Born and raised in Chicago, IL, writing has always been a passion for Jessica Cage. She dabbles in artistic creations of all sorts but at the end of the day, it's the pen that her hand itches to hold. Jessica had never considered following her dream to be a writer because she was told far too often "There is no money in writing." So she chose the path most often traveled. During pregnancy she asked herself an important question. How would she be able to inspire her unborn son to follow his dreams and reach for the stars, if she never had the guts to do it herself? Jessica decided to take a risk and unleash the plethora of characters and their crazy adventurous worlds that had previously existed only in her mind, into the realm of readers. She did this with hopes to inspire not only her son but herself. Inviting the world to tag along on her journey to become the writer she has always wanted to be. She hopes to continue writing and bringing her signature Caged Fantasies to readers everywhere.
This story continues to amaze me. I love this ride and would hate for it to end. The characters have grown on me and I've grown with them. Absolutely amazing read
This book along with the other 2 in this series kept you attention. I appreciate that each book was a continuation of the story not the same pattern repeatedly. Some authors give the same formula for each book in each series. I can see Jessica building and adding layers.
Pro: the plot was awesome and I totally loved Sy. Though at times she was to self depricating. I love the character development and thought she did an amazing job connecting us to each person. She gave enough detail to connect but not to much to take away from the story.
Con: I wanted to love it but it just did not do it. The writing at times left a lot to the imagination and jumped quite often. I had to go back and re-read a paragraph because I thought I missed something because how it moved to the next "scene". One paragraph she is talking about her love of Rhys and the next line she's fighting her dad, the whole series was this way and made it difficult to finish. By the 3rd book I was use to it but still frustrating. Legit the ending was like WTF. IDK if its cliffhanger or what but so much was not finished or wrapped up.
I would recommend but definitely warn about keeping a open mind. I'm going to try her other books, because I love her plots and characters.
I have so many unanswered questions and no place to get answers. The book said “The End” like it didn’t leave everyone hanging on wondering what happened next. On top of that I cannot download Imara because it says kindle unlimited doesn’t support the purchase of the book! I pay money to have access to all books. Someone mentioned in the review comments for that book that Malachi got a mate and that it tied up some loose ends. I am very upset with the ending. Outside of that, this was a great read.
Dragged on for way too long. The people that sacrificed the most lost everything ( including their lives and loves) for someone that struggled the entire series to see past their own selfish ways. The ending is abrupt without any real closure other than the main character keeps her mother, her love and kills her father. Everyone else around her suffers.
Another great series with engaging well written characters and a creative storyline. I am so excited to have a new author to binge. Sad that this is book 3 but hopeful that book 4 will happen. Fingers crossed. I think there is more to this story to be told.
I really wanted to cry several times reading this book. I am so praying that this is not the end of this story, because after the way it ended I know the author is not gonna leave us hanging like that..... fingers crossed for a another book
Well I am proud to say this turn out very good! I was upset with her first about how she just drop the brothers and even called her selfish. But in the end it came out so much better then I thought. I can’t wait to find out what happens next.
I've been following Syrinada's story for a moment and I was so excited to dive into book 3. This one has a lot of unexpected twists and turns, but I loved it!! Great book, and I highly recommend this series!!
This book had me captivated from the beginning. I feel in love with some characters and hate others. The way this book shows you family doesn't have to mean blood. It shows that you choose those who u want as family. Good vs Evil story where you heart brakes.
She picked her mate! She picked her mate! It was driving me insane. This was an intense one. It felt as though most things were concluded so I am interested to see what happens in book 4.
I must be really enjoying this series because not many books keep my attention like this!!! If you haven't read the Sirens series please do!!! Excellent job Jessica!!!
