We have Mister grinch Kingsley who works, and that's it no time for anything but that. He likes it, and it's sorta ruined when he has to do a holiday party, something he doesn't wanna do, and with a perky bubbly party planner who's always happy. He's annoyed and tries not to have any time with her because she's annoying, lol. Truth is, he's feeling something but shakes it off.
As for Clementine, this is her first Christmas without her grandma, so she's putting on a brave face and making sure Kingsley business has the best party, even with a grump boss. Few times she feels overwhelmed, and that's what breaks King he doesn't want her sad he hates it, so he starts listening and doing small things for her.
He's protective of her now. They have their ups and a down when Clementine thinks he lied to her. It's a little doozy, but they work it out.

This was cute I didn’t rly love the whole third act break up it honestly could have been solved right away but I digress 😪 the way she lost her grandma and it was her first Christmas without her honestly hit a little close to home and I was not expecting tearing up at some parts. This was an awesome grumpy/sunshine Christmas story. Kingsley is the CEO of his own company and a total grump. When his board wants a Christmas party, he won't stand for it. Until he meets the new party planner. Clementine is the cheerful party planner and turns his life around. He falls head over heels for her and nothing and nobody can stop him from getting his woman. But his conniving and cold blooded mother tries to make problems for them, but Kingsley won't stand for it.

When Clementine walks out of Kingsley's office she starts talking to his assistance when they're joking around he comes out and growls at them then asks her to leave. When Kingsley arrives the next day Clementine is already in his office with coffee for him. Clementine tells Kingsley he doesn't have any appointments for a few hours so nows a good time for her to get to know what kind of party he wants to have. When Kingsley's mother arrives Clementine sneaks out and then he looks for her after she's left. I love a good grumpy/sunshine trope. Kingsley is definitely a major Scrooge who is married to his job. Dealing with his parents’ disgusting marriage and how they treated him, especially around the holidays, has left him jaded. He wants nothing to do with any so-called celebrations between October and February. When his board of directors tasks him with hosting a family friendly Christmas bash to help woo a big client, he is not happy. He’s even more unhappy when he learns he has to help assist the party planner the board already hired. He definitely isn’t prepared when their first meeting leaves him thunderstruck. Clementine Clarkson is everything Kingsley normally hates: a bubbly ray of sunshine who LOVES Christmas. But she makes him feel strange things, protective, possessive and filthy strange things. Clementine is on a mission to restore some holiday cheer to the hot, but grumpy CEO. These two never stood a chance against the chemistry between them and it gets very steamy. Just when Kingsley has found his cheer (and his forever), his plotting mother blows up his new relationship. Will Kingsley be able to get his love back or will he lose her forever?.

I was worried at first i wasn’t going to like this book, it was slow at first(or maybe i was struggling to pick up a book again), but i was pleasantly surprised after the first 10-15 pages . Love the slow build of the characters flirtations, and well told back stories explained in little situations that happen. Whether it be Kingsley’s mom visiting or Clementine falling hopelessly on her couch to sleep when she gets home after a long day. I loved the possessive scrooge in Kingsley when others interrupt him while with Clem, and how Clem reacts to his responses with a swat , etc. Their story was fun and I couldn’t put it down once it got going. I finished it in a morning before the kids woke up. Love the spicy scenes! 🥵 for a quick read! Love Kingsleys spicy side, made me want to read it more to get to the hot scenes! He was sexy and she was sweet! I love it when an author introduces characters in stories, that leaves me wondering if they will have their own stories, and what they will be? Well the author did this with 2 characters & 2 other books to read, I’m slightly excited to read about the ex-military mountain man. 😍.

These 2 people could not be more different! Clementine is an event planner who loves Christmas. Kingsley is a Scrooge who believes that Christmas is fake and just a reason to spend money. Kingsley’s Board of Directors has decided to host a Christmas party for some potential clients. That is where Clementine comes in.
Kingsley is rude to her but Clementine trudges through. So much so that Kingsley finds himself happy spending time with her. Clementine adores his attention and craves his touch as much as he does.
This book was steamy and incredible! This author does a fantastic job of keeping this book interesting and kept me longing for more. I didn’t want their story to end! I love Cameron Hart books and eagerly await her next adventure!.

This book is a part of the Mistletoe Love series and focuses on Kingsley and Clementine. Kingsley is a successful real estate developer who is told by his board that he pretty much has to hold a holiday party. He is unhappy about having to throw a party because he doesn’t like the holiday season at all. When he meets Clementine, the event planner the board hired, he begins to experience feelings that he never has before. Clementine makes him feel all the feels and it doesn’t take him long to realize what she is to him. I love how perfectly Kingsley and Clementine complement each other and how they each bring out a side of each other that no one else can. This was such a great story and a great addition to the series.

Working for the Scrooge is a short and steamy, grumpy-sunshine, instalove, OTT, age-gap, Christmas themed, curvy girl gets her boss romance. Kingsley is a 40 year old, hunky, grumpy CEO. Clementine is a sassy, happy, 25 year old curvy party planner. When Kingsley, the biggest Grinch of them all, is told by the company board that he needs to hold a company Christmas party, he never expects to be swept away by the ray of sunshine, curvy party planner. Clementine is determined to make this Grinch's heart grow 3 sizes. The dynamic and chemistry between these two is off the charts, and we do get an HEA after some drama. I loved this couple and watching Kingsley melt for Clementine. This was such a great, feel-good Christmas romance.

Clementine is hired to plan a company party for Kingsley a self proclaimed Scrooge. She is struggling with the loss of her grandmother and trying her best to keep her holiday spirit alive, she finds Kingsleys grumpiness a bit charming and is determined to change his attitude towards Christmas. He is instantly attracted and intrigued but Clementine and over time can't help but feel drawn and protective of her. I loved these two together, they brought out the best in each other and once Kingsley made up his mind he was all in. He went through great lengths to show her love and spoil her. It's a sweet, steamy, lighthearted read that gives all the holiday feels. 5 stars, definitely recommend and will reread several times!.

This started out super fun & sweet, and it seemed like these two were getting to know each other during the planning for this holiday party. I was really vibing with them both & their story!
And then, it kinda felt like THEY flew out the window & it became a steamfest, dropping everything else. After that, there was a completely ridiculous misunderstanding/drama that led to a SOB (Seemingly obligatory breakup). Just... I was enjoying it so much before that, that I was really disappointed in the direction it went.
The epilogue was really cute, and I would have loved it if the drama/misunderstanding had gone a different way. Still, Clementine & Kingsley made me smile, & I enjoyed them.

Kingsley is the classic definition of a Scrooge. He doesn't enjoy Christmas and definitely isn't looking forward to a Holiday Office Party, well that is until Clementine comes in the door....there's just something about her that intrigues him. She's the sunshine to his scrooge..

Kingsley is a confirmed bachelor after bringing brought up in a loveless home. He despises any holiday and prefers to be a lone. Clementine is the epitome of sunshine and happiness. Unfortunately she’s grown up with heartache but tries not to let that get her down. Clementine has been hired to plan the Christmas party for Kingsley's business. Things start out rocky with the grumpy CEO but soon the excitement of the season wears off on Kingsley and Clementine has him picking out trees and doing other seasonal activities. This was another steamy read in the Mistletoe series. Kingsley and Clementine were great together looking after each other and providing the love and support the other needed. It’s unsettling.” “Okay…” I grin from ear to ear, loving how uncomfortable he seems with this woman’s happiness.

What a great addition to the Mistletoe Love Series! This was a grumpy/sunshine book with a hint of drama that was cleared up quickly and sweetly. The always bubbly, yet vulnerable, Christmas loving FMC was the best match for the grumpy, emotionally stunt MMC. She helped him find his heart and become a better, more open man. Lots of steam, lots of love, and a growly protective man that tops it off. Kind of wished we saw what happened with his mom, but the HEA and epilogue in the future was a great way to end it as well! Can’t wait to read about some of the side characters and more of the books in this series!

I love Clementine and her sassy, quirky style dress style, plus she is so bubbly and sweet. But she needs all that sweetness to counter Kingsley's grumpy and sour attitude, fortunately she knocks him on his ass without even trying.
Kingsley cannot get the sweet and adorable sugar plum fairy out of his mind....and since when did he do sweet or adorable? Those words are not even in his vocabulary! But when she needs rescuing he finds himself sweeping in like a gallant knight to save the day!

Clementine lost her grandmother and this is the first Christmas without her. She moved to the city for a change of scenery. She is in charge of the Christmas Party being thrown by King’s Holdings Real Estate but the CEO does not seem to be much help.
Kingsley would rather work on Christmas but the board thinks there should be a Christmas Party this year, to help ensnare a particular client. There is something about Clementine that makes him want to spend time with her. It is not long before he is helping her with the party.

I loved this grumpy/sunshine romance. It had all the holiday feels. I loved both main characters... I love how they meet and they are complete opposites but you can still feel that heated tension that you know is going to burn up the pages when they finally come together. I loved how he slowly changed his opinions and thought patterns for her, even though she already loved him the way he was. This showed how he treated her different to everyone else and I think that made me like their romance even more... who doesn't love a man who treats his woman like the queen she is. This book is a must read holiday romance!.

He is however tasked with hosting a holiday party for his company to impress some investors. In walks Clementine who is not only a ray of sunshine but kills Kingsley with her kindness.
Their chemistry was incredible and I loved seeing Clementine let loose. Who knew she had a dirty side to her. The dressing room scene was definitely my favorite of the story!! Such a good read.

Kingsley and Clementine's grumpy/sunshine, instalove story is a great addition to the Mistletoe Love multi-author series. I loved Clementine for Kingston she brought out the best in him and their chemistry was off the charts hot. Working For the Scrooge is a sweet Christmas romance with a Grinch twist. The writing is well done, the characters are likable, and this instalove story has sweetness, steam, some drama, a happily ever after and the epilogue was the cherry on top. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
