Can a powerful vampire convince two young wolf shifters that all three of them are meant to be together? At over two hundred years old, Soren despairs that he will ever find anyone to be his flock. Vampires who don’t form soul-deep connections with at least one other will eventually find themselves turning into mindless, blood-thirsty beasts. When two young wolf shifters wander close to his property he knows they are meant to be his.
Kalli and Quinn have been on the run from their pack for three years. Although they have survived, they’ve been forced to live a life bare of anything but the absolute essentials. Then they stumble upon the home of a man who seems to need them. Soren Bowen makes both wolves feel empathy for him, despite the fact that he’s a bit mysterious. Even though past experience has taught them not to trust easily, both Kalli and Quinn are drawn to this tall, handsome recluse.
It’s not long before secrets start to come out, and Soren’s forced to reveal himself to Kalli and Quinn. He can only hope the fragile feelings the three of them have started to build will be enough to support a lasting relationship. To compound the issue, danger is lurking close by, ready to snatch his wolves away. Can he keep Kalli and Quinn safe and at the same time win their love forever?
This novel contains an HEA, no cheating, and can be read as a stand-alone novel. This work of fiction is meant for 18+ readers only.
This is a 'new to me' author and the blurb sounded semi-interesting. Characters are a combination - some well-developed and others not so much. The supporting characters were almost more interesting than the MCS. The world was left undeveloped so I take it we are supposed to be in our reality with a paranormal twist. The plot .... In some ways pretty basic with a few interesting conflicts and upheavals, but nothing unforeseen. The style of writing tripped me up every so often as I would come to a screeching halt with the question "is this first person or third person?" I really didn't look too closely as I simply wanted to finish the story, but there is something odd there - at least for me. Overall a decent story with some semi-fresh ideas. M/F/M -soft
I have to admit that I was nervous with how our main leads met, I didn't know what direction their relationship would go but I'm glad I kept on reading.
I think Soren could have done differently on the first meeting but he more than made up for it, and was able to prove that he would be a good and respectful mate.
I loved Kalli's and Quinn's dynamics, they were an interesting pair that complemented each other perfectly.
I was interested in some of the side characters and I really want to read their stories. And I wouldn't mind a short story on the Dr. and his naga wife, they were really interesting.
The development and pace of the story were good and it kept me reading and wanting to know more with every chapter i read.
I hope we get to see glimpses of the main leads in the other stories.
POV: multiple Tropes: lonely old vampire/on the run sweet couple, vampire/werewolves, MMF, fated mates. Spice: medium high (detailed scenes, light bondage, light dom/sub play -it was more of one commanding and the other two letting go of their control, MM {though I would have liked a bit more, it was more emotional their connection, there was some petting and kissing but no penetration on page though it was hinted that there would be}, blood drinking for pleasure, commanding orgasms. CW: violence, blood, kidnapping, threats of rape, death, torture, mentions of torture/oppression/murder in wolves MCs' pack to keep people in line, mentions of murder of baby(no details/past).
This is such a great love story. The characters are likable and the world has depth and lots of potential which is super important at the beginning of a series. Also the side characters are great and I'm looking forward to reading about them in later books.
Every once in a while I encounter some words of wisdom that hit me just right. I liked this,
“Eventually, many realize that the words right and wrong need to be replaced by the words choice and consequence.”
And this was followed by another bit of wisdom,
“The choice was to have you in my flock or not. The consequence was lonely simplicity or complexity with love.”
Both of these ideas were illustrated well in the story. There is a definite simplicity in being alone and a definite complexity in being in love and relationships. Balancing these things can be a struggle but this is where books can help us out in “real life.”
Soren has been a vampire for hundreds of years but he has never found his flock. One night he finds two wolves camping on his land and knows immediately that they are his, he just has to convince them of this fact.
Quinn and Kalli have been on the run from their pack for years but stumble upon a pale man who makes them feel safe. Do they trust him and stay?
This story moves quickly and shows the growth of the triad and conflicts with their old wolf pack. There's world building in the background of how magical creatures interact and what they need. This is the start of a series but has a HEA.
I actually read this book second as I saw the second book on book Bub and it sounded interesting. I thought it was a first book in the series until I went looking and found this one. If you are into shifter series and partners that count three people ( kinda) in there love group then this is a very good series to read. Please note that it shouldn’t be left where people not as like minded or children could accidentally start reading it.
Again Ours Evermore is an awesome series so far and I am looking forward to more in the series
Although I read the books out of order, I loved this first book of the series as much as I did the second one. This author’s style of writing flows well and is easy to read; her characters are intriguing and fun to get to know. The supporting cast of characters are varied, adding necessary information and actions, as well as humor, challenges and angst. Of course the villain is more than worthy of the label and his end, while justified, is quite impressive. I will certainly be looking for more books by RK Munin in the future.
Interesting take on shifter/vampire dynamic and fated mates
So in this book, vampires form “flocks”, like fated mates with shifters. All the dynamics in this book were intriguing. There was so much inclusion. Kinda loved it. The last few chapters of this book were really great. Kallie is a bad*$$, but watching her grow in strength and respect and emotions and empathy was fantastic. Soren is a great character, but a little wishy-washy for a big strong vamp. I kinda loved Memphis and Lex, and even Knox. I hope all those brothers get their stories told.
This was a fantastic start to the series. Soren, Kayla, and Quinn are a wonderful team and I loved seeing them come together and learn to trust one another. Soren has been alone so long and when he finds his flock he just wants to care for them and take care of them. Kayla and Quinn are a couple who have been through so much and it was a pleasure seeing how Soren got added in. The sex is steamy with some MM scenes, the characters make you cheer for them, and the danger they are facing kept the story going. Loved it!
I wanted to like TWO WOLVES FOR SOREN so much but the things I didn't like just kept adding up. It's written in present tense which is always hard for me to read and then I wasn't in love with Soren using his thrall several times on Kalli and Quinn. Then I'm not sure why Memphis was always around; it makes sense for Soren to ask him to watch out for them but did he need to watch Kalli and Quinn make out, or listen in on the three of them having sex, or go on their date. It was just awkward. Overall, the writing just wasn't strong enough to keep me reading.
Omg! Soren is literally the book boyfriend who swoops in and handles business. For both Kalli and Quinn he is sweet and kind but he did not play about protecting them. He should get book boyfriend of the year! The progression of the three’s relationship felt natural and perfect. You were rooting for them the whole time.
If you like vampire and shifter romances I think this is a great read. It has action and Soren doesn’t bother with the touch them and, well you know, he’s a man of action in that sense. This book has me excited to read more of the series.
I enjoyed this book.It was a comfortable read, not massively intense but had enough conflicts to be interesting. The supporting characters were entertaining , especially the Chimera brothers that were all named after cities in Tennessee.Quirky.There was heat between the triad but it wasn't graphically raunchy.I bought the second book, Memphis ' story.I recommend this book.Amusing, well written and it held my interest throughout the entire book.
The vampire Soren willingly offers shelter for the winter to Quinn and Kalli, wolf shifters trying to escape from their old pack. With help from his chimera friend Memphis Soren may be able to keep Quinn and Kalli close and safe, but will they trust him? It’s an exciting story of generous love, magical creatures and scary adventures! Enjoy!!!
Wonderful book. I read it out of sequence as I’ve already read the second book. This is about Soren finding his flock, they just happen to be a pair of wolf shifters on the run. I really enjoyed the book. The characters are well written. Kali is my favourite, she’s constantly underestimated because she’s female and small, but when it comes down to it she can kick ass and take names. Great series and I’m looking forward to reading the third book.
This book is in a new world for the author. No complaints! Awesome story about three that find their hearts home together. This book does have many components of her other books - strong likable characters and a storyline that sucks you in. Can’t wait for more in this world (honestly have loved all the authors books so far)!
Action, adventure and romance, what more do you need?
Well rounded characters that will make you believe ( or want to! ) with enough personal interaction to spice things up without being overly descriptive. A storyline that weaves everything together and enough action to keep those pages turning! A fun and interesting read that I feel good recommending.
This story starts a little slow, but give it a chance! Love Kalli, Soren and Quinn. Liked the friends also. It was a really good romance, action and relationships. Recommend!
I read book 2 first and I really enjoyed it. So I had to read this one. I enjoyed it and the characters. I didn’t know if I'd like the triad part, but the storytelling was good and I found I liked that Love was the foundation of the triad and now the pack.
Soren is a sweetheart! I want one for me ! The love of his existence is two wolves shifter, that he wants as part of his flock. There's drama, love that has no ending, the family they are making is perfect for them.
I loved everything about the story. Tasteful interludes and a meaningful storyline make this book worth the read. The lack of a safeword in one of the scenes was concerning, but overall, the dialog compensated. It was truly a wonderful reading experience.
What a delightful story. I fell in love with Soren, Kalli and Quinn. After decades of loneliness Soren finds his flock - not with humans or vampires but two wolves. Their story is one of strength and love.
I read a lot, and I have read a lot of shifter books, vampire books and reverse harem books. This one surprised me. It was actually different. It was fun, spicy and sweet. Adorable actually, but with a story worth reading!
This first book in the Siren series was a surprise to me. I knew about shifters of all sorts and vampires but Nagas? Chimeras? What the heck? Vampires can have a flock to keep them sane? Looks like I have a lot to learn! This is a really good story. Very believable.
