So I didn’t like this book AT ALL!! And it wasn’t even because he kissed his ex gf. Did I hate that he did it? Yes. Did I hate even more that he used tongue and put his hands in her hair? Absolutely. But what ruined this book for me? It wasn’t the unnecessary baby drama, even though that didn’t make it better, but the fact that this man GAVE UP! In all the books I’ve read by this author not a single man has given up but Mason just threw in the towel because he didn’t want to hurt Sage anymore. This resulted in Sage having to be the one to go to him to fix their relationship since he gave up and nah I’m not here for that. Definitely the worst one of the bunch I’ve read.

He kissed his ex, but soon regretted it. But his ex started causing problems after problems. It took a lot for him to win back our heroine, but he persevered and they both found their happy ending. And I can say that revenge tasted sweet.

Happy reading folks. I love GroveltoHEA and they have surprised me by making MMCs do TERRIBLE things and have me forgive them with grovel. And y’all know how much I love grovel. There are so many things I’m against but they somehow manage to make it work. And even if I don’t forgive the MMC entirely, the stories are so well-written.

Note to self: while I’m enjoying these stories there is so much hype about this authors groveling heroes and I just don’t get it. Maybe I haven’t read the right book yet but I’m not over impressed with her groveling men.

Don’t get me wrong-they grovel but I think the hype was so much that I expect more 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ But when I commented that on one of her stories I got blocked by the author so I’m reading under my sisters Wattpad account and just keeping my thoughts to myself 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣


Again don’t misunderstand, this authors writing style is awesome and so easy to read and follow. The groveling is a me issue because I’m obsessed with the right grovel 🤓🙈

Found this author on Wattpad and have read most of her works. Like with this story, her character development, descriptions of the emotions involved in various situations and the angst are spot on. She is a believer in redemption but it must be earned and the work is hard and time consuming.

She is one of the best and her work is highly recommended.

Well I never thought I’d be reading about cheating and then seeing the couple get back together, that’s for sure lol I guess it wasn’t so bad as it was just kissing. Yes he had his tongue down her throat and was grabbing at her hair, but that’s as far as it went and it lasted like 10 seconds. OW (his ex) tries to start more drama that strains Sage and Masons relationship by saying he got her pregnant that night. We as readers know that’s not true as it was only a kiss, but Sage doesn’t know that. More drama ensues until we get our HEA.

Me personally, I’m not a forgiving person, even after all the groveling Mason does. I would have left him and never looked back after seeing that kiss. But you can truly see how wrong and sorry he felt. He will definitely never stop living that down even though Sage eventually forgives him. In my eyes he gets redeemed. At least it was just kissing and he realized what he was doing and shoved her away.

Four stars for the writing but this one actually annoyed me. Sage dragged out the drama way longer than necessary and, to be honest, she should have apologised to Mason after the whole fatherhood fiasco. Just my two cents.

I liked this book because it shows you how vicious and manipulative woman can be and men - Mason in this case are so naive. The timeline did seem very drawn out with the grovelling and the jail letters were a bit of a stretch but over all enjoyable.

It wasn't all that angsty to be honest, and his reasoning for kissing his ex just wasn't measuring up. Also, how men could be attracted to such a spiteful person is beyond me. The pettiness of the main characters in the end writing to the ow in jail was funny though.
