A new series from the author of The Quest for the Diamond Sword. Will Noah and Violet protect an enchantment book to save the Overworld?

Currently a freebie on Audible, The Secret Treasure, is a children’s story geared towards Minecraft fans. It’s just ok as a story goes. I don’t see it making any kind of lasting impression. However, that’s not always the point in reading or listening to books. Sometimes the point is just a little escape from reality or a fun way to pass the time on a car ride. On those points, The Secret Treasure, fits the bill.
The plot is the rainbow griefers took over Violet and Noah,s village and these rainbow griefers are treating it badly and Noah and Violet are trying to free it from Danial and his evil griefer army. The setting is in a forest being chased by rainbow griefers. The conflict starts when Violet and Noah find a chest in a cave when there running from the rainbow griefers. THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! and compared to the other books in this series this one is probably the right in the middle of it. The best book is number 6 in the series.

I enjoyed this book because I like treasure. I also enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Violet, Noah, Ben, Angela, and the townspeople finally destroyed the Rainbow Griefers and Daniel. I also enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Violet, Noah, and Angela changed their skins to Rainbow skins to trick the Rainbow Griefers.
The review of an almost 10 year old says this one was a bit different in the adventures. He liked it and remembered enough of it to get a 90% on the AR test. Good story. He now wants to read ALL of Winter Morgan's stories. This is our 7th of the stories. We think we may have gotten out of order though. I am going to investigate.
started this series as a read aloud to my kids since they like some of Winter Morgans other books. they enjoyed it and there was plenty of action. their only disappointment was the lack of Steve in the book
Giving 5 stars because my little brother who never reads has been captivated by this series. It has a lot of action as Noah, Violet, and their friends fight to save their town from Daniel and the rainbow griefers
This series is great. Two warriors in minecraft have to face, fight and win against leagues of greifer. It is a great book for minecrafter age 7-18 I highly recommend this book if you like and play minecraft
Why do so many people like this book? I don't want to be offensive to the author but it was incredibly lame and seems like it was written for a 5 year old Minecraft noob, BY a five year old Minecraft noob. It was also very unrealistic. For example, at one point Violet used a potion of harming on a horde of zombies (splash potions of harming heal undead and healing ones do damage) and a griefer got killed by zombies even though he had a diamond sword. What?! Also, Violet is just carrying Noah at the start. Violet is a master architect and fighter, while Noah is too scared to even do anything. Last of all, WHY DOES DANIEL NEED PEOPLE TO CRAFT SWORDS FOR HIM?!?! Anyone can place the right materials in the right positions on a crafting table! Overall, I think this book is just lame and unrealistic and there are lots of flaws in it. (Not to say that all Minecraft books are bad - I recommend Diary of an Eight-bit Warrior, the Elementia Chronicles, and Escape from the Overworld.)
Minecraft is back but being taken over. The author of "The Secret Treasure" is Winter Morgan. An effective literary element is adventure. They go around there village trying to stop the "rainbow grievers". Another literary element is mystery. What is so bad about the rainbow grievers and what is their history? The final literary element is humor. All of the friends make a few jokes here and their like when they get a dog they said "they was dogsome". So if you want to know the rest read the book.
I read this book with my 9 year old son, who had read it a couple of times before. I really thought the story line was flimsy and could have either been wrapped up much more quickly, or it could have been fleshed out a bit more. I have it two stars instead of just one because the writing was at least grammatically correct, if not scintillating; also the fact that my son enjoys it enough to keep reading it again and again gives it some credibility, in my opinion.
An easy read for the Minecraft fan who enjoys battling with griefers. Filled with non-stop violence and quick action scenes that simulate game play. I found it torturous to read but Mincecraft fans love this author and all of his Minecraft series books. A good way for adults to gain an understanding of the players and tools both good and evil within Minecraft.
This was a great book because Violet and Noah meet these people were trying to survive also like noah and violet and violet, noah, ben and hannah team up to fight and defeat the griefers and daniel the boss of the griefers. Daniel takes over almost every village accept one, the griefers take the people that they find with no weapons to their jail like a jail.
