Looks Can Be Deceiving
Based on the title and cover art, I thought this novella was gonna be all spice, no substance. I’m elated that I was wrong. The story line is really sweet, socially conscious, and the second-chance romance meshes well with it. I read Book 2 first, and I’m glad I did. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have given the story a chance.

Nice Read
As a short story it was ok,it was a short story so I guess you can’t expect a whole lot of drama, but it was kinda of slow for me.and why are you mad at Kareem for finally making his feelings known? Now I did Love the introduction of Kwanza and the explanation and execution for each day activities.
