After a dangerous encounter with a malevolent spirit, Keitaro Gentoga wants nothing to do with the supernatural. Unfortunately for this reluctant ghost magnet, he’s stuck helping Yayoi Hozuki—a strange young girl who’s intent on capturing Japan’s most terrifying ghosts and ghouls.
Otogiri, the Soul-Stealing Courtesan, has taken center stage in the battle against a cannibalistic child spirit. Will her assortment of deadly curses be enough to overcome his raw power, or will she become nothing more than food to sate his unending hunger? Worse, even if she does win, will the weakened Keitaro, Yayoi, and Eiko be able to reseal her before she turns her curses on them?
I don't know what I love more about this series, the spooky ghosts and how they affect our characters or the ghost's backstories that add so much depth to these spirits. They're not just tools, they were people once.
But I feel so sorry for the cops, they didn't deserve that. Neither did any of those kids! I really hope they'll be okay...
I didn’t find the ending to the Old I Water Gate to be very satisfying, and the fighting was hard to follow. The art was great though and I really enjoyed School Ghost Story (1) Tag—what a cliffhanger! I immediately need to read the next volume.

Man the story just keeps getting better and better. I like the fact that we now have stuff happening to Yayoi while at school. Takes the story out of the normal run of visiting haunted sites.
