Roll the dice - before your luck runs out.

Ex-British MI5 “Section D” agent Tom Marlowe has been burnt, his Security Services clearance restricted, and his protection from foreign agencies in discussion. Added to that, the gift his late father gave him - a gift he doesn't want - has painted a target on his back so large, it can be seen from space.

Now, alone and unsupported, Tom must help an old friend with a problem, going up against a crooked, Orchid-sponsored Las Vegas casino while dealing with the fallout of both his father's death and the events of Counter Attack, a journey that takes him into the casinos and bars of Las Vegas and the privileged world of the Vegas elite, before entering the dark underbelly of "Sin City," leading to a finale that forces him to make a decision on his future... and one that could change his entire life.

But is he willing to bet it all on the roll of a dice?

Stealth Strike -

This is the 5th book in the series and whilst it can be read as a stand-alone book it is probably better to read the first 4 before reading this one. Two reasons - firstly some of the back stories and characters will make more sense (even though this book does explain them) and more importantly, they are all very good reads. This one doesn’t disappoint even. As normal, Marlowe and crew are performing heroics in another action packed page turner. Another 5 out of 5 from me. Looking forward to reading book 6.

Story is good not too many clumsy AI editing errors.

I like these stories but am not tolerant of clumsy errors, likely because an author, pressed for time, has used AI for proof reading. If the errors are yours, do better & if they are AI that's a shame too.
How hard is it to engage a group of beta readers?
A good story kind of screwed up by messy mistakes.

Another page turner!

You know Marlowe will come out on top but maybe just barely...the pace is fast and there are always those who seem to slip away and live to fight another day.

A fun read!

Marlowe, exciting to the last page

Brilliantly written, certainly gripping, be warned it’s hard to put down. Marlowe is invited to his father’s wake, not sure if he will go yet but intreaged enough to book a ticket to LA. More complications for Marlowe but he does get help.

Excellent read

I think this is the best Tom Marlowe novel yet; lots of intrigue and many twists & turns! I like how there were multiple plots and how the story continues from previous books.

What’s more exciting than being in Las Vegas? A host of secret agents, bad guys, a wake, and a new casino in Las Vegas. And, as always, Marlowe’s right in the middle. Good book.

Stealth Strike by Jack Gatland is book 5 in the Tom Marlow series. Tom’s estranged father, Taylor Coleman, gifted Tom his position on the High Council of Orchid just before he died. However, this ends up leaving Orchid in a state of chaos. Tom heads to Las Vegas for his father’s funeral, meeting up with members of Orchid, in particular his half-brother he thinks of as Ichabod. The funeral is timed to coincide with the opening of Gabriel Rizzo’s casino, so Tom knows there will be trouble. What follows is a rollercoaster ride as he is joined by the old team, particularly Trix Preston. The book is full of intrigue, secrecy, spies and shoot-outs. A most enjoyable read.
