Achei interessante a resolução deste arco. Gostei da parte final da história. Já quero ler a próxima edição.

Meh. The conclusion doesn't live up to the standards set by the stories in the previous issues. Leaves too many unanswered questions in its wake.

Anyway, time for some speculation! Was it Thessaly towards the end (the barmaid)? She seemed to have been wearing the same necklace as the one Morpheus' ex-flame gifted Nuala.

"None of you were brought here. Each of you was travelling, and was caught in an un-seasonable storm of some kind. You made your way here by luck, and took refuge and advantage of the hospitality offered.

This is a fitting conclusion to the arc, not quite as good as the preceding story but there is enough content, angst and it leaves you wondering and wanting more, which is a mark of good writing. Questions unanswered at present include: Whose funeral is it? Did Charlene make the right decision? Will we see more of Petrefax, there are so many stories that can be told of his new adventures? Is the innkeeper actually The Goddess Kali from Indian Mythology?

Very happy to come back to the mainstream plots surrounding Dream and his family members. Listened to the audio-experience Audible Act 3 which encompasses Volumes 7-8 (Brief Lives and Worlds' End)[1], the Sandman Special #1, and other short stories from Vertigo: Winter's Edge #1 & #3 and Vertigo Preview #1.

Looking forward to more backstories and "day in the lives" for other family members such as Desire, and Despair as we've seen with Dream and Death.

Der sich schließende Rahmen wartet mit den besten Bildern des Story Arcs auf, kann mich erzählerisch aber einfach nicht überzeugen. Es ist nicht viel mehr als eine nette Überlegung, die hier ganz unterschiedliche Welten und Geschichten zusammenhalten soll. Am Ende bleibt es mehr eine Collage ohne besonderen Mehrwert in der Kombination.

This is the finale to an interesting mix of stories (some really good, others a bit more average - Ramadan being my favourite!) from the previous issues. Really liked how Gaiman tied the knots here.
