Thanks to the bond between Blondina and Amon, humans and divine beasts are growing closer than ever before. Though there are some long-standing stereotypes on either side, the leaders of both factions are optimistic for a harmonious future. However, at the very banquet held to celebrate their budding friendship, disaster strikes...
I love the pastel colours and flower designs in this series 🥰 It’s dragging a bit, and I mainly read for the Amon x Briddy moments but I look forward to the ending…

Blondina, a princess born from a person the Emperor once loved but had to let go of is found one day and is being raised in a separate palace where she is mostly neglected by her two siblings (a princess & a prince born by the Empress). The Emperor loves all his children but is neglectful of Blondina's life and development as she is a illegitimate child. However, Blondina becomes friends with a lovely black cat like creature who can speak and understand her. The cat is revealed to be the future King of his kind, who can shapeshift to be a man.
Rest is History ;) oops! I mean story :)
Review: Funniest thing at the start is the name of the FL. But as we go on reading the Manhwa further, it is much more fun. The story development, character development & the family bonding with blossoming love story is just great.
Read it for: the love of Manhwa, Romance, Fantasy-adventures.
In Summary A grand ball to celebrate the treaty between humans and divine beasts! An engagement between Princess Blondina and Amon, Lord of Beasts! It could almost be a fairytale ending… except Adellai’s still plotting Blondina’s ruin. While Blondina’s and Amon’s romantic feelings are finally made clear to everyone (including Blondina), the conflict between sisters is destined to continue on to the next volume.
The Review The lion’s share of Volume 6 is taken up by the lead-up to, the events of, and the aftermath of the celebration of the peace treaty between divine beasts and humans. Balls and banquets are human customs, so the initial scenes are a comedy routine of Lucy struggling to persuade Amon to trouble himself to learn courtly etiquette and the lessons that follow. Amid the humor, Blondina finds herself insecure about Amon’s affection for her. At the same time, she keeps thinking of him as her “little kitten.” I found both lines of thinking irritating, especially the “little kitten” part. At this point, Amon’s saved her life a couple of times, helped her deal revenge to the abusive innkeepers, aided her in intimidating Adellai, and has gotten super handsy with her multiple times. All that should’ve shattered her “my adorable little kitty” image of him a long time ago.
Fortunately, the ball puts an end to her weird denseness. The divine beast guests are blunt in telling Blondina they expect a child to come from her union with Amon. If that isn’t enough to get Amon’s intentions through her thick skull, he does indeed propose to her at the party and had the foresight to coordinate with the Emperor to use the ball to publicly announce their engagement. Thus, Amon/Blondina fans get both a moment of romantic intimacy when he pops the question and the congratulations of friends and family for their upcoming nuptials.
Then, Amon makes his feelings and intentions crystal clear for his fiancée when he “imprints” on her after the party.
However, all is not love and happiness in this arc. Adellai uses the ball’s masquerade theme as a chance to test Joseph’s influence over the divine beasts and stir up trouble. Meanwhile, the Emperor continues in his Suckiest-Dad-Ever role in being completely oblivious to how his thoughtless treatment of his children might jeopardize the new treaty he’s counting on to ensure his people’s security.
Amid all these events, Blondina dreams dreams that appear to be inherited memories. It’s unclear whether they are due to her bloodline or because of her intimacy with Amon. Either way, these episodes shed new light on the conflict between the god Barahan and the divine beasts even as a new conflict threatens to break out at Adellai’s hands.
By the way, the font formatting for the inherited memory scenes is inconsistent, so it gets confusing as to which dialogue belongs to which character.
While I did like the lower that was dropped, and I am glad they’re finally getting somewhere with this plot, I am kind of annoyed that they dragged this questioning of a relationship out these six volumes. We should’ve had a conversation or two ago when they first kissed.
*SPOILERS* I really like the edition of Blondina’s dreams and how they’re used to drop lore. However, at the beginning of this book, she’s still questioning what her and Amon are to each other(kind you were on volume six out of eight published).
One of the divine beasts brings up what her and Amons children would look like and she thinks” Plus, Amon and I aren’t in a relationship, hmm or are we? Are we a relationship? I mean, friends know kiss each other-…” like come on he’s clearly told you how much she cares about you. Then like 10 to 15 pages later, he asks you to marry him and say yes right away. I feel like her questioning the relationship was put there just to drag the romance plot out longer. I feel like they should’ve had some sort of talk at the beginning of this book.
Briddy is still rather naive when it comes to her relationship with Amon, but she has at least some clearer ideas since the engagement. If nothing else, Amon has been a lot more obvious in his intentions, leading to him being called a perverted beast more often than not. These dreams (or possible memories?) are an interesting turn of events, especially when we see how similar these past beings resemble Briddy and Amon in their current forms. While Briddy is naive when it comes to romance, it seems she's right on the nose when it comes to her sister's intentions and what the actions at the ball might really mean. Leaving it off on a cliff hanger at the end of this one, especially with Amon searching out the Elder who was last seen just after the ball. Could be storm clouds brewing instead of the peace most of them had hoped for.

As always, I'm a huge fan of the artwork in this series. It's beautiful.
I liked the progression of the story, and was glad that it mostly focused on Briddy and Amon. My issue with the last volume was that I felt it put more focus on Adellai than Briddy and Amon. For suspense and plot progression, I can understand the shift, I just felt the last volume didn't have a good balance where this one did.
To avoid spoilers, I'll simply say that Part 19 was my absolute favorite. Can't wait to see what happens in Volume 7!
pleasantly surprised at how smoothly the proposal went! i think i have too much experience with reading romances that stretch the oblivious stage past all reasonable limits. the past life reveal was interesting too
Lore drop!! Pretty interesting to see that Barahan isn't all he was cracked up to be, but also makes me worried for the divine beasts if they no longer have much magic/power on their side.
