Relationships can be tricky. Even more so when the person you’re with is unlike anyone else you have ever dated before.

Jonathan is everything I’m not. He speaks more languages than I can count, he has an apartment in every major city, he has more money than I know what to do with.
And he’s over 800 years older than me. And he’s the vampire crown prince.
Needless to say I find myself in unknown waters.
To top it all off, there are things on the horizon that will push both Jonathan and me to our absolute limits. Neither of us are used to relying on others, but sometimes you have no choice, and it might as well be the person you trust with your deepest secrets.
The question is, am I strong enough to deal with the darkness that is creeping up on us? Is our relationship?

***

In all the time I’ve been alive, I have never been happier than I am now. After centuries of trading fleeting connections for loneliness, I finally found the one whom my soul was meant to love.
To be on the receiving end of Christina’s unconditional love was a gift I never dreamt would someday be mine, and I was determined to do everything in my power to keep it. Even though I still thought myself undeserving.

Yet, it gave us no reprieve from a companion that I knew all too well: Death.
Will I be able to hold onto this new-found happiness? Or will encroaching danger rip it from my arms?

Heir Undisputed – Hannah James
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

This is the second installment of the Night Heir Trilogy. This books picks up right where the cliffhanger left us SCREAMING in the last one (THANK GOD).

Jonathan and Christina are learning what it means to love someone through thick and thin.

Christina is thrust into the world of the Infinite. Money, power, prestige, secrets…it all kind of makes her head spin. She’s also trying to grapple with the fact that Jonathan is 800 years older than her, he’s traveled the world multiple times and knows more languages than she can count. While trying to find her way after graduating from college, she’s learning that only the strong know when to ask for help.

Jonathan has a lot on his plate. He’s running a business, nurturing a new relationship, and searching for a few (or maybe an army) of vampires who are wreaking havoc in his and Christina’s lives. Scared to let her in, he keeps most of his past from Christina. His dark secrets come back to haunt him more and more each day. When he finally opens up will Christina still love him for who he is?

FOLKS, HANNAH HAS DONE IT AGAIN. 👏🏻 I stand firm in my belief that Jonathan is TOP TIER book boyfriend material. 🥵 The spice in this book was so *chefs kiss*. 😮‍💨 Jonathan and Christina are a force to be reckoned with. ♥️

While there is LOTS of spice, the plot is what reeled me in. Watching Jonathan and Christina learn about each other and work through their new relationship struggles was one of the best parts of the book. 🥹 I love how Hannah gave us more background about even the smallest characters. I am a Katalina stan and I will hear nothing else!!! 🗣️

To keep this spoiler free, what I will say is the twists had me shook and the cliffhanger at the end had my jaw on the floor. 🫢 This book put me through the wringer! I was giggling and kicking my feet at the spice, crying about things I can’t tell you, and overwhelmingly happy at the support Jonathan and Christina have in each other and their families. 🤩 While this is a continuation of a story, I never felt bored. Hannah kept us fed and wanting more!!! 👹

Thank you so much to Hannah for giving me a copy of this book to read and review. While this was an ARC, this review is voluntary and completely honest. I’d read Hannah’s grocery lists if she published them. 😎

_"He is dangerous, but he looks so damn good doing it"🖤🌹_

🦇I had the honor of being an ARC for this book! Let's get right on to the review!

This book did not disappoint! We picked up where we left off in book 2, it felt as though no time had passed and boy oh boy did I eat this book up. This book was well worth the wait and so worth the time to read.

I love Christina and Jonathan's relationship, it's healthy, loving and feels real. I cannot get over these two and their bond.

Kat is still my girlie, I would die to meet her🥹❤️.

I loved the plot and pacing of this book, I loved the character development and how relationship have grown and how some have started (I won't spoil it for you 🤭)

I must admit, the found family makes me so happy. I love that you get to see how much they care of each other.

The flashbacks and getting to know some of the characters' pasts really helped me to understand them more as people and why certain decisions where made.

I loved this book Hannah, and I cannot wait for book three!🖤🌹

**Heir Undisputed (Night Heir Trilogy, Book 2) by Hannah James: A Captivating Blend of Romance, Intrigue, and Fantasy**

"Heir Undisputed," the second book in Hannah James's Night Heir Trilogy, delivers an enthralling continuation that captivates from the first page to the last. This sequel dives deeper into the intricacies of its characters, particularly Christina and Jonathan, whose love story adds a rich, emotional layer to the narrative.

Christina and Jonathan's relationship is a central thread in this installment, their bond growing stronger amidst the chaos surrounding them. Their love story is both tender and tumultuous, filled with moments of heartfelt connection and passionate intensity. James excels in portraying their dynamic, making their interactions feel genuine and deeply affecting. The chemistry between them is palpable, and their journey together is as compelling as the broader plot.

The book also doesn't shy away from exploring the spicier side of their relationship. The romantic and sexual tension between Christina and Jonathan is handled with taste and care, adding a layer of sensuality that enhances their story without overshadowing the plot. These moments are steamy yet meaningful, contributing to the overall richness of their characters.

Beyond the romance, "Heir Undisputed" shines with its well-crafted world-building and intricate plot. The stakes are higher, the conflicts more intense, and the alliances more fraught with danger and deception. James's writing is immersive, pulling readers into a world filled with magic, power struggles, and unforeseen twists.

The supporting cast and their subplots are equally well-developed, adding depth and complexity to the story. Each character plays a crucial role in the unfolding drama, making the narrative feel well-rounded and complete.

In summary, "Heir Undisputed" is a remarkable sequel that blends romance, fantasy, and intrigue into a compelling read. Christina and Jonathan’s love story, with its passionate highs and tender moments, stands out as a highlight. Hannah James has crafted a book that not only satisfies but leaves readers eagerly anticipating the next chapter in this captivating trilogy.

Disclaimer: This ARC was given to me for free by the author, and I am reviewing this book voluntarily and with full ability to give an honest review.

Spice Meter: 5/5 - Hot and Spicy
Rating 5/5 - Paranormal Romance Meets Greek Mythology

Release Date: January 24, 2024
TW: At the end of the review

Bonus Mentions: the author provides a Spotify playlist that goes with some of the chapters, as well as a pronunciation guide.

Heir Undisputed is the second book in the Night Heir series. The story picks up right where the first book ends, which is wonderful for us readers, as book one ends on quite the cliffhanger.

We continue to follow the adventures of Christine and Jonathan, as well as their families as they continue to figure themselves out as they are faced with the reality of the events unfolding around them.

As a reader, I sometimes worry that we won’t get anything new or insightful in book two, and I am extremely happy to announce that this is not the case for Heir Undisputed. Not only do we get to see new sides of both main characters, but we also get to know the extended ‘families’ better.

This book hits you with grief, happiness, tears of joy, and tears of sorrow. There were some twists that I was not expecting, and one in particular had me walking away from the book to catch my breath. Everything you hope for in a sequel.

Book two does have some spicer scenes in it, but as a reader that makes sense, as Christine and Jonathan’s relationship grows. I love the dark and sexy world that the author is taking us into, and I can’t wait for book three to see what happens next!

I would like to thank the author for the privilege of reading and reviewing their book!

I received a free eARC of this book, and this is my honest and voluntary review.

In Heir Undisputed, we continue to follow Christina navigating the infinite world and her relationship with His Eternal Majesty, Lord Jonathan Ambrose Langdon. Not everything in Christina’s life is as smooth sailing as she would like, and she quickly realises they must work as a team.

I absolutely ADORED this book! As both a Beta and ARC reader, I had the absolute pleasure of getting to read this book twice. We start to see a different side to both Christina and Jonathan, their personalities and clashes adding in several shocking surprises. They are a wonderful team - most of the time, yet even though Jonathan is over 800 years old - he still acts like a child sometimes. Hannah has an absolutely amazing talent of bringing even the smallest characters to life in a matter of words.

At 530 pages, this took me 4 and a half hours to read. Please note, there are several scenes of sexual nature and intended for mature adults. Highly recommend it to any fantasy and romance lover.

Book 2 is just as good as book 1!

Definitely read Heir Undeniable first, as this book picks up immediately after book 1.

We follow along with Jonathan and Christina as their relationship evolves. They're so caught up in each other and in love, but still live their lives both separate and together.

They face some major normal life challenges, a long with supernatural ones. We get to delve deeper in to the past, the vampire world, and how things ended up where they are.

I'll be honest, I got frustrated at first, because there were a lot of chapters sprinkled in that shared Jonathan's past. While I loved learning about it, I also was eager to move along in the story. However, those glimpses really show how he's grown as a person (vampire, whatever). I'm guessing it's also a bit of foreshadowing at how things might develop, but we'll see.

Also, I just want to applaud the author for characters' consistent consent, working through of toxic behaviors and owning up to what they do wrong.

I am lost in this world and I cannot wait for the next book!

Heir Undisputed by Hannah James is a fantastic follow-up to the first book, Heir Undeniable. It continues the story from where the first book left off, with Christina and Jonathan's pregnancy scare. I appreciated how the story delved into Jonathan's history, which was quite intriguing. However, I found myself confused at times because some chapters didn't have titles. For instance, it would say chapter 50, told from this point of view. Then in some, it wasn't clear whose point of view it was. Nevertheless, the author did clarify that later on. The introduction of more new Infinite characters added depth to the story, and I enjoyed the level of spice, although the plot was what kept me engaged. Overall, I give this book a solid four-star rating. I've been a little more critical with my ratings lately, and this book absolutely earned the four stars. I can't wait for the third book to come out in July!

Get ready for a SPICY ride🥵 with this one.
We pick up right were book 1 ended and I can't say anything else because of spoilers!
I read the book in less that a week, I was completely hooked.
There were laughs, sad moments, lots of romance and spice.
One thing I love about this book: the characters know how to communicate and I appreciate that so much.
Three things that were unexpected about this book: the mount of spice, the mount of POVs, the flashbacks.
The flashbacks into Jonathan's life were very interesting, and we get to learn more about his character and his relationship with Kat.
In this book we get to meet more antagonists and I LOVE the chaotic evil energy they give. It looks like next book we'll get a confrontation and I am looking forwards to it.
The lack of titles in some chapters was confusing because I wasn't sure which character we were following until the last third of the book, but overall I had a good time.

Where do I begin. The roller coaster of feelings I've felt throughout this book!!!

Sit down, buckle your belts because you're in for a ride!🙌🏻

Jonathan.. such a sweetheart! Like omg hello! book boyfriend.. absolutely adore him! I loved seeing him be more vulnerable with Christina! I love the relationship between Jonathan and Christina and all the moments between them!🥰

One of the reasons I love Kat so much Which is even though she is his best friend who he has know for centuries she will still tell him if he is out of line!

Belinda.... АННННН!!! I ain't gonna spoil! But i'm so excited for her!

I love Celeste and Alastair. I loved that we got to see more of Celeste and Alastairs past! And I love Niki.

I fricking love Kirill! We get to see more of him in the book! Which I loved!🥰

Highly, Highly, Highly Recommend.

There is one more book left in the trilogy and I love these characters and their story so much I don't want it to it to end!!😩🖤

As much as I loved book 1 book 2 was just as good if not better. If certainly had an extra dose or two of ssppiicceee 🌶 . I love the back and forth that Christina and Jonathan have, she's finally speaking her mind more and I am here for it.

The author Hannah James did such a good job I hate that I had to yell at her but (spoiler free) SHE BROKE MY HEART completely shattered it. And I was not expecting it. Now don't get me wrong it was a good plot and made for some good twists and turns so I forgave her BUT it hurt.

So many pieces cane together in this book, so many questions answered. I still have a few but so many that it's going to be painful for me to wait for BOOK THREE. I will be impatiently waiting to hear back from His Eternal Majesty, Lord Jonathan Ambrose Langdon, The Undeniable, The Undisputed Son of Delphi, Black Prince of Carpathia 👑

Book 2 of the Night Heir Trilogy series continues the story of Christina and Jonathan. There is suspense, twists, turns, smexy time and continual miscommunication between the two MCs.

I enjoy the world this author has created, and I am still a huge fan of Katalina. She is the perfect best friend. The plot moved smoothly and while I felt the communication skills of an 800-year-old vampire would have been a bit better, it did not detract from the story. Every relationship going through these growing pains.

The villians in this series are just right. They don’t over power the story but you do feel their presence. I cannot wait to see what this author does with the next book in this series.

I. WAS. NOT. READY. Like damn - the spice kicked up a notch or 3! The emotional development/growth for Christina and Jonathan is realistic, well written and engaging. You feel what they feel and want what they want. Their intimacy with each other is explored and not just physically - I love that they aren't just honeymoon the whole time - they argue and face REAL ISSUES outside of the paranormal - There are moments good and bad that'll have you conflicted, laughing, crying and cheering - it's a rollercoaster so strap in - There are unexpected twists and turns, some badassery and you should have a tissue box handy (just saying) - James come in strong with book 2 of the Night Heir Trilogy and I'm beyond excited for book 3 and to see how this ends!!!

✨Arc Review✨

I love that this book has more of Jonathan’s history but also more point of views!!

I kinda wish Cristina would’ve been pregnant it would’ve been interesting to see how her body responded to the pregnancy but also how they grew as a couple to adapt to becoming parents.

Holy shit!! What a cliffhanger!! Book one was amazing and yet this book some how one upped it! And I somehow believe Hannah will yet again outdo herself with book three! I literally can’t wait for the wedding and the clash of the family!! Extremely excited for July to get here!!

Oh Hell, you are in for a treat. The amount of depth into these relationships is so much more than you usually read. They love, they fight, they communicate, which is a huge one. As you read, you start to realize everyone isn't exactly what you think, and there's a lot we and Christina don't know and will learn through the book. There is so much spice, so much fun, and so many emotions. There is also more than meets the eye to our villans and some new ones as well. I've gotta say this is on my list for favorite series right now and I will be rereading.

I need more 🖤. Wow you know a book is good when you can’t put it down and finishing work early so you can read is a sure sign of a great book. I love the way the characters draw you into the story and make it so real I was emotionally part of the book. The spice was perfect hot and heavy but didn’t take away from the plot. Oh I need a Jonathan in my life 🌶️🖤.

I recommend that you read this series if you enjoy vampire spicy romance with a great story line. It will leave you wanting more.

This sequel lives up to its predecessor, even surpassing it, in my opinion. The writing was a superb. There are complex situations that will have you on the edge of your seat.

We continue the epic love story of Christina and Jonathan. They face many more trials and there are many more to come. One of my favorite things about this book is that it deals with complex emotions is a very believable way. These characters have flaws and feelings like real people. There are misunderstandings and hurt feelings. But there is also communication and working through the tough times. Highly recommend!

Just like the first book, this one if full of fluff. The two books could have been one easily. It's mostly focused on the MMC and FMC's bland relationship and equally bland sex life. The snippits of story in the background move incredibly slowly and the book ends on a cliffhanger. I feel like there is so much potential in the storyline so I keep reading, but it just hasn't come to fruition yet. The final book of the trilogy isn't released yet and I will probably have forgotten about the trilogy before it comes out.

I had so many emotions while reading this book. I laughed, cried, almost threw my kindle at the wall and I loved every dark and delicious second of this book. I loved the backstory of Jonny and fell more in love with him in this one. You get a different side of him and there is just more to love. Christina’s character development was chef’s kiss and she really came into her own. I cannot wait for book 3 because that cliffhanger was off the charts!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“Loving you, and trusting you, are the easiest things in the world. When I’m with you, it’s like my soul is home.”

Love this book! I loved getting to know more of Jonathan's history. I'm looking forward to reading book 3. If you love vampires and an interesting plot then you will love this.
There were some chapters that I was confused on whose POV it was because some are not labeled but the majority of them are!

Definitely check TWs and CWs on this one.

It is a very long, very smutty book but one thing I have to highlight for it is that it regularly talks about consent, brings up protection, and has loads of communication.

It does have a plot, but it's more on the backburner to the smut and relationship building between the two main characters (Christina and Jonathan). It has multiple POVs even outside these two characters, which was something I had to adjust to but it helped the story greatly.

Where do I start?! I absolutely loved this book! The character growth is amazing to see and very well written!
The spice 🔥 was brilliant! The plot is great and really keeps you wanting more! I love the dynamic between the FMC and MMC and the sass that the FMC brings to the table. The growth In their relationship and how they get over certain plot twists, it's very well written too!

Overall, a really good second book to this trilogy!

I thought I survived the last book with the cliffhanger and here I am with another cliffhanger 🫠😭 The book was good and I’m still mind blown with how many POVs she does inside her books really.
The only comment I have is that the book could have been a little bit shorter but still i enjoyed it immensely, What are you still waiting? Go read the book 🤯

I was disappointed with this one :( There was like zero story development and waay too much smut. One scene after another is just too much, for me anyways! I also found there was a lot of unnecessary switching of POVs. However, Jonathan and Christina's relationship has sucked me in, and I mean, who doesn't love 800 year old vampires? So, I still look forward to the next book!
