Tate Collins has betrayed United Earth for the last time. Noah and Kayan’s crew are on a mission to bring him to justice. All they must do is find him and defeat the betrayer’s stolen fleet of living warships and the most advanced drone swarm in UE history.
Or so they believe when they begin the hunt. Unfortunately, the Seer are making their move and are determined to control Noah through the five powerful devices bound to his mind and body. His freedom and his life are on the line, but so is the fate of three galaxies.
One mistake, and Earth’s population will be enslaved as battle cyborgs for the Seer’s endless wars of conquest.
The only chance for Noah and his friends is to save the first leviathan, uncover the secret technology of the Jykeen, and break the will of the Seer overlords.
None of them are prepared to see the Nexus Gates open, but when they do, Earth will be either fall or rise to rival the Gavant Reach.
“The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior, even if that is not a perfect calculation.”
“Each of them brought talent, toughness, and knowledge to every mission.” It came to me, suddenly, while I was reading United Nexus #6, how proud I felt of Kayan’s multi-species crew, just like the human, Noah, the MC. I know it may sound ridiculous, embarrassing even, but I’m not ashamed of these feelings for fictional characters. Au contraire, that a book is capable of making me feel, shows me how good an author is, how realistic, vivid and creative is the storyline, themselves writing with feelings to make the story real, three dimensional.
“Sure, I can fight and sneak around, but shouldn’t there be something more out there?”
“Who wants to be tricked and controlled like my brothers and sisters, after all. No, I have decided I don’t need that kind of toxicity in my life.”
Love this series! Great characters and humour, often finding myself laughing out loud! A must read series if you like adventure, tech and good plots with great characters running around in it!
“United Nexus (Homeworld Lost Book 6)” continues its spiral downward into a dull, lifeless, word salad of a man-child protagonist who is soft at every turn. A muddled and banal waste of this reader’s time.
Having read almost everything Mr. Chaney and friends have written. I am still impressed with their writing style. This is a very fun read.As intense as it gets it has so many funny parts that will make you bust out in loud laughter. Enjoy the ride.
Scratch is truly one of my favorite characters! He’s loyal and brave to those he cares about, especially Noah. He really gets a chance to be involved in this nook in a very canine way. It’s awesome. Lol. Noah finally finds out more about the Seer devices he Carrie’s and what he may or may not be able to do spit them. Pya is a center focus in this book & trying to save her, along with stopping the Seer invasion. Az is in this one too. I just love his quirkiness and his somewhat of a crush on Kayan. Again, this is one of my favorite series and authors. The characters are always well developed, always action packed and stuffed with bantering humor, which is totally my jam! The writing is quality and well vetted, which I appreciate. These qualities are a win win in my book and keeps me coming back, not only to this series, but their others as well.
Noah and his misfits are struggling to fit a more advanced race of Seers bent on the subjugation and possible of the galaxy ! They have temporary yet shaky truces with “the enemy of my enemy” to try and defeat an unimaginable colossal invasion fleet. The life a the last few free Living Starships hangs on the outcome. It’s David facing thousands of Goliaths. It’s not looking good!
If you are a Star Trek, Star Wars or other similar SyFy story lines, you should love this series. The creative twists and turns keep the reader guessing. The character development is outstanding. Humor is always something I look for in a good read and this series kept me laughing. The characters became my friends along the way and I will really miss them when I finish the series. Fortunately I still have more books to go!
Great book! Noah and team have many challenges against the Seer, the seemingly all powerful masters of all universes. How they come through is the story. While Noah tries to shield his friends from risks, they will never abandon him. Their help, sometimes despite his best efforts, is key to his success. Oh, Noah accumulates new friends along the way who prove crucial to saving Noah and the galaxies! Enjoyed this book and look forward to future adventures with Kayan and her crew.
Great Story Progression, A Lot Happening But It Was Enjoyable
I like how things are successively getting crazier but just barely not falling off the rails. Increasingly more complex and interesting without going too overboard. Great growth from the early books by all the characters. A couple of small things that felt out of place/unresolved but nothing too noticeable.
Just when you think you may understand what's going on... ...things get complicated. More amazing adventures with our rag tag bunch of heroes. Can Noah ever be free of the Seer devices? Can Pya, first of the living starship, be rescued? Will Scratch ever stop licking his -er - privates? Come along, and see!
So many things happening here. Fast paced action. Friends dedicated to each other for the good of all. Noah somehow gets all these disparate alien species to not only cooperate, but to view each other as friends.
