I browsed more than I actually read this book. It is a little bit farther towards the Christian/Inspirational end of the spectrum for my tastes but I found it to be helpful anyway. I had to create a new shelf for it as it didn't fit very well on my existing shelves. I even thought about sending a copy to a friend or purchasing some of the other titles in the series. I will use this book again.
It is almost like a trivia collection, or a collection of quotes. Some of the material I am familiar with from other sources. With sections on success, friendship, family life, family fun, and wisdom, to name a few, this book is filled with short bites of information. And that is how I usually like my inspiration and advice..short, to the point, and useful.

This is an awesome book with all kinds of lists from marriage, parenting, resume writing, interview skills, how to be a long distance grandparent, how to be successful, etc. Definately a book to keep out on the shelf so you can just grab it and read something quick.

Lovely little book. I've used a couple of the lists as sermon illustrations.

Very relaxed way to spend a Sunday morning. I got through these compiled lists with a cuppa and noted those that stood out to me. Some weren’t as relevant to my journey but I could still sift some pearls of wisdom even from those.

I could tell that this book was published a while ago in the 1990’s from various works as some of this information in todays society would cause a kerfuffle due to more liberal views. However I am definitely more of a traditionalist at heart so even though some lists made me cringe a bit, I could still empathize.

Lists covering topics of
Success
Friendship
Virtue
Life’s Transitions
Marriage
Home
Health
Contentment
Standing strong
Family fun
Family life
Family values
Family love
Wisdom

Book of easy read lists with ideas to live by regarding family, values, relationships…etc. Picked the book up at a thrift shop but actually enjoyed going through the list with some surprise insights and inspiration. The last two chapters spoke to early parenting advice and insights which didn’t fit for me, but some were good to read and remember 😊

I may not have been able to relate to every list in here, but it was a very inspiring book filled with lists about wisdom, family, and love. There is practically a list for everything. I definitely recommend buying this book if your looking for advice or just if you love lists like I do!

The first few sections were great, but the last half of the book of lists had much more religious tones that I didn't care for.

Timeless truths are contained within, with 200 lists of words of wisdom, motivation, and inspiration.
I look at it as a reference book of really awesome lists of success, friendship, virtue, marriage, home, health, contentment, love and family.

Great healthy mentality to go by. Does a great job deciphering what it necessary versus what what is not in life. Made me look at my habits in my daily schedule more closely and see what I was doing wrong. Real eye-opener!

I just found this book again. A coworker gave it to me when I graduated with my bachelor's degree. It's pretty cute and definitely useful as a graduation/life-changing event gift.

I love lists - so thought it was great. This is starting to get a little out dated though with some of the lists.
