As I read this collection of heartfelt verse, it reminded me of the cathartic power of poetry. I chuckled and got teary-eyed reading, and many of the poems rang true to my own experiences. I hope the author knows that others understand; that even when we feel alone, we are not. And that knowledge is what she provides to her readers with this collection. Well done!

I like the themes, but it needs more work. I don’t see many poetic elements.

Poetry about love, loss and life. Not all were relatable to me but each and every poem was moving and you could feel the emotion behind each one. There were a few poems that really hit close to home. I would recommend to anyone who has gone through the loss of a loved one, a heartbreak, a great love, parenthood and/or friendship.
