“One day, when you least expect it
You’ll realize your worth
And nothing with ever cage
Your heart again”

This quote sums up this book perfectly. It’s a reminder to stay a little longer, fight a little harder, and to be patient when times are tough. You’re not alone in this fight and that’s what makes this book beautiful.

I wish I would have read this book back in 2019/2020. It would have helped me a lot. It talks about heartbreak and grief. As she was going through a heartbreak she lost her father and was going through grief as well.

"Better Days & Resounding Suns"

This line is written on my wrist in pen and if I were ever to get a tattoo, this would be it. Kayla captures grief, love, and hope in a way that comforted me. My copy is annotated and will be well loved. One I'll return to often.

This is a book to treasure. Maybe today, one could have thought words like this, but one day, one may need to hear them, and maybe there won't be one to speak them. So I treasure it. For that. I am the type of person who forgets easily to love herself.

262 pages of different ways to speak of love. I like to open and read a random page on a cloudy day, it can make a difference.
Love that is found even in hurt and in lessons of letting go.

Not only love for others but towards ourselves as well.

Thank you, author, for writing this book.

I absolutely loved “Glass Hearts & Broken Promises” by this same author so I was so excited when I saw this release! This was yet again another beautiful collection of poems. There was a mixture of grief and heartbreak poems. All written so beautifully and raw. There were definitely a few that made me tear up! I loved the different sections this was broken up into and this little illustrations were all so cute.
