Hi, if you're reading this review, please keep in mind that this is more so intended for myself than others, but you're still aloud to read if you'd like! 😁 (Just note that I might talk about rollercoasters, I am a coaster enthusiast, you have been warned)

Who was the strange figure at the end that stopped time? I need the next book so much! Hopefully Barnes and Noble will have it when I go to buy it.
Cuz if they don't, I'm going to be very mad, just like if I go to Six Flags and one of my favorite rollercoasters is down. It'll be the same feeling as that, the frustration of not being able to get what I paid for, lol.
Anyways, I'm truly enjoying this series and I can't get enough of it, so much to the point that I reread them (just like i re-ride my favorite rollercoasters bc I can't get enough of them) before even getting THIS volume because I could NOT wait any longer for Barns and Noble to have the book, cuz whenever I actually need it, they never have it.
Now, I just need the rest of the series, but I've only ever seen up to 29 in my local B&N, idk what number the series goes up to, or how many of them have been translated, and im too scared to look it up bc i might come across spoilers, and I don't want that.
Anyways, can't wait to get the next volume bc my birthday is coming up, so maybe that's when I'll get it.

I find that, other than Shiki's persistent desire to befriend literally EVERYBODY that's very often rewarded in a satisfying way, I don't have a lot to say about this series at this point. What happens in this volume is very similar to EVERY OTHER VOLUME, particularly after the majority of the "core" cast has assembled.

Down to the fact there can't POSSIBLY be a volume *without* a bath scene. Literally right at the end, shoehorned it in.

So, Very Okay read, trademark Mashima. I don't really like being so terse in my reviews, since a lot of the point is to remind myself of what happened without having to re-read the book, but... it's very samey now. I almost wish it would have ended back in book 25 like I almost wanted, since it felt nice and wrapped up. As it is, it's reintroducing a lot of characters I forgot, and relegating others to the sidelines, since... well, there's strategically no point in bringing them back (Couchpo, Connor, etc.).

So most of this volume feels like it is loaded with exposition as we learn what happened to Oracion Seis Interstellar and I do like they make jokes about how they have changed but it feels like the fight against Dr. Muller feels rather one sided and ended to quickly. But it feels like now the story is finally moving into new territory again as Rebecca reunites with her mother and they learn about the path to Mother.

4/5 This volume feels pretty light and breezy for the series but I still really enjoyed it. Shura and Shiki finally get to be friends and the crew is now completely reformed in Universe Zero. Muller has stolen Xenolith’s powers but he seems to go down much easier this time. He barely got to use his chainsaws.

Literal cringe. I can not stand Muller. Please for the love of Mother may he be gone forever and doesn't pop back up in another series Hiro comes out with.
