Sebastian Hutchinson is a grumpy billionaire trying to keep everyone at arm's length. With a company that needs some better guidance, and his parent’s dream hanging in the balance he doesn’t have time for distractions. That all changes the minute he meets a sunshine girl with hideous shoes who has a panic attack in an elevator with him. He gets sucked in, desperate to know more. Poppy Thatcher is a sunshine girl who always sees the best in everything despite suffering from crippling anxiety and frequent panic attacks. Starting her new job is a big deal and she definitely doesn’t have time for romance but when she meets him that all changes. He’s her employer. Her boss. But he becomes her strength and her pain.
Their love is one they can’t deny no matter how hard they try - but when forces try to pull them apart will their love survive or will it destroy them both.
Absolutely loved it! The writers highlighted so many real life situations and how you can feel as the characters dealing with different anxieties. I couldn’t put the book and down and I am excited for the next waterside book!
I loved how there was an actual story and not just complete spice. I have fallen deeply in love with Sebby!
such a good book! i felt every emotion throughout and enjoyed feeling every single one even if it was heartbreak at times. Sebastian is definitely added to my long list of book boyfiends and im sure his friends definitely will too😏 and to top it all off it ended in such a good way that had me desperately wanting the next one in the series!
I loved this book so much. I loved the chemistry that Sebastian and Poppy had throughout this whole book. It made me laugh and kick my feet in the air like a little girl but I loved it so much. I would definitely recommend. I will be doing a reread soon I loved it so much
