Though a lot of this text is pretty old-school, it's still an excellent read-through and reference if you're looking to do Construction Documents the formal way. It gives you just enough guidance to keep you on track, but leaves you plenty of room to add your own drawing flair to otherwise dry drawings.

Part of my ARE study curriculum.
