Grandparents live by a few rules. For example, spoil the grandchildren just enough to not get in trouble with the parents. Also, you CANNOT disappoint your grandchildren.
The third in a series, this time Papa is putting David to bed around the Christmas holidays. Again, David asks his grandfather to make up a story... rather than reading one. David picks a topic with a Holiday theme. Elves! The duo's imagination comes up with a unique tale about children's behavior... both good and bad.

Elves is a delightful story for children during the Christmas season. At bedtime David asks for a story about elves. His grandfather begins one about the time he met an elf wearing black, a coal elf. After David falls asleep, he finishes the story in his dreams. I love that the child uses his imagination and learns a lesson about the consequences of being naughty while sleeping. The love between the grandfather and grandson shines throughout the story.

This such a cute little story!! Perfect story to read to your littles especially during the holidays season. David uses his imagination and his grandpas story to learn a lesson of consequences when you might do something naughty with cute little elves to help! This is a light and fun read for kids, and parents to read together with their littles!

What a wonderful story for children during the Christmas holidays. Teaching a valuable lesson through a young boy and his imagination with elves. The lovely illustrations add to the story.
