“Three may keep a secret, if two of them are dead.” (Benjamin Franklin)

Emma Gray is a young attorney with beauty she’s unaware of and grit that’s easily overlooked. But all she really wants is the ordinary life she didn’t have as a child. On a rainy night in Boston, she walks into a pub to meet a group of colleagues. Conversations and cocktails flow, but something more sinister is at play. Not everyone will survive the night.

The next morning she awakens covered in bruises and scrapes, yet all her memories after leaving the bar have gone dark. The revelations to follow will change her life in ways she never saw coming.

In this gripping thriller, Emma must decide who she can trust, which clues to follow, and how far she’s willing to go to discover the truth.

After reading so many bad books, I thought maybe I was just tired of reading a book a day! Boy was I wrong! I happened to see this little gem on Kindle Unlimited and decided to give this author a try. It’s more of a good mystery than a typical thriller, and I really enjoyed it! I read it in under a day. The writing has a way of keeping the pace moving at a nice speed. It’s about a lawyer trying to figure out why her two colleagues are murdered. At the same time, she has her house broken into, cryptic messages, and even guilt thrown her way. There’s also a romantic undercurrent throughout! I’ll def read more books by this author!

So, I did enjoy this book. It was super fast paced and full of twists. I really struggled whether to give this book 3 or 4 stars but in the end decided on 3. My reason for that is, that although I LOVE a good twist, it was honestly a lot. At the end of the book it just seemed like there were so many big characters in this book that were corrupt and involved some how. It kind of became one big jumbled mess for me. I may ponder on it and come back and change my review to 4 stars in the future but for now, this is where I'm at.

If you like a book that keeps you guessing, definitely read “Every Little Sign”… I missed “every little sign” as I was reading and my jaw was on the floor a few times! A+ shock factor with a satisfying ending. It kept my attention the entire time and I found myself thinking about these characters even when I wasn’t reading! I thought the author set up the narrative clues really well where you don’t even know it’s a clue until something is revealed and you have a lot of “aha” moments. The descriptive writing style had a cinematic feel where I was playing out the scenes in my mind and felt like I could have been watching a movie! I loved the fast paced plot and would recommend to any mystery/thriller readers! A great first read of the new year for me!!

This was an easy read. I could not put this book down and definitely is a full plate to anyone who enjoys a good thriller. I was unsure about given 3 or 4 stars, and chose 3 cause of the amount of twists we got at the end. Even so, I loved the read!

BAD!!! Reads as though the author just discovered adjectives and similes. Somewhat of a plot twist that kept it interesting but overall bad

i have officially been good-reads-reviews-bamboozled. like i genuinely don’t even have the words to explain the things that were weird about this book. so many things unresolved or never touched on again, random romance plot that had no meat to it, and unnecessary description of random objects that felt like the author was just trying to meet a word count… anyway…. im gonna give it an extra star for the “plot twist”

You Will Not Be Able To Put This Book Down

I stayed up into the wee hours of the morning until I finished Every Little Sign. Almost every chapter reveals something you didn’t expect. Highly recommend for those who love a great who done it! Lucky me winning this book on a Goodreads giveaway!

This book took me so long to read, I kept stopping hoping if I read something more interesting like the ingredients list on my shampoo bottles & came back to it I'd be able to get back into it, but alas, no .
I get pissed off thinking about how much time I wasted reading this & the books I could've read in that time that were not this .
I've once again been bamboozled by Goodreads reviews.

So maybe it was a 3, but the twists were not really big, more convenient. I would not read it again

The overly descriptive writing style became old really quickly. I didn’t guess any of the twists really, but wasn’t surprised or shocked by them either. Just an okay book.

3.75 ⭐️ an intriguing read. Even 80% of the way through the book, I still had no idea what was really happening. Feel like perhaps there was too many things going on for me

Great book: had so many good elements: mystery, murder, and romance. I liked Emma and was surprised with the plot twists of Claire not being dead and instead being an evil mastermind. I was seriously worried Mason was going to turn out to be a bad glad and relieved that he wasn’t. I really enjoyed this book.

The writing felt messy and not memorable. There were characters and details mentioned in the beginning that were brought up again later on and even though it’s a short book, I had already completely forgotten about them. The author doesn’t understand how to use quotation marks when writing multiple paragraphs of dialogue, which becomes confusing when the book is written in first person. Are they still speaking or are they thinking now? Who knows? I’m also never a fan of the main character falling in love with the cop, so that was a huge downgrade all on its own.

I think this book has a lot of potential, and I will maybe pick it up in the future. For now, it seemed disorganized and I couldn’t focus on what was going on because there was a huge plot development every other page.

Talk about missing "Every Little Sign" in this book! Wow! All the stars for this domestic suspense!

Writing: 5/5 - Plot: 5/5 - Ending: 5/5

The writing was beautiful and flows so well with each chapter. This is a bit more scenic route style writing but I love that. I felt like I was right there with Emma trying to figure out what happened that night, and feeling the anxiety she was experiencing with each new revelation (basically one in every other chapter too!) and couldn't put this down.

This is a lighter style legal thriller, no courtroom drama per se, but dealing with the world of corporate law. This is a nicely layered plot that kept me guessing and my jaw dropping.

I didn't see that, that, that or THAT coming! This had me guessing all the way through and I loved it right up until the final sentence. I'm keeping it vague because this is best to go into blind!

I had high hopes for this book but I don't know why. It would have been nice for the original title transfer to kindle, but once the title becomes Every Little Sign: A Mysterious Thriller with a Shocking Twist, there is no element of surprise. Also, I was impressed with her descriptions on the first page, but too many just distract from the plot. I don't need to know what every single character in the book is wearing at all times, and to go as far as saying, after offering someone a bottle of water, to describe it as a cylinder of clear liquid is just too far over the top. And by the end I just didn't care any more.

This had everything I should like in a book. Smart women, protag who works with the police rather than against, mystery within a mystery, smart and diligent police detective.

But somehow, the elements tossed in together just didn't work for me this time. It should have been suspenseful, tense, engaging, but instead I was simply bored. I can't pinpoint any particular reason why because not only was I bored, but I also didn't care.

I believe I'm an outlier so please read other reviews that give this book a better shot than I have!

This book hooked me immediately, but the twists kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time! It was so well written I loved these characters, and as a thriller fanatic it takes a lot to keep me guessing but my jaw was on the floor by the end - a fun plot with great shock value, would recommend to anyone looking for a fast paced mystery!

I enjoyed this book very much. It came down to the end of the book that revealed something I had no clue about. This kept me guessing and when a book does this it makes for a good read. This book is about greed and how it affects someone's life and how far they will go to protect themselves and their secrets.
I would read more from this author.

twisting and turning

Again with Amazon reviews. I would give this book a 4.7. The story was great, it kept me engaged, the only problem were how things were described. Sunlight “oozing in the window”. “I watched him hike away” and many more. You don’t have to use a new word to describe a basic thing.

Although they grabbed me right away, the plot twists in this book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The writing was superb, and these characters were amazing. "Every Little Sign" is a must-read if you enjoy reading a good suspense.

Finally! I have had a bunch of misses lately, so much so that I had to leave this genre for a while and read a steady stream “smut.” Ha!

This one held my interest the whole time and had some great twists.

Thank you GoodReads for bringing this into my life!

This book was amazing! I am a little biased because it mentions SC. It was a great thriller and had many twist and turns even all the way to the end. I wasn’t expecting the one character to be someone else. Shocker! Awesome read!

Couldn't put it down!

Thoroughly enjoyed every twist and turn told by interesting and relatable main characters. Always like people with messy lives who manage to do more than survive...
