The authorized biography of Steve Marriott who was the lead singer for the Small Faces and Humble Pie. An honest and sometimes brutal biography. A singer so talented that he was the first choice to sing for both Led Zeppelin and Bad Company but turned them both down. His issues with drugs and alcohol made him quite the volatile person. As Steve and Humble Pie get increasingly famous, Steve gets more and more out of control with cocaine, heroin, booze, and his own kind of crazy and paranoia. The book follows him all the way to his death in a house fire.
