Shall We Not Revenge

Rate this book
Neither Hermione Granger nor Draco Malfoy appreciate being betrayed. It only makes sense to team up for revenge. It doesn’t make sense for them to fall in love.

A fake relationship story, just for fun!

“If you prick us, do we not bleed? if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison us, do we not die? And if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?” - William Shakespeare

We don’t rate fanfiction in this house because it is HELLA DISRESPECTFUL to these authors that do this for free in their free time.

I'd give this a 4.5 star. This was a really fun read, I love a fake dating trope and I really enjoyed watching Draco and Hermione fall for each other while seeking revenge on some ass hats. I loved the found family in the fic, it was really sweet the way that everyone in Hermione's life stuck up for her after what happened with Ron, even his family. I appreciated that Harry was able to try and be there for both of them, but didn't let Ron get away with his bad behavior. Watching Pansy, Hermione, and Ginny all become besties was such a fun time.

The characters in this were really fun, Ginny was a chaos demon and I loved it. Pansy was hilarious, haughty but with a soft side. I loved her and Draco's friendship, it was really sweet and funny. I also really loved Hermione's and George's relationship, at first I didn't know how to feel about the Fred stuff but I think I really liked it in this story. I thought that the description of Harry and Hermione being each other's chosen family is probably one of my favorite depictions of their relationship. Ron was a dick, definitely a character assassination but he had some redemption. My favorite though was that Draco and Hermione really became friends before it turned romantic, there was definitely some lusting but really you watched them fall for each other as people.

This was just a heartwarming sweet shorter fan fic that I really had a good time reading.

Eh… it was definitely no Manacled but I did enjoy the 90s rom com of it. I also enjoyed the lightness of it. I read it pretty fast, there were some sections my hopeless romantic self loved, and I definitely learned I’m not an extra spicy girlie lol I don’t need that in a story, or have it so in my face to enjoy it. I thought some of those paragraphs were immature and just could have been a lot more tasteful instead of tactless? Idk… her writing is immature at times but then sometimes the immaturity worked. It wasn’t bad, just wasn’t great! It would make a cute movie idea though?

this was a nice before to bed short read where I got angst and tension. Obviously love Draco in here and also I have heard about the Fred and Hermione ship but I haven't read anything of it or even a dramione book that mentions it so it was interesting.

It was short and cute. I hated Ron he def did not deserve forgiveness and also Fred and Hermione together was weird but wtvr. I was so glad their miscommunication only lasted like .5 seconds because I hate that trope. Narcissa's nickname for Draco was a little weird, too.

Dans l'ensemble l'histoire était bien et très rapide à lire.

Gros bémol : la banalisation de la consommation d'alcool !
Cest vraiment abusé la façon dont l'alcoolisme est mis en avant comme banale dans cette histoire..

This was a light read with a cute plot line. I was very much reminded of 90’s RomCom. If you want angsty and dark then this might not be for you. I enjoyed that it was a quick read with a happy ending.

This was light and sweet. The little conflict was a bit annoying and how they got back together after Draco said his feelings.

I love a good Ron Weasley bashing fic but this wasn’t it. The writing and characters fell flat. I give the writer credit for writing a complete story- this just didn’t work for me.

This was such a cute fan fic! Loved the idea of Hermione and Draco fake dating and then falling in love. The angst is great and with a sweet happily ever after!
