Morning coffee is an eye-opener
Team Sport - Training Camp is the third book in the Houston Hornets series. The story of Nicole continues as she finds herself attracted to more men than she thought she could be at once. This book picks up where the previous book ends, and finds Nicole in the kitchen surrounded by a group of men after her night out. One of those men is Rex, who she hooked up with in the bathroom at the club the night before. Another man is Jake, the man who took her home and cooked for her, and then let her sleep in his bed, along with some toe curling inner bad girl fun just a few minutes ago. So things are about to get complicated for Nicole as she quickly discovers not any of the men is upset or freaked out. But she needs to go as she needs to get to the stadium for an orientation meeting with her new boss before she starts work on Monday morning. Well you just know that everyone's life is about to get complicated for Nicole and each of the men, as there are attractions between them that may not be able to be denied.

Team Sport by Kandi Lane (writing as Britney Bell) is a spicy, dramatic continuation in the Houston Hornets reverse-harem world. Nicole finds herself entangled with multiple men at once (Rex, Jake, and more), and the emotional and romantic stakes climb fast.
What worked for me: the chemistry is electric, the tension between multiple connections keeps you eagerly turning pages, and the workplace/football setting adds flair. The author does well balancing multiple relationships without completely losing track of the characters.
What fell a little flat: because so much romantic drama is going on, some plot and character motivations get short shrift. A few turns feel more driven by desire than by believable build. I also wished for deeper emotional grounding in moments of conflict.
Verdict: a heat-soaked, entertaining read for fans of reverse harem and workplace romance. Not perfect, but very fun, and I’ll be back for Book 4.

Team Sport, by Kandi Lane, is Book 3 of the Training Camp Series, and a continuation of the two previous novels in this incredible saga. There are no words to describe how hot and exciting this series has become! I am hanging on by a mere thread, ONCE AGAIN, as I eagerly await the publication of the next novel, Book 4. Ms. Lane is using methods that amount to sheer torture of the reader anticipating the events to come in this sizzling tale, and I truly do not know how much longer I can hold on….!! OMG get this novel NOW!!

This is a very short and quick read. It is the third book in the "Training Camp" steamy series. They need to be read in order. Her boyfriend, who cheated on her, has called her boring, and then broke up with her. Now she is about to have one fun and steamy adventure. This, like the prior ones, ends in a cliffhanger and let's see what happens next. This series is about Nikki and some hot professional football players who she is drawn to. She has Rex and Jake but now we get introduced to Shawn. WOW! I look forward to seeing shat happens next.

Kandi Lane's Team Sport is book 3 in the Houston Hornet series. Each book is a standalone. Reading each of the books in order is almost like one big book. I appreciate that even if you had not read any of the other books, this one makes sense. I enjoyed the continuation of the story of how Nicole met her harem. I cannot wait to see how the next book is in the series. This is a short novella that can be read in one sitting. This story had my attention from the first page.

I've been really enjoying this series so far, but feel like this one was lacking slightly compared to the others.
While I enjoyed the way Nicole found out the guys were on the team she now works for, along with her steamy office introduction with Shawn, I just feel it was missing something.
It's definitely still worth reading if you've read the others, just to keep the series going.

Nicki goes to orientation for her new job and then meets the team only to discover her guys there. Her shock is humorous. She later begins to define the rules of sharing two of the guys-getting more comfortable with it. We get insight into her job and how good she is at it. This story takes us deeper into her interactions with the guys and they don’t disappoint. Fun read. The characters are amazing.
