“STARTING TODAY, I’M GOING TO ASK YOU OUT EXACTLY THREE TIMES.”
Jieum has finally reunited with Seoha, but picking up where they left off isn’t as simple as just asking him out. So she hands him an ultimatum: She gets three chances, and if he rejects her each time, she’ll give up! When an opportunity to meet with Seoha outside work hours arises, she realizes that Juwon’s death has affected him more than she expected. To make things more complicated, the closer she gets to Seoha, the more entangled she becomes with the people from her previous life―which can only spell trouble! With Seoha’s trauma preventing him from moving forward and Jieum’s own fear of telling him the truth holding her back, how will she get him to open up to her?
I continue to be VERYYYYY invested in this story and the FL continues to have one of my favorite personalities ever. There's a special sort of wittiness AND jadedness — both of which come with the fact that she has so much life experience.
This manga has a different feeling than anything else I've read. It has a slow pace, which is why I didn't go through the first time around, because waiting for the episodes was not a big thrill, but its insightfulness is something that can be grasped only by reading it all at once ❤️ The MFC is a whole mood, and the thing I remembered this by despite having read only a few episodes years ago. The concept of being reborn is something that in our Western culture is not used/talked/thought much but definitely something I find really intriguing.
I'm glad I stuck around for volume two. Jieum's slightly off-putting personality is growing on me, and makes sense in the context of her many lives and deaths. She's at the point where she's going to do what she wants with no shame. I think she's underestimating the trauma Seoha is dealing with, so hopefully she'll be able to more fully see him for who he is now and not just how she remembers him.
This series still continues to surprise me with how emotionally invested I get when reading. It's like I don't just feel ONE emotion, but I'll feel happiness, sadness, anger, playfulness, desperation (which isn't technically an emotion but let's go with it anyway LOL), and a few others, leaving me doing a full-blown binge read!
It's surprising to me because while this has the familiar vibe of rich guy x witty heroine in a business setting from a few other series I've read, it still feels refreshingly different?
Someone mentioned how there is a wittiness and jadedness in this series because of Jieum's life experiences and I think that's really true. It has a "maturity" (for the lack of a better word) to this story that gives it depth, especially when I think of the scene in one of the earlier chapters of this volume of how Seoha is still caught up in the past and can't move on. There is heartache and heartbreak there, but also hope starting to bloom, even if he would say he wants nothing to do with Jieum. LOL!
While I LOVE how Jieum KNOWS who Seoha is and were waiting for him to finally know this is the girl he's loved for so long, it has been exciting seeing how Jieum's "rules" from her past lives being broken. She's still wanting to pursue Seoha and she is interacting and engaging with her family, despite that she feels she shouldn't. She seems thrown off by these things and I like how it's not just Seoha who feels off balance because it makes me invested in this story as a whole and not just for the romance.
Though goodness! I AM SO DESPERATE FOR THEM TO JUST GET TOGETHER! I had to tell myself to take it easy and enjoy the adventure as it gets there because I don't want to be so caught up about a future event that I'm not enjoying what I'm reading now. LOL!
I think it will take some work on my part, but I am still loving this series! I am eagerly looking forward to the next volume releasing!
✨Writing a grouped review as I started reading this series a few months ago and read it over a few months. I do not remember the specifics of each specific volume apart from the overarching story and specific ratings for each volume.✨
This is my first Manwha which I read on webtoon for free. I enjoyed the art style a lot, it’s relatively simplistic but fits the story and vibe well.
Ji-eum is honestly an utter mood in this series. Very relatable and funny FMC. This is quite an emotionally heavy series where I found myself crying on multiple occasions. It explores themes of grief and trauma well and with nuance.
Would highly recommend. Though I’ve heard the K-drama doesn’t do it justice which is just sad.
Don't let that cover mislead you. This is a sweet romance, and it doesn't even start in this volume.
See you in my 19th life
Is getting a Korean show adaptation in June, and that's why I picked up this manhwa (graphic novel)
I really enjoyed the pacing, characters, and the art. I have not finished the series yet, but so far, I really like it.
Synopsis: "Ban Ji-eum is a girl who has been repeating her life through reincarnation for nearly a thousand years and can remember all her past lives. After her eighteenth life is cut short due to a tragic accident, she decides to reconnect with the people of her past life in her nineteenth one."
I squealed like a little girl reading this. Not even going to lie - the chemistry was getting to me way too much. I'm also loving the supporting characters so much and I can't wait to see what happens to them during the last two parts. I'm so excited to see what the k-drama adaptation of this webtoon will look like because I need them to give me all the feels, all the romance and all the humour just like the original does.
The story is moving too slowly. It feels like little happened in this volume, though I am still enjoying where the story is going. I liked the developing storylines for the secondary characters. Because our main characters continue to be a bit of a bore. There just doesn't seem to be much spark. It feels like they are two sad people who like each other because they are both sad and good at their jobs. It would be nice to see these characters laugh or enjoy a moment for once.
The secondary characters, Chowon and Doyoon, are way more interesting to me at this point.
the thing with me whenever i read a webtoon that happens to have 2 couples in it, i ALWAYS dig in the second couple. always. this got more interesting whenever i get a sneak peek of doyoon and chowon lolll although seoha and jieun are also pretty cute!!! and i love how straightforward and outspoken jieun is <3333 (and maybe chowon. they're sisters after all i love them)
I JUST WANT TO READ THE WHOLE THING RIGHT NOW!!! I love this book so much, I was going to wait until it came out as the physical book, but I couldn't so I read it all yesterday, and even though I know that happens, I love it so so much and don't want to stop reading. I can't wait to read the next volume.
3.5⭐️ this is a slow slow burn, but I’m enjoying how the author is fleshing out the characters and storyline. I kinda wish Seoha and Jieum were in middle or high school when the tragedy happened bc it would feel more realistic for him to be so caught up on her compared to his 9 year old self, but that’s just imo.
A refreshing new type of story. Beautifully illustrated and written. The characters are well rounded and honestly my favorite read in a while. The balance of drama, action, humor and romance really pulls me in every time!
As I’ve said before the concept is really cool. Her meeting the guy again in her 19th life but him not knowing it yet, is so much fun to read. I must say that it is slow paced but I really don’t mind it
There's cameo Hana n seon( a good day to be dog)especially their kids. Mc girl give him hints so mc guy should figure out own his own. - today is his second hint "let's get marry". There's more to it - jium met mc guy at the bench when they're were young.

Aish..necesito que Webtoon me permita tomar captura de pantalla, los pequeños momentos de duda y romance son lo mejor 😌✨😍 esto se ve al cliché "ella se enamoró primero pero él lo hizo más fuerte" y amamos💙
I am already in love with the four characters who are important to the story but I especially love how MMCs trauma has been dealt with. Usually I find graphic novels rushing past these things, mostly making it an off the page thing so this is quite impressive.
Este estuvo buenísimo. Como ya dije, me ha gustado el KDrama cuando lo vi y ahora que leo el manhwa también está muy genial, la historia es súper interesante y la verdad los protagonistas me caen bien.
