With his skills improving by leaps and bounds, as well as a growing circle of companions, Zeha feels like he’s settling nicely into the role of a Beom hunter. But he gets a harsh reality check when the team discovers a vast underground lair where the Beom have been taking the innocent people they’ve kidnapped. Zeha and his friends have no clue about the purpose of this facility, but the hellish scenes of death and torment they witness make it clear that the Beom invasion is far bigger and more malicious than anyone could have imagined. After an intense battle with the guards, they prepare to lead the captives out to safety…until a familiar foe joins the fray―Bulti is here, and now it’s personal!
The story is fun, and I don’t have to think about lot while reading it. That being said, it doesn’t excite me as much as most of the manhua I read. Still, I’m going to keep reading cause it’s an easy read.
Rounding up from 2 stars because the scene where the elevator door opens to the beom and they’re all armed with weapons is gonna live rent free in my head.
[4.5] Prometo que mi juicio no se ve afectado por el hecho de que me guste BTS y la apariencia de los personajes.
Ahora bien, admito sin vergüenza que Zeha me gustó más en su forma de beom que en su forma humana. And that is my conclusion.
Just kidding...
Las escenas de acción y la animación de los dibujos son un chef kiss. Los plot twist sobre quién es el verdadero villano y el FINAL DEL WEBCOMIC. A W E S O M E.
I like that the plot of this series is starting to pick up and though there are many characters, I think we are at the point where it is less of an introduction to each and more of character development and more backstory, so it is nice now. It doesn't feel like there is an overwhelming amount of information that we still need to get, so instead it feels like sitting back and watching everything unfold and seeing how the group that has joined together is going to defeat the beom. I'm interested to see if the people we think are dead actually are and if any of the seven will get an actual happy ending.
Ok, I was completely wrong on V's character. This volume was better but the writing still suffers. I feel like Hybe has enough money to hire better writers. Again, the concept and artwork is cool. The writing is just really surface level. I do love the 7 people fated together and that they all shared the past life in one being. That's cool and very BTS coded.

The plot gets more interesting! And the plot twist in the end of this volume, oh my gosh! Also, here, I could definitely tell it is V's character from the book cover.
Zeha (modeled on Jungkook) is growing into his talents as a Beom Hunter. He is also finding a much-needed brotherhood in deity guardian Haru (Jimin), former arms-dealer Do-geon (RM), national archer Hwan (Jin) who is searching for his kidnapped baby sister, Jooan (V), the hunter who fell in love with a Beom, and Cein (Suga), who was eaten by a Beom but survived the ghastly experience with an unexpected weapon at his disposal.
Even as they try to protect the city of Sin-si from the rampant Beom attacks, they come across a shocking secret deep in the basement of a popular department store. As their combined skills and tenacity are put to the test while they battle a never-ending army of Beom, what will happen when they come across the nefarious and indefatigable Bulti himself?
And who is the last person to complete their circle in order to fully realize their powers and unlock their lofty legacy?
All this and much more in Vol.3 of CHAKHO. The storyline is fun, intense, and predictable. But I am here for my Bangtan Boys and their avatars, and as always, they don’t disappoint. It’s a lot of fun to see their personalities mirrored in their inspired-characters, and the plot progression is solid enough to keep even a Non-ARMY sufficiently invested.
