Tessa Pride would do anything for the family she has left, so when she and her brother, Adam, finds out that the VC Warriors has captured one of the men who are responsible for turning Adam and a few other others into a half-breeds, they break into their compound and steal the hostage, hoping it will give them answers that will help Adam.
The VC Warriors are the elite group of the VC Council, tasked with protecting the innocents, whether they are vampires like them or humans. Most people are deadly afraid of them, so it comes as quite a shock to Jared Kincaid when a fiery red-head with lots of sass and a gun takes over his interrogation, and steals his captive. And when the Warriors find out exactly why Tessa and Adam broke into their compound, that someone was creating an army of young half-breeds things get a lot more intense and dangerous.

I have liked the easy-going and flirty Jared since the first book, and I loved him in this one. I loved how protective he was over Tessa, and how he never tried to fight his attraction to her. This was a vampire who knows how rare love was, and who was not afraid of going after he wanted.
I love snarky and feisty heroines, and Tessa was amazing. I loved how protective she was over Adam and how she took care of him and their grandfather. I also loved her temper and how smart-ass she was, and also her vulnerabilities and insecurities. She was a very relatable character and I loved her.
I loved the intense attraction between Jared and Tessa, and how she stood up to his bossiness, and the fact that he loved her feistiness was just wonderful. Tessa had quite a few insecurities because of her ass of an ex-fiancé, and it was so damn sexy the way Jared made sure to show her just how beautiful and sexy he knew she was.
I’m totally loving the plot of this series, with the bad guys doing everything they can to eliminate the VC Warriors, even kidnapping teens and creating an army of half-breeds. There was also added suspense with the traitor in the VC Council, and trying to find out who it was.
I love all the secondary characters, especially all the new half-breeds Adam, Jill and Steven. I also liked the romance between Adam and Angelique, a girl who had been crushing on him forever but who he never really noticed until he was turned into a half-breed. And then there is the leader of the VC Warriors, Duncan, (I love him btw with his growly personality) who is in love with social worker Pam, but who already has a boyfriend. And when it comes to light that things are not as it seems with Pam and her asshole boyfriend, Kenny, things get really interesting for these two. Their book is next and I can’t wait to find out what happens. Hopefully Kenny will die a very slow and painful death.
I love PNR and this series is a favorite of mine. The Warriors are so sexy with their protectiveness and possessiveness, the heroines are all kick-ass and feisty and the plot captivating. A must read for all PNR lovers.

I was one of the lucky ones to get a copy of this book from the author and I will be posting an honest review. I love Mrs. Gableman’s writing and this book was one that caught me up so much, I read it in one night and refused to be interrupted while reading it. It grasped ahold of me and wouldn’t let me go. I found myself smiling, laughing, and even choked up while reading it. This is one of those stories you want to read and will find yourself asking when the next book will be out.
Young teens are being turned into half breeds. But how and why is the biggest question that haunts the Vampire Warriors.
Jared and Damon’s best bet is to get them in custody so they can be watched for signs of change and see if they can clue them in on what is going on. Adam seems to be their best bet on finding the answers they need.
When Tessa is around Jared, all he smells is honeysuckle. Her hair is the color of burnished copper in a shapely cut reaching past her shoulders. Her eyes are the color of lake moss and shaped like tear drops, drooping down on each side. This is something he hasn’t felt in a thousand years.
Tessa has taken on the responsibility of taking care of her brother Adam after their mother passes away, their father takes off and their Gramps is put in a home. She’s not sure how to take the compliments Jared is tossing her way or the protective nature he feels for her. No one has ever done that for her before. But her main priority is making sure her brother doesn’t turn rogue. Does she have the means to save him and is there any chance of a cure for him or others like him? Does she hold the key to saving them?

`Jared', by Teresa Gableman, is a paranormal treat. Picking up where book one `Damon' finished, it was impossible not to be swept along with the wonderful fast-paced action of the delectable vampire warriors and the new female protagonist Tessa. This action was almost instant and rarely slowed with the exception of well positioned `calm before the storm' moments and the wonderful hot and tender scenes. And what wonderful, delicious scenes they were!
What I so thoroughly enjoyed about `Jared', was the inclusion of the characters that I felt so connected to from book one, plus the continuation and developing storyline. The plot in particular was challenging enough to keep me absorbed, yet the read itself was effortless to read. Yes, I devoured this in one sitting, just like I did with `Damon'!

I am suffering from a bit of amnesia since I waited too long to write this review.
But...I believe I liked this one. Not quite as much as the first since I like Damon the best. Still more OW drama. Annoying as shit. Seriously, Jared was OBTUSE! OM drama - which was nice for a change.
But I liked Tessa even though she was a bit too much at times.
This series hooked me so even though there were some issues I enjoyed the series as a whole.

I really enjoyed this book! Talk about a group of sexy vampire warriors! This book had one of the strongest heroines. Sometimes an author can write a heroine who tries to be strong/tough but it when you read about her it is obvious that she is fake. With Tessa, you actually get to experience an honest person. She has struggled to keep her family together after the loss of her mother and her father's repeated abuse. Her strength and love for not only her father and grandfather, but the other kids she embraces and cares for as her own defines who she is as a person. She is strength personified; and in her actions to save her brother and the others she captures the attention of Jared.
Jared completely surprised me in his role throughout this story. His ability to go into situations with an open mind, and his protective nature made me completely fall into lust with him! When Tessa is blackmailed into a date with someone who she is not particularly fond of Jared's protective instincts come to the forefront. Needless to say, when her date comes to the door to pick her up and is not acting in a mature manner, especially when he slaps her ass in front of Jared - lets just say that Jared's true nature comes out (IT WAS AWESOME!)
I enjoyed this story and immediately wanted more so I bought the first book in the series to tied me over until we get the next one.

Jared is fun, sexy, emotional, action packed with the yummiest Alpha Males Heroes and the hottest kick butt Heroines. Good amount of surprises with some twist and turns that had me on the edge of my seat and never seen them coming.
Fell head over heals for Jared when he was first introduced in Damon (The Protectors #1). His character was sweet, fun and a smart mouth. Huge Thank You to Teresa Gabelman for keeping Jared’s personality just the way he was in Damon and for giving everything I love about him and so much more in his story. Loved seeing his over protective Alpha Male attitude and it was a joy to see his softer side towards Tessa.
Loved Tessa’s strong will character right from the beginning when she storms into the interrogation room and goes head to head with Jared to get answers for her brother being turned into a half breed. I love how she is protective of her brother and will go to great lengths to help him.
Right from the beginning their chemistry is hot and the sexual tension was off the charts steamy. Their relationship builds through out the novel and Jared is patient with Tessa especially just coming off a bad relationship. They do have their ups and downs because of this and because he is different and his ways our different especially when it comes to feeding. That scene broke my heart and made me smile. His little jealous and possessive side got my stomach all tingly. They are also playful through out the novel that I loved and had me giggling.
All secondary characters play a roll in Jared and never take away from their story just add so much more to it. Was very excited to see how Damon and Nicole are doing and how they are now that they are a couple. I enjoyed Adams Character and I hope to see him and Angelina in future novels. Sed is funny but still a mystery to me. Look forward to seeing him and getting to know him more in other novels in the future. Now Pam and Duncan broke my heart. Their roll in the story is darker and loved every minute of it.
I am loving how these badass warriors are like family. The love they have for each other and their lovers are real. Never a dull moment with these guys. Whether they are in combat or just hanging out they crack me up.
Loved the ending as it left me wanting more now. It is really not a cliffhanger but just enough to know what is coming next. Looking for a different take on Paranormal Romance with characters that are real, they jump off the pages, a great storyline and sexy kick butt heroes then Teresa Gabelman’s The protectors series is it. Jared is another 5 stars - Perfect - keeper in The Protectors.

I am such a HUGE HUGE HUGE fan of Teresa Gabelman and this series!! I could just hug her for writing Jared!!! lol I have LOVED LOVED LOVED Jared from the start and have been not so patiently waiting for his book. I was so happy that his character was the same as she wrote him in Damon. Teresa didn't stray from the core of his character but added to him and I fell in love with his character even more. I hate when secondary characters get their own books and then the author writes them totally different or gives them a story line that changes what I loved about them in the first place. One of the things that I LOVED about Jared from the beginning was his playfulness, humor and charm and that was exactly how he was written in his book. So much fun and I thank Teresa for writing him this way!!
Not only is this my favorite book of the series so far but it is definitely one of my favorite books period!! So well written and entertaining. Everything that I look for in a read. I cannot wait for Duncan, Sid, Pam and Adam to get their books. I also loved Nicole and Damon in this book so much!! They had some great scenes and that had me going back and rereading their book!! lol I love how Nicole was with Damon. Oh...I was so not expecting Pam's story line and it broke my heart~can't wait to see what happens with her. Steve was another character that was so funny.
Oh...I LOVED Tessa and Adam. Such great characters. I loved how they looked out for each other and their grandfather. Tessa is definitely one of my favorite heroines. The things she said cracked me up~I LOVED how she interacted with Jared!! Oh...I loved how they first met!! So good!! I just loved her and Jared so much. I loved how they teased each other. Such a fun couple. And the sex was definitely HOT!! One of my favorite scenes is when Jared is driving the mustang and another is when Tessa is confronted by the old man in the nursing home about the condoms!!! SO FREAKING FUNNY!!! Jared *sigh*
Jared is definitely a perfect example of why I love to read. SO FREAKING AWESOME!! It is these rare books by authors that are truly gifted in telling a story that just blow me away and leave me wanting more. These characters and stories grab hold and dig in and don't let go till long after the story is over. Teresa is definitely one of these authors and I am so glad that I was introduced to her and her writing.
Not only is this in my keeper pile to be reread but I definitely have to get it in paperback also!! :)

Jared is the second book of The Protectors Series. Jared Kincaid is a VC Warrior who is sworn to not only protect his own race but humans as well. Tessa Pride is trying to help and protect her brother Adam who was turned into a half-breed. She totally takes Jared by surprise when she breaks into the VC interrogation room, and he is immediately attracted to her.
Jared is everything you want in a warrior. He is smart, brave, and sexy as hell. He knows when to be serious, but he also has a playful side to his personality. Tessa is a fiery redhead with a lot of spunk. She has been through a lot, especially where relationships are concerned. You see a side of her that is unsure, but her strength always shines through. Although the focus, Jared and Tessa aren’t the only fascinating characters in this read. Aside from the other warriors there are also many other supporting characters that bring life to the story.
I had the opportunity to read the first book when it came out, and I have been itching for the next book ever since. Gableman’s writing is exciting and fast-paced with characters you can’t get enough of. The story draws you into the action from the very beginning, and you become attached to the characters almost immediately. The touches of humor throughout make an already great read even more enjoyable. To fully appreciate the book I recommend readers read the first book, Damon, before diving into this second book.
The Protectors is a series that any fan of the genre would take pleasure in reading. It has love, action, and vampire warriors that ooze sex appeal; then add to that an interesting plot line. How can you go wrong?

I JUST LOVE HER BOOKS, SHE ALWAYS HAS LAUGHTER AND LOVE AND SERIOUS IN HER BOOKS, WHICH IS AWESOME!!! Tess is a normal Human Being her brother Adam is a half breed. Tess has a lot going on in her life,Tess and her Brother Adam meet the Warrior Jared. At First Tess does not like him because when her and her brother needed their help the first time they didn't, The Warriors did not get a call saying that they needed help. There are other half breeds and Jared and the rest of the Warriors help them so they can be stronger. Jared and Tess falls in love, Tess doesn't know if she can trust Jared cause she thinks he is just like the others she use to date,Jared show's her that he is different from the others and that she can trust him, finally she does. I could go on about this awesome book. If you have not read this book you need to. I could not put it down, I can't wait to get it in paperback. Teresa Gabelman you are Awesome!!!!

Jared's story was awesome!! I swooned over him through the entire book. Which I couldn't put down, and read till I was finished, around 3am. lol. I like the twist of events in the second installment of the series, introducuing half-breeds into it. I didn't see it coming and it definitely made the story much more interesting.
This story is an amazing follow up in the series. Jared & Tessa were fun to read and kept me turning the pages. I have to say, the villian is written so well, that I actually really hate him lol. All of the characters are and it makes the book that much better. As with Damon's story, I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one.

Damon and Nicole are together, Nicole having been turned into a vamp to save her. Chad, the bad guy is being interrogated by Jared. Jared is overtaken by a young man and a woman in a baseball cap who then rescue Chad.
Jared is ticked but is really intrigued by the woman and wants to find her. Tessa is the woman, and her brother Adam has been turned into a halfbreed by Chad and they want answers.
Jared and Tessa finally meet and the dynamics are great! Both are witty and resourceful. Their struggle to understand their feelings is wonderful.
The backstory about finding the people behind the creation of halfbreeds is creative.
Well written, can't wait for the next book!

My introduction into Ms Gabelman's world of the VC Warriors was not with a whisper but with a shout and the second installment in this series is EVEN BETTER!!!! In the first book I truly had a "fictional character crush" on Jared now it is full on "LOVE"! Of course he is all the things we all look for in our vampire heroes. He is alpha to the core, strong, courageous, confident, smoking hot, sexy as sin, but Jared is also quite the character. He is funny, a practical joker, and a real pain in the ass when he thinks it is funny! He is the guy/vampire every guy wants to be friends with and every girl just wants!
When Jared meets Tessa it is under circumstances I never thought I would see in a vampire novel. I do not want to ruin the surprise for you but I will say that from the get go Red, Jared's name for Tessa, gives Jared a run for his money and this is only the beginning for this amazing couple. Theirs is not a love story for the faint of heart. It is a love story that will keep you guessing and rushing to devour every word just to see what will happen next!
Ms Gabelman has an incredible ability to write a strong amazing Alpha hero and then create his perfect compliment in her compelling, fiesty heroine. Their chemistry is off the charts and the love that ensues can only be describes as EPIC! Having read both Damon and Jared, I can tell you that her character development is among the absolute best I have ever seen. Tessa is such a brilliant against all odds woman that has kept her brother and her Gramps together since he worthless father hit the road. She is absolutely the type of woman Jared needs! Fate really knows what she is doing, doesn't she?
Once again Ms Gabelman has proven why her books are nominated for the best of the best that Indie has to offer. I cannot wait to see what comes next in her series that rivals any I have read to date!

Yes, I am really liking these series!
The book pics up right where Damon's book left off.
Tessa and her brother Adam were trying to understand how to help the half-breeds and their only solution was to kidnap and interrogate Chad.
They surprised all the warriors with their actions and on in particular - Jared.
Jared and the warriors decide to help Tessa and the half-breeds whey they uncover a whole operation set on creating half-breed and woman breeders.
I liked the way slowly Jared started facing his feeling towards Tessa. Unlike Damon he wanted to have a mate in his life, didn't care about fate and predestination and went for Tessa. Their relation started slowly but steady and it was sweet. I already liked Jared from the first book now I like him even more.
The best part of the series is that there is a plot that started in the first book and even though might not look like is it continued in this book and I guess in the next ones. I love it because I am following a story not just a couple.
What I love about these series is that from the first book Teresa Gabelman has created so many characters that stand on their own, likable and absolutely necessary to the whole action. They all have a voice and a small piece of action. Even though the story is following Tessa and Jared I get to follow each individual character.

Jared is one Alpha Male that has it all! He’s sexy as hell, funny, and even emotional. Yep ladies and gents – he’s the full package, especially when you add that he can kick ass like nobody’s business! Now then, I did not read Damon, the first book in the series…. YET! …. So part of this had me a little confused, but not a great deal at all!
First off, I absolutely loved that Tessa was a strong heroine. She was as kickass as Jared was and I loved that about her. From the start of the book you can feel the chemistry between Jared and Tessa, even though Tessa is more than a little pissed at Jared because of her brother being turned into a half breed. I love how protective Tessa is of not only her brother, but the other teens as well.
This is one of those books that had a number of secondary characters; however they didn’t detract from the story, if anything it added to it! It made me long for the secondary characters stories. Very much so. I do see myself buying the first book in the series, Damon, and will let you know what I think of it when I read it!
I am giving this a 5 star and a steamy rating.

I could not put this down. This book pretty much picks up where the last one left off.
The plot line that is running through these books is really gripping and, in my opinion, plays as much part in the story as the romance side of things does. I really love the characters in this book. I like the way that they bounce off each other and the sense of humour that comes through with the dialogue. Tessa and the half-breeds that were introduced in this book are great characters, all with very individual personalities, that I look forward to seeing developed in future books. The way that Tessa and Jared get introduced to each other is brilliant, and not something that you see/read very often.
Something else that I'm really loving so far with this series is even though you have these tough alpha male vampire warriors, they all have this really caring side, that I think makes them the kind of characters that really draw you in and capture your attention.
I would totally recommend this series, to paranormal romance lovers.

Who are all the people who think this book is amazing? Am I just crazy? I must have cringed or rolled my eyes 50 times by the 10% mark. This book was super short, must have been self-published because it's rife with mistakes, and so shoddily, awkwardly written. The "alpha" men are not sexy or smart (they're supposed to be covert operative vampires, super strong with a compound and yet a backwoods woman with a gun breaks in, holds them up, steals their captive, then after they find her house, climbs out the window to get away - how does this less-than-genius woman keep outwitting 6 covert operatives?).
Filled with witty run-on sentences like "They all stared at her with no emotion at all, well they all looked pretty pissed, but she was trying to ignore that fact."
And "For shit shake Callahan. Your mouth is like a duck’s ass sprouting shit everywhere.” Classy.
The men were ridiculously written (from Hero's POV, his teammates smile was even unwittingly described as sexy).

After breaking into the VC Warriors Compound, Tessa Pride soon finds herself joining forces with the Warrior Jared Kincaid in the war that is brewing between Warriors and half-breeds in this thrilling paranormal romance. The author spices things up in this very enjoyable and entertaining story with some surprising twist that keeps everyone guessing and I have to say that this series has become a definitely have to have set of books.

This sophomore effort begins with vampire warrior Jared Kincaid questioning their prisoner, Chad, from book one about the Crimson Rush drug ring and the adoptions but the interrogation is interrupted when Tessa Pride and her accomplice break into the facility to rescue Chad, who's obviously involved with creating rare half-breeds.
Stressed half out of her mind, Tessa can barely stay upright but damned if she'll let the vampires, half-breeds or anyone else interfere with her life. Tessa has to make her grandfather's last days as memorable as she can, she has to find a way to help her brother, she has to keep her job and more than anything she has to know that vampire's name.
Jared's touched that the red-head is willing to brave vampire wrath to get what she came for and caring enough to ensure he isn't hurt in the process. Jared didn't mind being immobile but he did mind not getting a name to go along with the honeysuckle scent Tessa left behind. An issue he'd soon rectify.
I liked the pieces with the breeds, the leads chemistry but was torn over the information about the next read. Jared, a lively secondary character wore his 'A' game, didn't shy away from his star turn and Tessa was a strong female with a good amount of depth. For my taste, this outing is much stronger than its predecessor especially the mechanics.

When I opened our email and realized that Teresa sent us the second book of her Protectors series I was so excited I did a little happy dance....
I have been waiting for this moment for months and months....patiently waiting, hoping and growing more and more excited.
As many of you are aware I am a sucker for romance. Especially vampire romance. Something that society views as scary and evil can't have emotions right? Oh you couldn't be more wrong! We know from the first book that Damon is romantic...and Jared does not disappoint! There is just something about a super strong, over protective hunk of man flesh that melts a girls heart.
I can never seem to get enough of the bad ass vampire turned romantic.
A series that I would compare Teresa's series to is The Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. And everyone who knows me knows how I feel about those sexy vamps! Although the protector series has a very different storyline. The badassidry (yes I just used a word that doesn't actually exist) of the warriors reminds me a lot of the brotherhood...and the romance is very similar too.
Let me say that I really appreciated the lack of bellybutton play in this book...Teresa is THE ONLY author that I have criticized about something and she actually did something about it! I also thoroughly enjoy the word 'asshat' .(That is one that I use quite often when referring to my husband...Hahaha!)
I really liked that the story picked up where it left off and the characters still had the same personalities. The world building was strong, the character development was very strong...once again I felt as if I was Tessa's best friend...and I guess not a very good best friend, because Jared was looking pretty damn good to me!!
I loved the little twist the story had with Pam, and at the end and how Teresa left the ending open for the story to flow nicely into Duncan and Pam's book. I cannot wait for the next....hopefully Teresa works quickly on this one!

Now this is what I thought the series was going to be like! This book was fast paced, action packed, and with a good amount of romance. Teresa Gabelman did an awesome job with these two main characters and the side characters. And now that Jerad is taken my new favorite Warrior is Sid!
“I hope to fuck he said plate,” Sid sighed shaking his head when Jared growled deep and loud. “And my hopes are dashed.”
Jared was amazing! I loved him and the way he was with Tessa. He said all the right things and did all the right things while still being super alpha hotness.
Jared watched the excitement radiating from her beautiful eyes as she looked over the stuffed animals hanging all over the booth. Mate or not, she was going to be his. To hell with what anyone thought, council included. He had never been a big believer in the mate crap anyway. He was happy for Damon and others who had found theirs, but he had been walking this world alone for thousands of years. He was done waiting. He had found who he’d been looking for and she stood before him looking more beautiful than anything he had ever seen clutching a red Angry Bird to her chest.
Tessa was spunky and I loved that about her. I also loved her relationship with her brother Adam. The only thing that bothered me was her view of herself. She only ended up appreciating how she looked because Jerad had convinced her. I would have liked it better if she found a way to love herself without a mans opinion being the main reason.
“A straw…because I wouldn’t advise putting your mouth on any of them.” Tessa glanced back at the women then back up at her brother. “Also, if you get any ideas about…well you know…I’d protect…” She waved her hand around his lower area. “Are you freakin kidding me?” Adam shuffled his feet looking away embarrassed. “No, I’m not,” Tessa snorted. “So don’t come crying to me if it turns green and…and rots off.”
The plot was way better than the last book. A lot more twists and turns but some were a little predictable. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone who loves an alpha action vampire book!

Well TG jelas mengerjakan peernya dengan baik. Buku ke-2 dari seri warrior vampire ini muncul jauh lebih menarik dan kuat dari buku pertamanya. Beberapa poin yang kusuka di sini antara lain :
- Karakter utamanya Jared di VC warrior yang gahar protektif tapi juga super menawan. Dan lawannya Tessa gadis curvy yang pemberani, smart dan punya kosakata nyampah yang sangat bervariasi. Ke-2 karakter utama gampang disukai. Banter mereka berdua lucu dan seru. Banyak scene-scene kecil yang kocak tapi juga menaikan tensi. Ini membuat chemistry mereka terbangun sempurna sejak awal pertemuan.
- Konfliknya utamanya sudah lebih kuat dan masih bersambung dari buku pertama. Konflik-konflik kecil masih mirip dengan buku pertama cuma seputar kecemburuan, susahnya memberikan kepercayaan dan ketidakpedean antar pasangan utama.
- Kita akan menemukan beberapa karakter baru yang sangat menarik, kocak dan so pasti bikin kepo maksimal. Misal Sid si playboy jago masak yang punya mulut tong sampah. Duncan yang intens dan memendam perasaan terhadap gadis yang bukan miliknya. Adam yang bisa membaca pikiran apapun. Sloan si bos VC yang darah tingginya terancam kambuh karena mengurus anak buahnya yang gahar bandel dan selalu membangkang.
- Kisah ini tidak menawarkan hal baru dari sebuah kisah pnr. Steamy scene juga tidak mendetail. Timeline masih kurang jelas, dan storyline juga masih bolong-bolong, tapi cara penulisan TG menarik dan penuh potensi. Dia membuat hal biasa menjadi fun untuk dibaca dan bikin ketagihan.

Jared's a vampire. Not just any vampire: he's a Warrior, and his job is to protect other vampires and humans alike. He's running an interrogation for the Council when he finds himself interrupted and subsequently silver-chained by two intruders, a half-breed and a female human, for God's sake! The duo take Jared's prisoner with them, and he must track them down to get the guy back, and perhaps get a little payback for being so rudely interrupted. However, the plan doesn't go as he wants it to, and suddenly the plot thickens as he and the rest of the Warriors learn of the creation of a half-breed army. Who's doing it? Why? And what does that mean for the world as we know it?
Let me start of by saying I totally want Jared to be my vampire lover. Okay, now that we've gotten that out of the way (but seriously, I'm taking him), we can get down to business. The dialogue in this book is just hilarious, whether it's Jared alone, between him and the Warriors or him and Tess, or it's Adam, or really just anyone. There were several times where I scared my dog because I busted out laughing, but I just couldn't help it! And the chemistry between Jared and Tess is just too hot to handle. I absolutely loved this book, and I'm definitely going to check out more from this author VERY soon!

Jared pretty much starts off where Damon left off but with a lot more action.
We met Jared in book 1 - he is a part of the Vampire Warriors sent to train humans. Jared isn’t easily surprised or shocked so when Tessa comes rolling in to the compound, he can’t help but be intrigued by her She will stop at nothing to find her brother who has been turned into a half-breed.
Jared and Tessa fight a tough battle to find out who is behind the half-breeds. The plot is interesting and keeps you on your toes. I love the banter between these two and the humor interjected into the story. Tessa is a very strong female and will go toe to toe with anyone in order to find out what is going on. Jared’s immediate attraction to her has him wanting to help her in anyway possible.
Teresa does a wonderful job of keeping the story moving and yet still delivering a vivid book. The other characters were also entertaining and I am hoping to see future books about them. I also loved reading about how Damon and Nicole were doing – always nice to read about previous characters and have their stories continue throughout the other book as back story.
I will definitely say The Protector series is a paranormal romance I would recommend to someone looking for a great storyline. They are entertaining and easy reads.

Book 2 in series
I’m not going to give a synopsis because as mentioned before there is about 3/4 different story arcs going on in this book. Continuing on from the first book, The main focus is on Jared and his relationship with tessa.
Tessa and her brother Adam break into the cx warriours ware house, tie Jarod up in chains ( oooer kinky ) and steal chad the massive bag of dicks turn coat From Book 1. After tracking tessa and Adam down the warriors realise they have discovered a lot more going on then they thought.
Chad and his ‘associate’ have not only been child trafficking vampire kids to sell the blood to drug users but they have also been turning 16-18 year old boys into half breed by injecting them with ‘something’ Adam and his sister tessa fell foul to this dastardly plan but tessa managed to escape before getting injected. The only person they recognised was chad. Because after their mothers death and abandonment of their alcoholic abusive father social workers stepped in to support tessa with her younger brother. Tessa is not trusting of anyone especially men and when Jared seems focused on protecting her she struggles to accept him.
Fantastic from the start and utterly gripping. So so so much more than just a story about vampires.

Jared Kincaid has had not problem taunting Damon about his new mate, he relishes in it. So he might be able to blame just a little bit of his being he being caught off guard by a half-breed vampire and a firecracker of a woman on that, however he plans to use every tool out there to discover who they are.
Tessa Pride will do anything to help her brother, kidnapping someone is a bit beyond the realm of comfortable perimeters, but it is a means to an end. However when the vampire they detained shows up wanting explanations and a bit of revenge, Tessa treads carefully.
Jared knows his signals are not crossed, he wants Tessa but she has a few walls that are keeping her from making the leap with Jared. He wants her, Tessa is not wanting to be another notch, and if that was not enough there is a threat no one expected and Tessa seems to be in middle of it.

I would like to start by saying that I absolutely fell in love with Book 1 Damon, but I believe book 2 Jared is even better!!! My taste buds were tantilized, my heart wept, and my soul belongs to Jared!! I love the action, suspence, sex, love, betrayal, and the many wicked twists and turns that happened throughout this book. The same amazing charaters that I fell in love with are in this amazing book as well, along with new ones that are to die for and remember always. This a MUST read 18+ story that will reel you in from the beginning and keep you hooked, lined, and sinkered till the end and you will enjoy this wild and phenomenal roller coaster ride of enjoyment!! Thank you, Teresa Gabelman, for the opportunity to read and review this magnificent, breathtaking, and fun ride through the life and thoughts of Jared!!!

This series has vampires and now half breeds. It also has bad ones of the same species and let's not forget humans that are both good and bad. The Warriors are vampires who protect vamps and humans. They have a traitor in their midst.
This series has a lot of action in it. Some intrigue as well as romance and paranormal characters. It's well written with an interesting plot.

I am in LOVE!!! Let me repeat this...I am in LOVE!!!! I am a huge Paranormal Vamp lover and this series is everything I want/need. The guys are alpha in a bug way. The girls are feisty. The bad guys are bad. The plot twists are TWISTED.
I met Jared in Damons book and instant *Swooning* happened. Don;t get me wrong i loved Damon but something about cocky, arrogant, flirty, teasing, all around good guy Jared made my hear kinda beat a but faster.
So this book starts with Jared questioning a bad guy from book 1. When outta nowhere a fiery redhead and her brother break into the WARRIOR COMPOUND, tie him up and take his prisoner. Jared is instantly attracted to the girl. They track her and her HALF-BREED bother down...yes people this is a new development for the Warriors that someone is MAKING half breeds.....and take back the prisoner. Well the half-breeds and the Warrios begin to work together. Jared finds himself watching the redhead because she gives him back all the crap and attitude he throw at everyone else and he LIKES IT!!! The couple begin to admit their feelings and fears over being in a relationship because he has NEVER been in one and she has had nothing but terrible ones. I loved how open Jared was and how he would accept her challenging him. Her challenges often opened his eyes to so situations that were so new to him....like feeding from an ex-bootie call...not a good decision Jared.......
If you enjoyed the first book of the series , I gotta tell you this one is way better. The plot was thick and does an awesome job setting up for book 3. I am totally downloading it right this second to get it started. The bad guy was kinda shocker especially since you dont see it coming. The good guys are having some major betrayal and it is seriously undermining their abilities to work with the human police and instill faith in the human population.
Anyway, I loved this book and am sooo excited that I met this author. I just cant stop grinning about these books!!!! AMAZING!!!!

LAME UNDERDEVELOPED VAMPIRES!!!
Tessa's the heroine of the story, brother Adam has been changed into half vampire. Bk 2 Jared picks up right after bk1 Damon. Tessa and Adam break into the Vampire Warriors Compound to kidnap the the Warriors prisoner Chad Evans. Chad is involved in the illegal action changing children and teenager into vampires for there addictive blood called Crimson Rush. The story is entertaining. But the Vamps are a bit Lame they really need more supernatural skills an abilities to make the Protector series a successful Vampire series. I am uses to more developed vampires such as the Carpathian"The Dark series" by Christine Feehan. These modern Vampires are just underdeveloped!!
