In the format of a compact survey this text examines the future events of the world, including the rapture, the tribulation, the appearance and ascension of the anti-Christ, the millennium, and other topics. It holds to a pretribulation, premillennial view and includes a bibliography and index.
4.5 stars; this book by Leon Wood is a great basic coverage of end times. He covers everything from the rapture, to the tribulation, to the Millennium. The only reason I would deduct half of a star would be for a large amount of time spent focusing on relating the two witnesses to Moses, Elijah, and Enoch (of course it can only be two of those). Then, after spending a large amount of time postulating which two are the two witnesses, stating that since the names are not given to us in the context of Revelation it may simply be best to understand these witnesses as not historical figures at all. The same sort of thing is done in regard to “the king of the north” and other relating a of the book of Revelation to present day countries, Kong’s, historical civilizations, etc. I am not staying I disagree entirely with this endeavor, but that I do believe an inordinate amount of time was given to this exploration. Overall, highly recommend and generally in agreement with Wood’s positions.
