Chris Turner is an Australian science fiction author who writes about what it means to stay human in a changing world. His stories begin with empathy and connection, grow through adventure and discovery, and find their grounding in believable science and technology.

After decades designing mining infrastructure around the world, he developed a fascination with underground places — quiet, enduring spaces that test resilience and reveal character. That fascination runs through much of his work. Chris also built his own electric catamaran, which later appeared in The Hunt for the Butcher of Blackrock, book four of the MOSAR series.

His love of science fiction began with Arthur C. Clarke, Stargate, and SG-1 — where science and mythology meet possibility. That spark led to Delusions of Anubis, a psychological exploration of identity, immortality, and the blurred line between belief and reality.
