Aeryn Rudel is a writer from Seattle, Washington. He is the author of the Acts of War novels published by Privateer Press, and his short fiction has appeared in The Arcanist, The Molotov Cocktail, and Pseudopod, among others. Aeryn is a notorious dinosaur nerd, a baseball fanatic, and knows far more about swords than is healthy or socially acceptable. He occasionally offers dubious advice on the subjects of writing and rejection (mostly rejection) at www.rejectomancy.com or Twitter @Aeryn_Rudel.
This is a pretty good supplement to the Iron Kingdoms Full Metal Fantasy role-playing game. It includes several non-human character professions, additional rules for combat maneuvers (with many related to the Unarmed Combat skill), additional abilities and rules for creating a criminal/smuggler company. There are more weapons and equipment (including some neat alchemical concoctions) and rules for playing a Thamarite Advocate (including new spells, abilities and rules on crafting thralls).
If this was not enough, there is also a pretty decent background section on the city of Five Fingers, a few short adventure scenarios (2-4 pages in length) and a larger in-depth adventure (seven episodes are described for it). This is a good selection of information for a 96-page book.
