"Hello, I'm Brent Grammer, and I've embarked on an exciting journey with my debut book. While I may not have a shelf full of awards (yet!), I'm a dedicated storyteller, inspired by my love for creating worlds and adventures.
When I'm not weaving tales, I'm a proud partner and parent, cherishing every moment with my girlfriend and two amazing kids. In my free time, you might find me lost in the pages of sci-fi and fantasy novels, or gathered around a table, dice in hand, as I delve into the fantastical realms of Dungeons and Dragons (DnD).
I've always believed that laughter is the best magic in life, and I've infused a touch of humor into my writing, just like the laughter that fills our home.
Join me as we journey into uncharted realms, where imagination knows no bounds. I'm excited to share my worlds and adventures with you, and I hope they bring as much joy to your life as they have to mine."
3.5 rounded up There is a great story here filled with love, found family, sacrifice and betrayal. The characters are great and I enjoyed the brother and sister banter between Maggie and Jett. While reading I couldn't help but see nods to Star Wars which I loved. If the author is not a fan I would be surprised. I do think this could have used a bit more editing. There were scenes in the beginning with their Mother where I would have loved to go a bit deeper. More detail or dialogue in some of the scenes where tragedy happened or emotions would come into play. There was a lot of telling instead of actually showing. That being said, I enjoyed this book and am glad I read it.
Omega Revolution is a scfi novel by Brent Grammar. I really enjoyed this novel. It's definitely one for scfi fans. I loved following the young friends on their journey through the novel and their friendship. Brent's writing description is very good and you feel like you are in the novel. A brilliant novel that I highly recommend. ❤️ Thank you to Brent for my ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
It’s a solid 3.5 but I rounded up for the sake of the stars available on Goodreads. It’s very much Starwars meets magical teens vibes. I think it’s really hard to have any space stories and not have them be connected to Starwars somehow, but Brent did a great job making his own world and his own story here. There was sooo much explaining, something that did kind of take away from the story for me, like I was saying “get to the point” in a lot of scenes. I get that does world building though, and that may just be an annoying things I don’t like in books. I wish there was a bit more story behind the mom, it didn’t make sense to me that she just like, poofed her that early on, but I get that that adds to the tragedy. All in all it was a good story. If you like sci-fi I would recommend it.
This is obviously a story that has been a labor of love for the author and I am very glad to have been asked by the author to read this work. This is a very promising start to what will hopefully become quite the space epic series. The biggest problem I noticed was how some key dialogue or bits of information would be left out. I was usually able to make out what was missed, but it would make the story feel less disjointed or choppy. Otherwise it is a pretty solid piece of science-fiction and I very much hope to be able to read more of this story in the not too distant future.
Great story.. (5 stars)🌟 This book has a little of everything.. betrayal, fighting, love, humor, hope, and heartache. I finished it and then picked it back up and read it again. I am looking forward to Brent Grammer's next book!! 📚 This was definitely a great, must-read book for all Sci-Fi fans!!
Omega Revolution is a sci-fi debut novel by a new author Brent Grammer. This is based on some Interstellar systems. Jett and his sister Maggie with some other children are forced to join the Space Federation where they try to take down the tyrant Lord Chancellor Aris. With ups and downs this book was overall good. Can't wait to read the next volume. 4 stars 🌟
**Review: "Omega Revolution: The Experiment" - A Generous 2-Star Rating for a New Author**
I'm rating "Omega Revolution: The Experiment" a 2 out of 5, primarily because this is the work of a newer author. This eBook was provided to me free of charge in exchange for a fair and honest review. Despite my initial hopes for this science fiction novel, my reading experience was unfortunately disappointing.
From the outset, the book struggled with a narrative style that felt unpolished and amateurish. The story opens with an unconventional and heavy-handed method of world-building, which fails to naturally weave important information into the storyline. Main character Jett is introduced in a lifeless manner, and this lackluster introduction sets the tone for much of what follows.
As the plot develops, it becomes increasingly clear that the writing style lacks sophistication. The narration often takes precedence over dialogue and meaningful character interaction, pulling the reader out of the story rather than drawing them in. Additionally, the action, while increasing in frequency, does not compensate for the overall rushed and implausible progression of events.
The characters, both primary and secondary, suffer from a lack of development. They feel two-dimensional, with their actions and dialogues often coming across as forced and unrealistic. This is particularly evident in the portrayal of the antagonists, who resemble cartoonish villains rather than complex characters with understandable motives.
The narrative’s reliance on telling rather than showing persists throughout the book, and many scenes are described in a detached manner rather than being vividly portrayed. This issue is compounded by dialogue that is cringeworthy and lacks believability. The book's pacing is another concern; it moves too quickly, failing to allow moments of tension or development to fully mature.
The use of language in the book is repetitive, leading to speculation about the extent of AI assistance in its writing. This speculation is underlined by the vocabulary and structure, which often lack the nuanced touch of a human writer.
The plot's "twist" is predictable, offering little in the way of surprise or satisfaction. The ending is not so much a cliffhanger as it is an abrupt and confusing stop, leaving many questions unanswered and plot points unresolved.
In conclusion, while I appreciate the efforts of a new author and recognize the challenges in crafting a debut novel, "Omega Revolution: The Experiment" falls short in several key areas of storytelling, character development, and narrative engagement. For readers seeking a well-rounded science fiction experience, this book may not meet expectations.
I was contacted by the author and asked to consider reading this book. As a fan of sci-fi, fantasy and dystopian stories, I was happy to add it to my ‘to read’ list and had high hopes for the story.
I was initially intrigued by the theme; the world being created and the characters’ abilities. I am always excited for any new author who has the talent and tenacity to write and publish a book but over-all it did not engage me enough to immerse me in the story or connect with the characters.
Early on, I felt the writing style was more suited to a young adult audience and that carried through the entire book. At times the scenes felt rushed, at other times, they dragged.
Much of the story was written by explaining things vs. having the characters actually do things and this pulled me out of the story rather than immersing me in it. As a result, I had a hard time connecting to any of the characters. They felt flat, lacking depth or development.
I found the believability of some situations lacking, neither main character expressed much emotion over the death of their mother early in the book; Jett was more emotional over the death of someone he’d only known for a short time later in the book.
I found the twist in events predictable and the ending very abrupt. I assume this was to leave room for a second follow up book. Over-all a good attempt but I found it lacking.
Jett, Maggie, Zalen, Siren, Mr. E and yes even Rhyker will live rent free in my mind. I loved almost every part of this story (except for Syd's betrayal and their mother being murdered). Their adventure, their found family and their relentless pursuit of freedom was incredibly written. I cried when Lucia so coldly had their mother killed, her character was nothing short of cold and calculating. It hit home for me as Jett and Maggie grapple with losing their mother and then finding out their father was against them. Watching Jett take control of his emotions and fight to protect Maggie was endearing. My heart raced right alongside them as they battled against the Space Federation and proceeded to shatter into a million pieces by the end.
Although Rhyker betrayed them, I still really liked his character. Let's be honest, if it was our sibling or loved one in danger we'd all do the same (at least I would).
Sci-fi books have never been high on my list of genres to read, but I am happy I came across this book on Kindle as a recommendation because it is an amazing story. Far beyond being sci-fi it is a story of love, of hope and determination.
I'll be looking forward to more work from Brent Grammer, anyone who gives this book a chance will be pleasantly surprised (just like I was).

Brent Grammer reached out to me and asked me if I would like to read his book. I have been wanting to get into sci-fi, so this was the perfect opportunity! I bought his book.
Brent Grammer is a self published Sci-fi and fantasy author. "Omega Revolution: The Experiment" is Grammer's debut book. He is currently working on a new fantasy series, which I will also be purchasing once it is published.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I am so impressed. Grammer has managed to create an incredible new universe where his main character, Jett, and his sister Maggie reside.
After a failed experiment by the Space Federation, major solar flares from the sun destroyed hundreds of planets and stars, and humans and aliens alike are forced to relocate among the stars. However, the Space Federation has managed to regain its control over the cosmos. And now, a new experiment is taking place. Jett and Maggie band together with other rebels to take down the Space Federation. But an unlikely character is the only one in their way.
Grammer uses incredible descriptions and details in his work. His characters are unique, and diversity shines through. He has created a brilliant sci-fi plot of resilience and hardship with clear action and an end goal.
Overall, I give it 4 stars. I noticed a maximum of 4 grammatical errors, which were hard to catch, but still there. And, there is always room for improvement.
There is a lot to love about this book! I particularly loved the relationship between siblings Maggie and Jett. Their sibling banter felt very genuine. I also appreciated the fast pace of the novel. I didn't notice a lot of lag in the story, which was nice!
I do wish there was a bit more editing involved for punctuation errors and formatting inconsistencies, as well as some larger issues. My biggest concerns were the undeveloped characters and infodumping about the world when that could have been shown to us instead of told through dialogue. Since so much information was given through dialogue, the way characters spoke to each other felt inauthentic at points. However, despite these issues, I enjoyed this indie novel a lot!
