This book is nothing short of amazing. I love how this author writes and I never get tired of reading her books. Its almost like I am right there with them as they do their adventures. I have been to Hot Springs and her descriptions are spot on. Love these characters and can't wait to go on the next one.
I could not put this book down. I tried. About midnight, I set it down and turned off the light for about 30 seconds. I just HAD to know how X related to Y and Z. This book is beautifully written. For example, in an early quiet moment, the three main characters reminisce about how they met many years earlier and instantly liked each other. And later in the book, their instant attraction is explained. Add in possible secret treasure, mystical natural hot springs, Cherokee officials and history, a strange lawyer, Al Capone, a ghost dog, an Uber driver looking for adventure, and so much more. This book is playful and creepy at the same time. I don't know how the author managed it, but I love it.
Voices in the vapors by Eva Pohler is about Ellen, Sue, and Tanya going to a Hot Springs, Arkansas to relax but they hear voices every time they visit the springs. Ellen, Sue, and Tanya have to listen to the voices to end a curse. I love the relationship between the characters. My favorite character is Sue because she is funny. Overall, this book is amazing.
Voices in the Vapors is an excellent thriller that led me through scary adventures with three ladies who will stop at nothing to achieve their ghost hunting goals. Funny, scary, adventuresome fun. Hot Springs will never be the same again with Eva’s storytelling!!! Part of a great series of different destination ghost hunting.
