The arc with Billy, Creed, and Tella comes to a close, with some good emotional moments. We then jump pretty immediately into an arc about Phil, Unfeel, which was way more "moving" than I anticipated. Phil, as far as I recall from the previous Loop, was just like a robot kid, but I didn't consider the implications of being... a robot kid. So, here, we learn his brain was put in a mechanical body when he was three, and he gains the Artifact Entruster to work with Unfeel. I guess I'm always kind of a sucker for stories about robots learning what it means to have a soul; cried like a bitch to almost every episode of Kamen Rider Zero-One, for example.

Oh boy we get done with the horrors of military warfare and decide... LET'S GO TO SPACE!
Lots happens in this volume. Billy's Unfair being so different from the previous loop is cool, it's nice to see that Fuuko isn't just preventing the tragedy that comes with negator abilities but reshaping who they are as people. You see that with Sean in this volume as well, changing how Unseen works. It's a very cool way for this series to do a 'power up' without just bumping numbers up higher.
I think the best thing this new loop has done is shed light on characters we barely got to see (pun mildly intended) before. Nico is so cool, I love that he doesn't even have an ability yet he's just smart and passionate. It's great to see him so worked up now compared to the start of the series where he... did he even do anything? Stand around and say "science"? He's an actual character now! And Sean and Gina make such a great duo with half a brain cell total. Oh and this arc is all about Phil, who I completely forgot was a character until now. He's done basically nothing so hurray for him finally getting a story!
This volume wraps up the recruitment of Billy and crew in an emotional bit. It then goes up into space to give Phil a bit more depth as being an unfeeling robot kid who actually has sooooo many feelings that the aliens want to eat him. It's a bit shaky plot wise, but the story here was suprisingly moving as it shows that Phil does have feelings. Actually made me tear up a little when they talked about what makes people sad, particularly the idea of never getting to see someone again.

A bit slow and it focuses to much on a character I really have no strong feelings toward as Phil before was never really mentioned or used much. And I do feel the story went a bit dark with his story and while it is pretty ridiculous it does feel a bit out of place. But still Phil is not a bad character it just not one I really care about.
More of a 4.5 star rating; I read the official English translation on an app called “MANGA Plus by SHUEISHA”. Things wrapped up rather interestingly for Billy, Tella and Creed. We got to see how intense Fuuko’s unluck ability still is, then learning that Billy’s Unfair ability has changed in this Loop compared to the previous Loop. The rest of this volume was focused on Fuuko and some members of the Union going into space to rescue Phil, then the rescue mission itself. It was very intense and emotionally impactful since Phil is only 6 years old, and the circumstances surrounding his life with his mother. The last chapter especially left me tear-eyed, and I’m extremely eager to read the next volume.
