'm thankful for him introducing me to the Law of One years ago, at the same time it was great for him to give thorough explanation as to it's meaning as it's not easy reading it own your own. I have always had a fascination with the pyramids of Egypt, fascinating to find it was time capsule of information. Thanks David

David Wilcock will utterly amaze you with his spiritual/prophetic secrets. Not only does he tell how his own dreams have been prophetic, but he goes deep into the timeline which was given us as the largest pyramid of Giza was built. The pyramid timeline prophecies each of the major events of the world and also foretells when planet earth's ascension will occur. He adds how the information given us in The Law of One book series ties into and substantiates this data. Thank you so much for your amazing work, David!

Recommended reading for those who want to know more.

Continuing the Source Field Investigations, this book reveals the story behind the author. Although it appears as a short history of his life, the meaning may go a lot deeper.

Conclusion up front: David Wilcock identifies himself as the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce. Even though the Association for Research and Enlightenment apparently disagrees with his assessment Wilcock obviously believes it, and I have no reason to think he is lying. It's just good to know that if you consider Wilcock to be your teacher, you should probably become familiar with the Cayce readings as well.

In analyzing this book I have to divide it up into two parts, and I'm not sure which was the foremost intent. The frame narrative is that this is an autobiography, taking Wilcock from his earliest childhood, his development of psychic powers and research into extraterrestrials. Interspersed throughout this narrative are some really insightful explanations about his fields of study, apparently at random when he became aware of them. Some of these subjects include UFOs, the secret government, sacred geometry, and the Egyptian pyramid. Although these informative chapters can drag on a little more than necessary, they are the real meat of the book.

Wilcock also goes into a lot of detail about his friends and relationships, but mostly about the dreams he is having. I tolerate his dream analysis because that seems to be the point of his book, that he is teaching people how to analyze their own dreams, by example. Eventually he begins transcribing actual messages that come to him, and pointing out how his dreams and messages were prophetic. The wording of the dream messages can't really be used to predict anything, but can be interpreted to verify that events WERE predicted after they happened, so his insistence that he can prove the original date of the messages is kind of a moot point. He hasn't demonstrated to me that dream analysis is really useful for anything, but he seems to love talking about himself. This has shown me what to avoid if I ever write my own book on this subject - I think the book would be better if he described more of his findings and less of his process. I'm told that some of his previous books are even more self-involved, so I am not particularly drawn to reading them.

I bought this book right when it was released and it took me most of 2020 to read it, not because it wasn’t excellent material, deeply researched, and super interesting, but because David has a tendency to be EXTREMELY verbose in presenting anything with lots and lots of story-telling that goes into far more detail than I was willing to invest my time into. I stuck with it long-winded tomb because he really does have so much to offer here and I’ve learned a lot from him over the past few years. But was really glad when I was FINALLY finished.
I highlight a lot of it to reference later and wouldn’t mind reading some of his reference books. I would have like to see far more on dream interpretation though, which was early in the book and only a small part of this book.
I got so much out of David’s book “The Synchronicity Key” that was life-changing for me because it confirmed everything I’ve been experiencing in my own life but had no context for. “Awakening In The Dream” takes that to the next level.

I always love a book that challenges me and encourages me to contemplate things I wouldn't have otherwise. This book definitely did that. I do think the title is misleading. I initially picked the book up because I thought it would center around lucid dreaming, out-of-body experiences, and remote viewing. And it does, to an extent, but I certainly wasn't prepared for the massive chunk of Great Pyramid history and analysis I encountered. It was fascinating, initially. I was hooked. But it dragged on and on, man. Although I won't read this book again, it gave me the kick in the butt I needed to finally order a copy of The Law of One, which I've been meaning to do for years. So I'm glad I picked it up and will definitely read more by Wilcock.

Whilst I have a great interest in what David Wilcock has to say, in this book, he spends an unnecessary amount of time trying to convince the reader 1) of his information 2) of his background to substantiate that information. From his accounts I can see why he feels he needs to but surely by now given his huge following he no longer needs to justify his knowledge or information and and can just focus on conveying what he knows. I would say 1/4 of the book is interesting, the rest is a lot of unnecessary rambling, I almost thought I would not finish this book!

Some of Wilcock's conclusions feel like a reach, many feel right on. A couple of the chapters - the specifics of the interior of the Great Pyramid - challenged my will to go on slogging (Egyptology is not my bag), but they're essential for some deeper-thinkers than I.

I've come to understand that the value is not always in reading and agreeing with every word. The worth lies in the degree to which reading stretches my imagination, and Awakening in the Dream does that in a big way. Wilcock is a fresh thinker and a good writer.

Open Mind

I enjoyed the personal nature of this book. I read it with an open mind because I know that David can throw out some challenging ideas at times. He did a good job of tracing the synchronisities that propelled him along in his journey. I have experienced many such synchronicities myself and this book reminds me to pay closer attention to these and be more intentional in my own search for guidance from my higher self.

A story is worth reading.

We always think of dreams as a fat away thought but as I read this book I learn to appreciate the connection I need to have with my dreams as I write them. It is a new practise for me thank you David for sharing your life experiences . They have changed the way I remember/ Pay attention to my dreams.

This review is difficult. I love David and his ideas but this book was really hard to digest. I basically skipped many complete chapters. The book is like an autobiography of his "dreams" and "predictions" and that's fine, but I wasn't expecting this. I only give one of five starts becuase I think I enjoyed 1/5 of the book.
