When “puck bunny” Izzy catches her kinda-boyfriend in a delicate position, she’s crushed—into the arms of three of his teammates also eager for revenge.
As an omega hiding for 28 years, I’ve spent months working toward either a wife card or an impromptu bond with the Addevale Cannon’s pro-hockey captain. He’s the only person with enough prestige, connections, and resources to escape the Admin’s control.
Imagine my surprise to walk into a dive bar bathroom and find him indisposed with my nemesis.
Fueled by rage and panic, I grabbed the first three guys in jerseys for revenge—and it worked like a charm. Bobby Vinson, Mason LaMille, and Trick Wyatt had no problem letting me smear my lipstick all over them to set off Brad’s jealousy and competitive drive to win me back.
We schemed to goad Captain Brad into taking his responsibilities more seriously, both to me and to the team. We never expected that becoming their “live-in beta bunny” would upend the board in our game of revenge.
Fans of sassy, sweeter omegaverse will love this tale of revenge, fake dating, will they/won’t they tension, forced proximity, and finding your home and pack. HEA guaranteed and no cliff-hangers in sight.
Did I love this book? Yes! - Omegaverse - Hockey Romance - Fake dating - Revenge plot
And all of it executed perfectly! I stayed up past 2am to finish and I can confidently say it will be worth being exhausted later today. More of a review to come once I have had a little bit of sleep! ♥️
ARC Review; I loved this book and the characters, the actual hockey terms, EVERYTHING. This book was honestly a great joy to read and I'm glad I picked this one. It's a great story with an adorable and sweet plot. I loved all the guys and Jolie. This story definitely something I recommend picking up if you enjoy Omegaverse hockey read, especially if you want actual hockey terms included. I felt that was a great touch and brought this entire story together. Reading through it, was a breeze and felt like nothing.
please note that the trigger warnings and topes/themes may contain spoilers I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. HEA: HEA POV: multi 1st person POV spice: several open-door spicy scenes TWs: bullying, cheating (undefined relationship), death is a family member (recounted), drugging, gaslighting, manipulation, OW drama (not MCs), slut shaming, social hierarchy (ABO), violence Kinky Content: anal, anal play, biting, breeding kink, c0ck warming, double penetration, edging, finger licking good, fingering, knotting, manhandling, MFM, MFMM, “one more”, oral, praise, sexting, somnophilia, spanking standalone: yes final thoughts: this book starts out with some really great notes and definitions for readers who are new, unfamiliar, or need a refresher on omegaverse terms and storylines. The 3 MMCs had such great different personalities so it was easy to figure out who was interacting in each scene. I was hesitant with this book because of the usually negative connotation that goes along with puck bunnies, but it completely worked in this book! Yes, the FMC is a puck bunny, but we get a backstory and reasoning that make sense within this world. This book was full of great tropes, characters, twists, and plot points. This was my first book by this author, and I’d be interested in reading more from them!

“How are you feeling after your session? If you’re sad, my shoulders are free for you to rest your thighs on.”
Pretty straightforward OMV. The story was entertaining and I liked most of the characters. Would have rated it higher if the FMC hadn't been dead set on still going with the other alpha even 70% into the book, but to be fair, none of them were communicating well, so she didn't know her guys would even be an option. They also didn't communicate well with each other.
There's OW drama, but it's not with OW of her alphas, it's with OW of her ex. And her ex creates OM drama.
The grovel was just okay, but I also think they all overreacted because they didn't communicate so in a way, they shouldn't have even needed grovel, so it's kind of moot.
The stuff the Admin put her through was interesting. I've read all different kinds of overbearing government/agency involvement in OMV, but this is the first time it's been presented in exactly this way. Using her omega instincts and reactions against her while calling it therapy, basically. Pretty fresh. I almost wish we got to see more of it because it fascinated me (in a wow, I could see this really happening way, not in a I-support-that way).

I loved this so much more than I thought I would. I wasn't sure how to feel about the blending of sports romance and an omegaverse but it was done really well
I loved that izzy was independent and protected by her alphas and I loved the mystery around the admin… definitely want a book that goes into that dystopian nightmare
If you pick this bookup you really won't regret it
*I received an advance reader copy for free, and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.* I throughly enjoyed reading this book! I couldn’t put it down! It was a little confusing but I was able to figure out what was going on, there were a couple times that the author skipped ahead and had my head spinning. That being said, the spice was spicing and the plot plotting and that’s all this small town girl could ask for! Justice for Puck Bunnies gave a different perspective to hockey romances and I LOVED that. May or may not feel a little bad for the puck bunny universe after this.
I read a lot of omegaverse and the thing that seems consistent is the whatever supervisory agency is in charge of "helping" omegas seems flawed, if not corrupt. That fact informs Izzy's motives in clinging to the NHL Cannons captain, Brad, as her golden ticket. Though it's obvious from the outset that he's more of a tarnished ticket. Despite being somewhat trapped, even posing as a beta, Izzy has some self-respect. This is how she ends up getting involved with 3 of his teammates. From the reader perspective, it's obvious that Trick, Vin and Mason could be everything she wants and needs, if only they could get it together. But Izzy, frustratingly, keeps clinging to her plan. (A good story makes you FEEL and I just wanted to scream at Izzy to see what's in front of her.) I really enjoyed seeing the three guys work on the development of their relationships. But, this doesn't mean that it's smooth sailing to get to the HEA-and I really liked the twists it took to get there! I also appreciated that Izzy was forced to face her fears and deal with the things she'd been so afraid of. That fact redeemed her character for me. The fact that I really despised Brad is also a testament to author skill (it's not easy writing a character that the reader hates without making him evil)! Overall, an Omega hiding as a Beta isn't uncommon, but I liked the new approach of her taking charge, or trying, of her destiny.

So this book was all over the place. There really wasn’t a ton of world building and there’s absolutely nothing that endears us to the fmc. She has one good friend, no relationship with her family and we have no real reason to be worried about the “big bad”. The fmc was obnoxiously stubborn, which made her wildly unlikeable. The ending was slightly off putting, just didn’t care for it overall. Author has potential and I could see myself trying it again.
This book was a bit all over the place. I liked certain aspects of it, but others just dragged and it took me weeks to finish it.
To start, I don't consider her a puck bunny. To my way of thinking, a puck bunny sleeps with any hockey player for the status - this one was in a quasi-relationship where he slept around, but she was loyal to him until she caught him cheating. We never heard about her sleeping with anyone else on the team, so the title was already a misnomer. After she catches Brad cheating, she makes a deal with the pack to make him jealous and have him crawling back to her.
The problem was, like I said, it was all over the place. He's still going out with other girls and trying to get her back at the same time. She's hung up on him only because she thinks he's her only option and, after a while, it started to feel icky because she'd already fallen for the pack while stringing along the cheater and seemingly wanting to get back with him just because he was an alpha of strength for the government agency.
I never really got how she could trust him in even the tiniest shred of a way. She's willing to bond with him and let him continue sleeping around because it's the better option...then we eventually have a tiny glimpse of the Admin to see that they monitor omegas and let them choose from courting packs. While I'm not a fan of the government interference type of books, this was a mild part of the plot, but I was shaking my head and wondering what she had been so scared of that she was willing to bond with a creep for life just to avoid being given a choice of a ton of possible matches.
Izzy irritated me in general. I didn't hate her, so she doesn't get my "Heinous Heroine" tag, but I didn't connect with her. I really liked her in the beginning when she catches Brad cheating and then immediately gets revenge. But then she becomes a wishy washy doormat. We hear about how she's insecure, but never see it. She's not a great friend, she's obsessed with a douche, she doesn't see that the pack is a good fit for her. I would've liked her a lot more if this was a straight up Revenge Plot and not her taking sexy photos and debating on sending them to Brad 200 pages in.
As for the rest, the pack was okay. I didn't connect with them either, because it was hard to keep them straight. Sometimes their last names were used, sometimes their first names, sometimes their nicknames (Patrick to Trick - I think one had the last name of Vinson and was called Vin). It was too hard to keep straight, so they all kind of blended together. Trick had an omega at one point, but then we find out that he cared about her, but she wasn't really his omega, she was in love with his alpha and he was just a third in their pack...? Oh, and they didn't bond, so it wasn't a real pack, even though he'd thought of them as a previous pack...I don't know. It seemed like just an excuse shoehorned in at the end to say he cared about Izzy more, but I didn't see it. I'm not even sure if the beta was a part of that pack at that time or he met him after he lost his pack.
Then we had random plots that might've been good if they blended a little more seamlessly, but we have little things happen like vandalization of her car and one out of left field thing that happens that all tries to get tied up with a bow at the end with a paragraph assigning blame.
The book wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. As I said, it was all over the place and never really picked a lane. If we had a revenge plot with her ex being obsessed with her and the two kept getting thrown together due to his proximity as captain to her pack's team, I would've enjoyed that a lot more. Like I said, she never crosses the line, but still texting him until nearly the end of the book and telling him to win her back, it was just...
Wonderfully written erotic omegaverse hockey romance
I would like to thank the author, Becca Fogg, for allowing me to read an advance copy of Justice for Puck Bunnies and I freely give my honest review here.
Justice for Puck Bunnies is set in a modern day human omegaverse that is easily relatable despite having a different social structure to our own world. Unlike Alphas and Betas, who have relative freedom with own lives, Omegas are strictly monitored and controlled by the Administration (Admin) who match them with jobs and packs. Failing to register with the Admin and submit to their authority is dangerous and few Omegas would risk trying to control their own destiny.
At twenty eight years old Isabelle Sutton (Izzy) is immersed in the life of a puck bunny, socialising with pro hockey players, trying to hook one into a permanent relationship. Izzy won’t settle for any player, her sights are set on Brad Cameron, captain of the Addevale Cannons, who she’s been involved with and has had a casual agreement with for some time. Izzy’s plans are shattered when she catches Brad in a compromising situation but she is determined to have him begging for her to come back to him and formalise their relationship. Three of Brad’s teammates make the perfect targets for Izzy to get his attention and make him jealous.
Seasoned player Patrick Wyatt (Trick) and his housemates Bobby Vinson (Vin) and Mason LaMille (Mase) don’t know what’s hit them when Izzy torpedoes into their lives but they’re happy to play along with her plans if it takes their arrogant captain down a peg or two. Agreeing to a fake relationship to help out a beta puck bunny might be more difficult than any of them expected, especially as Izzy is keeping secrets from the boys. To make matters worse, Izzy has to deal with jealousy and hostility from a group of puck bunnies who also have Brad in their sights.
Justice for Puck Bunnies is another strong piece of work from Becca Fogg. The story world is well planned and detailed, plus the narrative flows smoothly, making this a compelling read. Justice for Puck Bunnies is told from the perspectives of Izzy, Trick, Vin and Mason, giving readers a good insight into all of their personalities and changing nuances of their relationships. All of these characters develop nicely as the story progresses. Izzy’s mix of strong independence and hidden insecurities make her a relatable protagonist, who I desperately wanted to get a happy ever after ending.
Trick, Vin and Mason each have different personalities that balance each other well. All three of these players see Izzy as a person and not just a puck bunny to be used and discarded. Likewise, unlike many of the other bunnies, Izzy sees them for more than just their looks or pro-player status. As the story develops we see Izzy’s self-awareness grow and also rookie player Mason beginning to mature, thanks to Trick’s and Vin’s influences.
I loved this story and am looking forward to reading Becca Fogg’s future titles. Justice for Puck Bunnies is super spicy and has a MFMM relationship, but doesn’t feel gratuitous; the sex and relationship are within context and add to the storyline. There is also plenty of humour and packed into this story but sensitivity to the emotions of the main characters, making this a great read. I’d definitely recommend Justice for Puck Bunnies if you enjoy this genre or are interested in reading an omegaverse romance.
A new author for me and Becca does not disappoint. I love the omega-verse genre and this is a book that hit me in all the right places. so enthralled with this book, I could not put it down till the last page!!
The thrill of hiding in plain sight that she was an Omega, not a Beta as she claims, puck bunny Izzy finds her life a challenge on a daily basis. Her life as she knows it implodes when her boyfriend, Brad seeks out another puck bunny. She decides she is going to make him pay and she seeks refuge with Trick, Mase and Vin. They all know of Izzy and her relationship status with Brad, but are prepared to take her in and keep her safe. Using scent blockers she feels safe hiding with them until Trick realizes what she really is! Brad lets her secret slip and realizes too late that he has further enhanced her position with the 3 other men.
Oh the thrill of the ride as Trick and Mase and Vin want to claim her as their own, but she is determined to teach Brad that he did wrong and that he needs her like she needs him. A means to an end!. She needed him to stake his claim on her so the Admin would not find out about her and choose a pack for her.
The rollercoaster ride of mixed signals, where they all fight to keep what their heart desires, has you reeling. The passion, the rutting, knotting and many sexy scenes will have you not wanting to put this book down!
How does Izzy find her HEA and her pack when the Admin find out her true status and wish to align her with other interested Alphas!
A great read and worthy of 5 stars. Am sure you will enjoy this genre as much as I did!

ARC review. This book hits the spot! Omegaverse with a secret omega, hockey romance, why choose, revenge, fake dating. Having a puck bunny be our lead is such a great perspective, I love Izzy so much! I read this book all in one day, I could not put it down. After Izzy finds her not quite boyfriend, captain Brad (alpha), cheating on her, she gets revenge by immediately kissing his teammates Trick (alpha), Vin (beta), and Mason (alpha). Because she’s an omega pretending to be a beta, her life is unsettled, she is ready to run off at a moment’s notice. When her best friend and roommate gets engaged, she has to find a new place to live, cue the three hockey men. Trick is the head alpha, he is incredibly observant, making sure everyone is cared for and gets what they need, but isn’t the best at verbalizing his feelings. Vin is the calm beta who is ready to run interference, de-escalate conflict, and loves physical affection. Mason is the young alpha who is full of energy, extremely flirty, has a bit of a short fuse, but loves very deeply and is incredibly considerate. All Izzy wants is the freedom to choose her life path and not be forced into submission like all other omegas. She speaks her mind and doesn’t let others define who she is, especially when they try to put her down or shame her. Her and the men choose to fake a relationship to drive Brad wild but real feelings bleed through and Izzy denies them the hardest. During her heat, all her inhibitions come down and the four of them together is so spicy and delicious. I really love their group dynamic, it’s caring but also playful and teasing. I would definitely read it again.
I loved this book right from the dedication, “For those who sit in the middle of the “hockey” and “spicy books” Venn diagram. Have a pucking good time.”
I have not read an omegaverse story before but I love it! I forgot it was part of the book and was shocked to start reading terms like “omega” and “my alpha”. It was a great read and I couldn’t put it down.
Hockey + MFMM + Omegaverse = a yummy good time.
I hated that Izzy had so much self-doubt. I wanted to yell at her a bunch of times to just open her eyes and give herself and the boys some credit. She was stuck on one path and thought that was her only option when it was clear to everyone else that there was a better option right in front of her eyes. It was frustrating that no one communicated well with each other and everyone was hiding things when it would have been so much better to get things out in the open and everyone say what they were thinking instead of thinking so little of each other, when really they were on the same track.
The boys have such different personalities, yet they work so well together as a pack; they complete and complement each other seamlessly. Trick leads with an air of guidance and strong hand, Vin keeps everyone level-headed and on track, and Mason makes sure to bring the fun. Trick, like a true alpha, thinks he knows best for them all, so it was entertaining to see him be bested a couple times.
I absolutely loved reading this story and will be reading it again for sure!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
The book was about an omega (h) who has been flying under the radar as a beta.
The h is wanting to be bonded to be safe from the “Admin” which was an agency that oversees all omegas.
The h had settled on an alpha (OM) who was a selfish, immature and arrogant alpha, but he would give the h her freedom.
OM drama = the OM strung the h along until the h stumbled in on him getting a little oral attention from OW. OM also several times outted the h’a designation, one time which caused catastrophic results to h’s chances of being free of the Admin. Comeuppance? OM gets kicked off the team he was on and goes into downward spiral.
OW drama = OW whom OM cheated on h with, did and/or orchestrated several things to damage the h’s reputation or just to flat out be cruel to the g: h’s car was vandalized, h had her drink spiked which caused a heat, OW tried to physically attack the h, etc.
Grovel = h met 3 Hs (H1Alpha, H2Alpha & H3Beta). She ends up moving in with the in an attempt to make OM jealous, but in the end fell in love with the 3Hs. She overhears H1Alpha talking to OM and how he and OM had a deal of H1Alpha kicking out h in return for OM giving H1Alpha the title of team captain. h leaves and the 3 Hs must grovel through word and deed to get the h back.
Overall entertaining book, but I would have liked to see the instincts of the designations be more powerful. It felt like the instinctual responses were more muted and lessened the omegaverse experience.

STORY: When "puck bunny" Izzy catches Captain Brad in a delicate position, she's crushed . . . into the arms of three of his teammates also eager for revenge. They have a goal to knock him off his pedestal, but they may be the ones to fall.
Please note this is a human omegaverse standalone novel. Description and content information subject to change.
THOUGHTS: Where do I start.. 1st off Brad is a jerk and I really don't like him. Izzy deserves so much better and luck got on her side. She decides she is going to make him pay and she seeks refuge with Trick, Mase and Vin. They all know of Izzy (and want her)and her relationship status with Brad (childish jerk), but are prepared to take her in and keep her safe. Brad lets her secret slip and realizes too late that he has further enhanced her position with the 3 other men. Trick, Mase, and Vin want to claim her as their own, but she is determined to teach Brad that he did wrong and that he needs her like she needs him. She needed him to stake his claim on her so the Admin would not find out about her and choose a pack for her. But the best thing for her is Trick, Mase, and Vin and they show her what true love and true pack really is.
A great read and worthy of 5 stars. I'm sure you will enjoy this book as much as I did! this was 1st book by Becca Fogg and it want be my last!!!!

Justice for Puck Bunnies by Becca Fogg was my first foray into the omegaverse genre, and I must say, it was a pleasant introduction. The explanation at the beginning of the book was incredibly helpful, providing a clear understanding of the omegaverse dynamics without feeling overwhelming.
The story follows Izzy, who, after a shocking discovery, finds herself entangled with three of her team’s players in a quest for revenge. The plot is engaging and filled with the right amount of tension and drama. I appreciated how the author balanced the unique elements of the omegaverse with a compelling narrative that kept me hooked from start to finish.
One of the standout aspects of this book is its ability to introduce the omegaverse in a way that is accessible to newcomers. The characters are well-developed, and their interactions are both entertaining and emotionally resonant. I found myself rooting for Izzy and her unconventional pack, enjoying the journey they embarked on together.
Overall, Justice for Puck Bunnies is a delightful read that serves as a great entry point into the omegaverse genre. Becca Fogg has crafted a story that is both unique and relatable, making it a must-read for fans of romance and fantasy alike. There is something about revenge romance that just gets me. Maybe it’s because I’m petty. Maybe because they’re delicious. Maybe it’s both. (It’s definitely both).
I do get anxious when it comes to omegaverse books with a government ruling aspect. It adds a little too much reality to my fiction. But despite that, I fudging loved this!! From start to finish.
We’re first introduced to Olivia in the bathroom of the favoured bar for her “boyfriend’s” hockey team. Said boyfriend is… being serviced by a fellow puck bunny. Olivia reacts, rightfully so in my opinion. After letting them know she’s caught them, she latches onto the lips of the first three men she sees once out of the bathroom.
Those men?? Trick, Vin, and Mason. All delectable in their own way.
What follows is the tale of Olivia hiding her Omega designation from the two alphas and beta who offer her a place to stay once it becomes apparent she’ll be homeless soon. In an attempt to make her boyfriend jealous and their captain better for the team, the four decide to play house… only the game gets too real too fast.
I laughed. I blushed. I got teary eyed. My heart raced and broke. This has everything I needed!!
This is one of the best omegaverse and why choose romances I have ever read!
The way the society works is a unique, new hierarchy that I enjoyed learning about. The Admin sounds like a pretentious, horrible institution, and I can understand why Izzy was trying to fly under their radar.
I hated Brad so much, and it bothered me how much Izzy was willing to overlook of his horrid personality (though I understand that he was a means to an end for her to not have to submit to the Admin, but he had no redeeming qualities to make it at all believable that she would choose him over her three guys).
The Wyatt pack was superb! I loved all of them and their interactions with Izzy and with each other. I wanted there to be so much more of this book because I loved their interaction, especially once the third act break-up/misunderstanding happened because I just wanted them all to be so happy! I was so angry about Izzy's reaction, but I understand why she would behave and believe that way. That's how you know a book is good; you feel for the characters so much that you hate to see them hurt.
But the ending was great. I would totally read another book about this pack.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Let me tell you how much I love an Omegaverse sans shifting. I love it. Especially done well. And this was done WELL.
I’m a big sucker for caring men who just want to make their women safe and happy, which is probably why I’m so drawn to Omegaverse in general. Care and comfort is kind of their bread and butter.
But it’s especially wonderful when their care doesn’t stifle. None of the men wanted Izzy to be their caretaker. They wanted her to be happy and independent because that’s what IZZY wanted. They wanted her to have a job she liked because IZZY wanted to work at something she liked. It’s really the absolute best version of an overprotective provider male.
I even loved the grovel. Like the first time they tried to win her back they realized they effed it up and went about it the wrong way. So instead of giving up, they fixed it. They went back and did it the way she needed it to be done.
My only real criticism of this book was it DID drag a bit. Which made her constant “well I’m going back to Brad” all the more jarring and ridiculous because of course she wasn’t going back to him. Everyone knew it, probably even Brad (though watching him get his comeuppance was amazing.)
So glad I read this though. Such a great Omegaverse book.

*I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest review*
This was a pretty standard omegaverse story, so if that’s your thing too, you’re in for a treat. I think the characters were all very distinct and I really enjoyed their dynamic. The plot was a bit predictable at points, but that didn’t really make it any less enjoyable. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the vagueness of “The Admin” organization. I think it had the potential to be a much stronger passive villain type presence, but it was just never explained well enough for me to really understand its purpose. From what I could gather, they basically 5150 omegas and auction them off to the highest bidder, and for some reason, The Admin has ultimate ruling authority over pairings. But then there were some things that happened that made me question whether or not I was understanding their role correctly, and it was just a bit confusing, which is why I did mark this down a star from what the writing style and the rest of the plot deserves. Still definitely worth the read though, and I could see myself giving this a reread down the line.
Justice for Puck Bunnies is a human omegaverse standalone novel in which Izzy is an Omega pretending to be a Beta. Izzy values her independence but knows her time from hiding from the Admin (the organization that matches Omegas with packs) is coming to a close. She thought she had a wife card in the bag with the current captain of the Addevale Cannons. But when she catches him with another "puck bunny", she's crushed and decides to fight fire with fire with a little help from his teammates.
This book was a great - the story just flowed and I could have easily sat and read it in one reading. I loved the independence that Izzy showed and peeling back the layers to get to know the real her. I enjoyed watching the guys finally figure out what they wanted and figuring out how to make that happen. This book definitely checks a lot of boxes: Revenge, fake dating, forced proximity, sports romance and of course, a HEA with no cliff-hangers. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I’m a sucker for a good Omegaverse, and this definitely hits the spot! As an Omega, Izzy has evaded the Admin (think over-controlling government like in the Handsmaid Tale, but only toward Omegas) by pretending to be a beta, but knows she’s running out of time and puts all her focus into becoming bonded with the Cannons Captain, Brad (his name should’ve been her first clue 🤣).
Her world is thrown into a tailspin when she catches him cheating and ends up making a pact with the possibly forming Wyatt Pack in order to guarantee her bonded place with Brad by making him jealous… You’ll know why I say possibly forming when you read the book…. What ensues is the chaos, and mucho spicy times 🥵🥵🥵🥵, of her navigating a fake relationship with the two Alphas and 1 Beta.
Seriously… this spice in this book is top tier!! The couch scene with Izzy and Vin 🥵🥵🥴🥴🤤🤤🤤😈😈😈😈 Round of applause to Becca Fog!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you to the Author and BookFunnel for the arc read!! Please make sure you check your trigger warnings and I hope everyone enjoys this book as much as I did!!
It was all right. Combining omegaverse and hockey is a lot. A lot.
I am not the biggest fan of omegaverse normally, so that factors into this review, I think. In this case, I didn't mind most of the elements of it, *except* for the Admin. There's this shady government administrative omega-monitoring/controlling branch that just didn't fit for me. Izzy takes suppressants to keep many of her omega qualities from overwhelming her - but where is she getting these drugs from? They can't be readily available given how all-powerful the Admin is painted as and these fly directly in the face of the Admin?
I understood the need to have an external pressure amping up Izzy's need to find a bond, but some of the elements in this one just didn't do it for me.
Still a decent why choose. The hockey elements mainly existed in the puck bunny contexts rather than in being very sport-focused, but they more or less worked. Quick read. Recommend for fans of both of those - hockey and omegaverse - elements.
I ran through this book like Flo Jo and I am reviewing it immediately after staying up all night reading it so forgive me if I am not the most coherent in my review.
Firstly, loved this book. A spicy hockey romance with a reverse harem and it's omegaverse, absolutely yes. And to be so well written and executed, this book made me so happy. I haven't given 5 stars for a book in a long time, I had to for this one. Vin, Mason, and Trick were our girl Izzy's love interest and I loved all of them equally for her. This is rare for me as one or two members of the harem in these types of books always seem to have more chemistry with the FMC than the others, so I tend to like those MMCs more. This was not so for this book and I couldn't be more glad. No one in this story seemed disposable and that's truly a testament to Beccas's character and plot development skills. 5 stars!!

Got to do an ARC review and fuck me was I lucky. I came into the newsletter at the perfect time.
This book had me at the edge of my seat biting a pillow to muffle my screams with all the A/B/O society bullshit (The Admin - may they all get grilled like hunted beef on a caveman's skewer). Loved the dynamic between the MCs and their relationship, even with the copious amounts of illogical idiots living off misunderstandings parts.
Overall it was a good shorter read with a cute HEA and great world setting potential.. Just an idea for @beccafoggauthor Totally just my own greedyness but if someone else writes a fic set in this world and wants Beta readers I volunteer as Tribute!! The idea: A rich as sin pack that takes down The Admin because they're all tired of their shit. Make it a dark series full of plots, murder and a pinch of badass women and I'll religiosly read everything single book.
I'm totally in my ice hockey era, and this book hit every spot that I could ask for it to.
The guys were totally the alpha males you want when you're reading this kind of story (even the beta gave total alpha vibes he's perfect)
The storyline flowed really well, and it came together perfectly at the end. It didn't leave us hanging like some books. It tied together in the best way! (The epilogue was just perfection)
I would totally recommend this book to anyone who loves hockey, why choose romance and a happy ending.
Tropes - they fall first - why choose romance - alpha/omega/beta relationship - breeding kink (kinda)
I love a hockey romance! Make it a gorgeous omega finding her pack with 3 smoking hot hockey players, and I am melting! Izzy is an omega living on suppressants, avoiding her status being revealed, and hoping her boyfriend, the captain of the pro hockey team, will bond her. Instead, she walks into the ladies room to find her man’s stick being swallowed by an obnoxious puck bunny!! In retribution, she finds 3 of his teammates and swoops in to lay the hottest kisses on each of them. This book skates through their story of becoming a pack, finding one another, losing each other, and then bonding one another. Becca Fogg wrote a beautiful love story. And the spice is delicious!! Please, read this one and thank me later!!!

This is an arc review. Thanks to the author for the opportunity.
I loved this book. It is the perfect mixture of a lot of readers favourite tropes: romance, spice, hockey, omegaverse and why choose.
The book opens with "puck bunny" Izzy catching Captain Brad in a very delicate position in the bathroom stalls with rival puck bunny and complete bitch Livvy.
Izzy is hurt because Brad was supposed to be hers. Izzy decides right there and then that revenge is needed.
Enter Trick, Vin & Mase.. 3 team mates of Brad's who agree to help Izzy.
And that's where I leave it because this is a spoiler free review.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone that wants to dip their toe into any of the above tropes. At 306 pages it's also the perfect palette cleanser.
I’ll start by saying, this book sounded intriguing when it was recommended in a Facebook group. The blurb made it sound like a fun rom com type of read, which I love. What I don’t love is people who use sex as a weapon to get what they want. The MFC watches as the man she is with cheats on her and then looks at him as a means to an end. Oh I’m sure that things probably change through the book, but this is irredeemable in my case. Someone who intentionally uses someone in a relationship - it’s all the triggers that I hate and how men treat women on the daily. The last thing I want is for a MFC to embody all the things I hate about the male species. Sure, she’ll probably learn something but I’m not waiting around for it.
Omegaverse, reverse harem and hockey: it had all my favourites. It was a bit tame for an omegaverse book with less agression and possesiveness, but I enjoyed it nontheless.
I loved Izzy's sass and comebacks. She had already decided how her life should be and it made her blind to a couple of things. It felt like her happiness didn't matter to her at all.
The guys were perfect. I'm usually not a fan of betas in a pack, but with only 3 guys in the harem, it worked perfectly. It was great to read about a pack that wasn't already established. To see how they figured out the dynamics of a pack and where exactly each of them fit.
The epilogue wrapped this whole book up with the perfect HEA and karma.
