Hooking up with an MC president at my age isn't something I ever thought I'd do as a successful doctor. Beard wanted to keep it casual. So he didn't take the news that I was pregnant very well. Fine. I don't need him. Then he decided he made a mistake and wanted me back. Age-gap romance...
Gah this man has some freaking balls man…. Hehehe or maybe not after the h gets to him 😂
So he is 60…. Yeah he’s a bit to old He meets the h and they hookup a few months. He keeps it to just sex She finds out she is pregnant He reacts HORRIBLY … gah wtf man She is a freaking queen with how he treated her… priceless
4 mo go by he is looking for her He finds her Let the grovel commence
‼️Thoughts
Umm I felt that Beard didn’t take his fuck up serious enough. He comes in a demands a lot considering how he left things. But he does have a good grovel in that he works hard to be worthy of her and the babies. I would have liked more begging but hey that’s just me.
The h and her family made this enjoyable for me. They were great and fun to read. Without their comic relief I would have rated this lower cause I mean…. Dude you 60 and only ever did ONS 🤮🤮🤮FUCKING GROSS And he was kinda an asshole But I guess being Prez of a club will require that.
No cheating No OP after meeting Both celibate during 4 mo separation He only did ONS 🤮FOR HIS WHOLE LIFE. Gah his dick is so gross to me. I just couldn’t find him sexy! 🤮🤮 She had regular normal relationships and sex Grovel was ok redemption was better

**Safety: No cheating whatsoever; neither MC is with anyone else after meeting. Beard is a 60-year-old bachelor who owns an MC, though, so he is...experienced. (Emily is 39, for clarity on the age gap.) Low moment is when he deliberately has two club girls sit in his lap when Emily comes to see him at the clubhouse uninvited and asks to speak to him privately.
This one wasn't for me. From other books with scenes involving Beard, I already knew I didn't like him, but I wanted to see if he improved at all in his own book. Sorry, but I still can't stand him. He pissed me off with his interference in Levi and Genny's book and he just rubbed me the wrong way for the entirety of this book, even though he was trying to redeem himself. I think he redeemed himself in regards to becoming a father, but I don't think he redeemed himself as a romantic partner to Emily. I needed a lot more groveling from him. He somehow made himself a weird mix of pushy "alpha" and immature 60-year-old.
I think what bothered me the most about this was the lack of showing the progression in Emily's mind of forgiving Beard and giving him another chance. I saw it happen on page, but the flow of it was a little too choppy to convince me. I didn't really believe their affection for each other or that they'd be good as anything more than co-parents. I will say that the epilogue had a decent (and symbolic for more than one reason) on-his-knees-crying moment, so I can't complain too much, but I wish it had happened earlier to be more convincing. Once again, I'm blaming "Tenn and Lark" for raising my standards so fucking high. Thank you for ruining me, author!
If Beard had given up his cut and the club entirely for Emily, that would've gone a long way in his favor. He mentioned to Genny in a flashback conversation that he'd be willing to give up his cut, then he tells Emily's father that he'd choose her over the club, but it would've made a much bigger impact if he'd actually said it to Emily herself.
Even though I didn't like this, I still enjoyed reading it because the author does a great job of pulling you right in to the story and not letting up until the last page, regardless of whether you liked the book or not.
Solidly 4* and some more! Okay, there are so many novelties in this book!
A May-Dec book where the May is pretty Decemberish herself and the December is IDK what! (40-60! Yes, we have a silver fox MC prez H whom the h thinks is just a few years older than her 40 yrs.) A (emo) cheating/kick to the curb book that gives you stitches?! A strong, don't-mess-with-me h who delivers instant, gratifying, 'ball-twisting' and the best eveeeer justice to an a-hole H. And it's the sec characters - her parents - that hold up the book and make it something extra special! Wow, do I loooove 'Fabio' and Anne! They make you crack up once too often! Such lines!
This story is posted on Wattpad and can be read free there. Please be aware in all these books the Hero messes up in varying degrees from saying something very disloyal to full out cheating, each story is different.
Just to clarify in this story the Hero in this story messes up when the heroine tells him she's pregnant.
Here's what you'll get with my stories: A strong h. An H who messes up (never the h!) with either cheating (and I consider kissing OW cheating) or some other betrayal. An H who gets his a$$ handed to him for said mess up. An H doing the grovel to HEA! (Always, always, always have to have an HEA between the H and h, but the H has to really work for it.) And, in cases of nasty OW...karma will be stopping by to say hello.
What you'll never get: An h moving on to another man in a serious way. The h having revenge s3x (it's just not going to happen). The h and OW becoming friends (that is also never going to happen).
Age gap, the Hero is 60, the heroine 40. They've been seeing each other 3 months I think it is, she finds she is pregnant.
I liked this book, it did make me laugh but I found no real reason for his extreme reaction to the news. She arrives at the clubhouse, he says after her uninvited arrival caused his reaction. She asks to see him. He invites 2 club girls to sit in his lap when she asks to speak to him privately. He then says he's too old to be a father but he will give her child support on a paternity test. If she sucks him off, he will throw in medical expenses cover.
It didn't actually explain his reaction, shock yes but not the extra comments, he says he was running from feelings. The previous books Hero gets the chance to rib him constantly which is quite funny. He does really look after her and the twins.
HEA.

I read this one a while ago, but now that this Wattpad story is listed on GR, I decided to re-read it and give it an actual review.
Whew! Beard was such a fucking prick in this story. His actions made him super easy to hate. Emily was tough as nails though, and still very relatable and likable. I LOVED how Emily dealt with Beard, and refused to budge and inch when he showed up wanting her back again.
I wasn't sure that Beard would ever be able to redeem himself. I'm not sure there was a ton of grovel by him in this story, but he made up for his cruelty by all of his actions from that point on. There was a lot of genuine humor sprinkled into this story was well. This author has such a gift of turning these mean, prick Heroes around, and turning them into good guys that the readers want to root for. I did love Beard by the ending and I was happy to see these two finally get together as a couple for real, and finally get their deserved HEA.
2nd book. Quick wattpad read. MC Club older president who gets the doctor and bestie of first book surprise pregnancy. He denies it at first and treats her like shit.
**"You didn't tell me you were a doctor," he said abruptly, and I almost laughed. "Well, you didn't tell me you were a victim of arrested development and handled situations requiring maturity with all the panache of a drunken frat boy at his first party."** 😍
3.5✯
-dual POV -age gap (Emily is 39 and Beard is 60) -insta lust -> love -they were not in a serious relationship, even though they had feelings for each other they kept things casual -she's had a few relationships but he's never had a girlfriend -they'd been hooking up for 3 months when Emily found out she was pregnant -the drama: Emily showed up at the clubhouse and Beard did not like it, when she told him that she needed to tell him something in private he said she could say whatever she wanted right there in front of everyone, but before she could say anything he called 2 club girls and made them sit on his lap: "Trixie, Jade, have a seat," he called to two of the club girls as he patted his thighs. He was the Prez, he held power and he was hot. They came running to sit on his lap. "Go ahead." His dark blue eyes challenged me as Trixie and Jade looked at me with something between hostility and pity., when she told him that she was pregnant he told her that he wasn't interested in being a father at this stage of his life, Emily was taken aback of course, she knew that they were not in a committed relationship but she didn't expect that kind of indifference, she told him that she could give him more time to think about it but he told her that was his final decision: "Don't need time to think about something I have no interest in and never wanted. I'll send support for eighteen years if you prove paternity, but don't ask for or expect more from me because those checks will be the extent of my involvement.", and as if that were not enough the dumbass said this: "But to show you I'm not a complete asshole, if you come suck me off, I'll throw in medical expenses.", Emily's reaction was one of my favorite moments in the book, she acted like she was contemplating his offer then asked him if he was really going to keep his word and when he said yes she started walking towards him, at this point I thought oh oh what's she gonna do? but she didn't let me down 😏 he told her to unzip him as she kneeled before him, the dummy really thought she was going to blow him but when she took his dick out she squeezed his balls! LMAO this scene was so satisfying: 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 -it didn't take him long to realize that he'd fucked up, he wanted to talk to her and apologize but didn't know where to find her, (I loved that he never stopped looking for her), finally 4 months after his hissy fit one of his club brothers found her -both were celibate during the separation (Beard actually stopped whoring around since the first moment he saw Emily) -the groveling was satisfying, he never gave up even when Emily kept rejecting him, I loved that she didn't forgive him so quickly -even though Beard tried to explain to Emily why he had reacted the way he did, he took full responsibility for his actions, I really felt his remorse, I believed him when he said that Emily and their babies were his priority, that they came before the club and his brothers and that he would never cheat on her -secondary characters: I liked Emily's parents and Genny (she's the wife of one of Beard's club brothers, I think they have their own book), I also liked Beard's family especially his mom, but I really disliked the club girls, they don't appear much on the story and don't cause any drama but if I were Emily I wouldn't feel comfortable knowing that my husband interacts every day with girls he used to fuck, Emily never mentioned getting jealous but I still didn't like that they were always around -no cheating or scenes with OP -I loved Emily, she was strong and smart and although she was really attracted to him she didn't succumb to her baser instincts like so many other stupid spineless weak-ass heroines do as soon as the hero says he's sorry I hate those type of heroines -he got a 'Property of Emily' tattoo on his chest: -HFN ending -they get married (another one of my favorite scenes in the story was during the wedding, when he got to his knees and professed his love and loyalty for her in front of all the guests, I think he even shed a tear or two during his speech)

*won’t be rating these books (or at least some of them) just because I have no idea how I feel about them lol not used to reading books where the asshole gets the girl. Kudos to the author for making me rage out on all the guys in these stories. Can’t stand any of the guys but some get redeemed in my eyes*
Another dud for me, hopefully it won’t be like this the entire series.
I almost hate Beard more than I hate Burr. Hmm maybe it’s a tie. You would think he was 12 by the way he acted when she walks into his clubhouse wanting to talk. Being the POS he is, he calls over two club whores to sit in his lap and proceeds to tell Emily that she can tell everyone what she has to say. And his reaction when she said she was pregnant 😤 Rage inducing! But wait there’s more! He out of the kind of his ugly shriveled up heart, will pay her medical bills if she gives him a BJ right there in front of his entire MC. How swoon worthy is he 🤮 thank God she has a back bone and grabs him by the balls and twists. Hopefully she washed her hands as he is a VERY experienced manhoe 👀 Only thing he had going for him was the fact that he wasn’t with OW once he meets her.
He does more rage inducing things through out the book before the non existent grovel starts. Was not enough of it at all for me.
Apparently her cheating then grovel stories were good, read many of them but just didn’t clicked much with me. The way the author handled after cheating situations a bit repetitive and I don’t get it, all forgiven after the cheater went for therapy, many of those cheaters didn’t even need therapy, they’re cheating just because they can and have an easy access to it! 🙄🤪.
However this one is different, not a cheating story, mind you and very funny! 😂🤣. Also, the hero is 60 and the heroine is 40. What I found quite unbelievable, how on earth someone with a PhD ended up as a bikers prez? 😳🙈😂
Ooo yes! It’s a wonder what this author can do in so few chapters. I loved Emily. She was strong, confident, knew her worth, and didn’t take 💩 from anyone. Beard was the man-child that had no need to grow up till he was 60, but grow he did.
I liked how Beard interacted with Fabio. I liked the whole easiness between the characters, despite the muscled/bad boy vs geek/good person contrast.
well, well. for a dude in his 60, he is so stupid. and he think she desperate for him? huh, girl is a doctor. she have money, and own a house. she didnt need you. and when she decided to tell you about her pregnancy, you treat her like one of the whores you fucked. god. never find an old man this stupid. and i love her parent, they are funny haha.
Beard evolved a lot! Truthfully! But I think there was a good portion of his evolution missing! Like we needed more scenes of him changing and realizing his love. Because you don’t go from saying what you said to figuring out you’re in love. But good story nonetheless!

I laughed, I cheered, I want more like this. Emily and Beard are a sizzling couple, until his reaction to her pregnancy has her walking out, totally turning her back on him. Gonna take a lot of grovelling and time to get her back.
One of the better MC books. Emily actually had a back bone and didn’t need Beard. I don’t think he really did much to win her back. However, Emily’s parents with the MC. Club were a bit ridiculous .
MC club, actual adult fmc in her 40’s. Still an age gap with a silver fox type scenario. Decent story, cute redemption arc. No cheating involved which is a nice twist in MC books
So. After reading this twice I have some thoughts that I need to share. Beard was a TOTAL jerk face-idiot-turd blossom. But whoa! He did a COMPLETE 180 and made a big change. I had to laugh at how completely clueless he was though. And Emily was outstanding. TWIST!!!!
