First I´m going to tell you the resume of the story. After that I´m going to tell what I thought about the story.
In the story Wilma didn't participate. The story is about vikings. An adventure they had, they landed in a boat that didn't have wind. Then the vikings saw them and they didn't like to see them. In the village they frightened some people that were going to attack them using the lantern.
I thought the story was very good. I thought Chip was afraid when they arrived at the adventure. There were part of the story that were funny. The end of the story was funny because they brought a viking shield and went they came it was mini viking shield. The teacher said it wasn't a real viking shield and Biff smiled to Wilf.
It´s a very good stroy for children.

Viking adventure is a historical fiction book and is written by Roderick Hunt and illustrated by Alex Brychta and is a fantastic book for children up to key stage 2 onwards. The book is consisted of big and bold pictures, and provides basic information on Vikings. There are four main characters in this book: Wilf, Biff, Kipper and Chip, who were all intrigued by the Viking project. The story did not hand any wicked or manipulative characters. This book can help children with their imaginative skills and can enhance their thinking skills. Teachers can use this book as a part of their history lesson, when teaching a topic on Vikings. Moreover, since the book is based on Viking’s magical adventures, it can therefore be used to sustain children’s interest in history lessons.
The story contains words, which can help children with their literacy and decoding skills. The writing of the book is in bold and stands out. In my opinion, this is a magical adventurous book for young and older children and is full of exciting moments.
