What was once a game of life and death is now a game of power and revenge. The tables have turned. Zirah, once a pawn, now stands tall like a queen. Their cruel game meant to break her has instead remade her. She's become steel wrapped in silk, a force to be reckoned with.
The Lycan Kings, stripped of their titles, now fight not for a throne but for the favor of the queen who mastered their savage game. The throne is long forgotten, and the three kings only want one their queen. Zirah wants revenge. And there is no better revenge than that served by a scorned queen.
Now, the Kings face a new challenge because they're no longer hunters but the hunted, trapped by their own cruel fate. Now, they are prey to their Lycan Queen.

Oh my! I finished this in a day. I couldn't put it down until it was done. The story advancement is so good! The PLOT TWIST keeps you on your toes in the best way! I love the characters so much. There is a great redemption ARC. I could keep going but I won't spoil anything. It's worth it though. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
As a Jessica Hall fan I know I’m biased!!! That being said this series is fantastic strong fml three alpha assholes who she brings to their knees and love wins out I could read their story all day lots of twist and turns just the right amount of dark spice and sexy moments it’s a must read in my opinion!!! This genre has very few authors that really deliver and Jessica hall is one so if you haven’t read her yet what better way to start then right now with this series…..
I absolutely love this series. The second book really leads you through the process of understanding all the dips and turns of the entire story. While simultaneously bringing you even closer to the characters. I couldn’t stop turning pages for what would be next. The ending was truly a masterpiece for all that the plot put forth!
I started reading this book on a reading app, where it ended on the thirtieth chapter. At that point, the book had so badly ruined my faith in humanity that I was forcing my husband to follow me around the bedroom/bathroom while I ranted about plot twists that NO ONE could have predicted. That doesn’t happen to me very often and it left me unable to trust the characters, the author…….heck, I was doubting my own trustworthiness
And, if that level of distress doesn’t help you understand how fantastic this book is…..well, I guess there just aren’t words.
I finished the book on Kindle, immediately and I will definitely be looking up more books by Jessica Hall, because, well, I do trust her to write a fantastic story I wasn’t expecting.
Such a great series! I really hope that there's a new editor in the future, though. Run on sentences, full stops when it's not warranted or some other set of punctuation issues is very distracting. Despite all the errors, I loved these! I can't wait to continue reading other stories by this author!
I loved this series! So good. Zirah, as always is a bad ass. And theron…meh i haven’t totally processed that yet. And shelley, heheh 🤭. Malachi tho maaaaan.. hes such a rational dude! Notice ive left out much of the MCs lol that youll have to read yourself 😉 its worth it, trust me!
It was a wonderful book don’t get me wrong and I definitely couldn’t wait to get a chance to keep reading it but it did get a bit long after a while. It seemed like it was never going to end (not necessarily a bad thing) it was a great read though and certainly checked all the boxes of what I was hoping it would when I got
2.5 stars honestly. There were definitely some grammatical issues / plot holes which are my pet peeve. The MMCs all had such great potential to be such morally gray characters in the best way and then come this book - they all turn to mush immediately. I needed more hate. Also I felt like the magic system became randomly way more complex with the seven sins and virtues and it wasn't needed.

The story is different from those that I’ve read before. The storyline makes me want to keep reading until the end because I can’t guess what is going to happen.
