Lisa Suzanne is on a roll! Overtime is the fourth part of the Vegas Aces: The Coach series and it is another solid and utterly addictive book. 

The book picks up right after the third one. Lincoln hates it that he can't tell Jolene the truth about what his father did to hers. He is afraid to tell her, afraid to lose her. But it also keeps festering inside of him. He knows he needs to tell her eventually. 

I really liked Asher's character arc in this book. He is in such a bad place and he stays there. Until he gets kicked in the butt and takes responsibility. I really like that part a lot. 

Ryan Rivera keeps on bashing and hurting Jolene. He keeps on going a step farther. And Ellie, Linc and Jo try their best to counteract it. 
But they soon find out he might not operate on his own. 

Sam's love story was so heartwarming as well. But Lincoln and Jonah's bond just had my entire heart. I could picture them so vividly watching the Minions. 

But things keep on hitting Lincoln and Jolene. They never have a moment of peace. And it's starting to crack them. Crack them maybe even too far apart.

This book is so engaging and this series is so addictive. Another 5 star rating from me, for this fantastic book and series!

As with every book in this series so far, my stomach was in knots the whole time I was reading this. As Lincoln and Jolene get deeper and deeper, those around them start throwing up stumbling blocks - and I wasn't sure I could hate Lincoln's dad any more than I already did, but he is the villain of this story. The fallout from his vendetta has hurt so many people and affected so many lives. I don't foresee things being well with him with this is all over. I am honestly wondering how Lisa is going to fix all of this with minimal damage. Or maybe that's her thing with this one - damage. All going back to Eddie Nash. He's ruined so many lives.

BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT CLIFFHANGER BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE. My heart hurts over how this ended. I just want to snap my fingers and make it all better. I know Lisa won't do us wrong, but I am honestly just wrung out with this drama and angst. But now that all the secrets are exposed, where do we go from here? And how on earth do Linc and Jo come back from not only what has happened, but from what's coming?

Okay, okay, okay. I hate Rivera, too. Oh man, I can't talk about anything but all the people I hate here! haha But just as Lincoln and Jolene get to a place where everything seems to be working out, it all implodes. No amount of Jack Dalton is helping keep my nerves at bay. This installment has been so crazy! The drama with Lincoln's dad is almost worse than any of the drama Michelle and Savannah brought - and that's saying so much!

Book 5 will be the end of this series, and I just can't wait for everything to finally settle. I can't wait for Lincoln and Jolene to have their HEA. The life they should be living is just within their grasp. And again, I'm reminded of how much I hate Eddie Nash. UGH!

Overtime is part four of five in the Vegas Aces: The Coach series, and there is drama, drama, and more drama. This series is so entertaining, and I am fully invested in what happens in Jolene and Lincoln's relationship. Rivera continues to be a terrible person and is determined to ruin Jolene and Lincoln. Lincoln's dad is worse than Rivera and has zero qualms about making life harder for Lincoln. Things seemed to be going okay for Jolene and Lincoln, and they were planning for the future before things started falling apart. Their relationship is made public knowledge, leaving Jolene and Lincoln scrambling to fix things. The fallout is intense, and many lives are impacted. Huge secrets were revealed, and it's unclear if Jolene and Lincoln will survive them. Through all the drama, Sam's side story adds a bit of happiness through all the drama. The cliffhanger ripped my heart out, and I can't wait to see how things end in the final part of this series.

Narration:
Samantha Brentmoor and Aaron Shedlock continue to impress me with their dual-style narration of this story. They have an amazing ability to bring these characters to life in the best way.

Just when you think things have turned the corner for Lincoln and Jolene, things go haywire! Jolene finally is able to extract herself from her toxic work situation, her relationship with Lincoln has progressed enough that she plans to move her and her son in with Lincoln and they are able to stop hiding their relationship. Of course secrets have a way of coming out and destroying their newfound happiness. A scary car accident at the end sets the stage for an explosive final book-can't wait to see the troublemakers get their due and rooting for the coach and reporter to get their HEA.

Secrets Blowing Up!!!

Talk about sh*t hitting the fan!!! OMG!! Things are blowing up left and right and I was front and center for the whole thing. Just how is this author going to put all of these fires out and believe me some of them are fire tornadoes!! I could throw flag after flag for all the penalties in this book!

If you haven’t yet, grab the Coach series because this has been a full-on Super Bowl series.

Things are getting ugly.

Those secrets are not so secret anymore, we have yet another villain in the mix—lots of drama with a touch of suspense. Big emotions in this one, I am trusting the author to tie up all the loose ends in book five. I need the last book to see how this all ends!

Keeping it spoiler free....In book 4 we see the impacts of another characters choices. And is it possible to hate Father Nash more? Ugh! The cliffhanger has me desperate for book 5 and the conclusion of Jolene and Lincoln's story!

Overtime the penultimate book in author Lisa Suzanne’s Vegas Aces: The Coach series is here.
Picking right up from the cliffhanger of Game Play, book four has us jumping straight back into the continuation of Lincoln and Jolene’s story.

Just when you thought the tensions couldn’t get anymore intense from running high and far enough as showcased within book three Game Play, author Lisa proved you wrong with hitting it out of the park from running even more high as can be.
The way it was going it seemed endless for Lincoln and Jolene, even more so with the drama, conflict, secrets and lies thrown in as well.
Whether the tensions were coming from their families given the ongoing feud that just never let up, on top of family members causing issues or from trying to juggle their career with trying to do their jobs. All whilst attempting to not let it interfere in their relationship, of which most of the tension seemed to stem from, given the secrecy of it.
Honestly it seemed like there wasn’t going to be a moment where the intensity would let up, bringing you slowly yet surely to the end of your seat from anticipation as the story progressed forward.
The underlying suspenseful-ness that was growing led you to feel something big was on the horizon.
And boy was it! Lisa definitely brought major explosions from the bombs dropped.

The emotions that stemmed from not only Lincoln and Jolene, but also given all that was going on made for Overtime to be a whirlwind emotionally charged journey.
It had you feeling many different ways for each of them, every which way. Especially when you took into account the highs and lows they both ventured through.
Whether it be when they were at it alone or when they were together, the feels pulled you in alongside Lincoln and Jolene.

Yes, Yes, Yassssssss that ending was all that and more! Having me screaming on the inside not only from excitement but also from having expected it!
Lisa Suzanne definitely bought it back by leaving Overtime the penultimate story from Vegas Aces: The Coach series on a banging cliffhanger!
Safe to say, now even more so than ever, Lisa has me excited with waiting in anticipation for the finale Final Score.

Alright. So what I wanted to happen FINALLY! happened. I mean it wasn't in their terms BUT it happened. Of course there were still lingering secrets and of course the happily ever after didn't last but guess what? I think they can still make it. Their love is too strong to just go their separate ways. The secrets are HUGE! They are. And I get that Jolene will be hurt but that last part with their love will bring them together.

Can we talk about how Lincoln grew some bigger balls and stood up to that disgusting of a father of his. I was so proud. They BOTH stood on what their hearts were telling them and made the right decision. The only wrong move Lincoln made was not telling the truth to Jolene. That was the only wrong move. I'm still Team Bailey when it comes to that whole situation but the Bailey family isn't the best people as well when especially when it comes to Lincoln and Jolene falling back inlove again. That ultimatum her mom gave her? I get it but that's your child. The only parent I REALLY REALLY love is the matriarch of the Nash family. She is just the best. I love her.

Overall I give this book a ⭐⭐⭐⭐.5/5. I really really loved this book a bit more than the others because I loved how they chose each other and themselves when it came to love and their individual and combined happiness. Jolene's son is making us all go "awww" with how he is and his relationship with Lincoln. I loved this book. Again, there was just one wrong move and that's Lincoln not telling the truth before his disgusting father along with other people revealed it. I can't wait to see how this all ends.

This series has me on the edge of my seat. So much angst. So much thrill. I love it.

I think Ms. Suzanne is writing in the wrong genre; Mystery and Thrillers should perhaps be the category instead of Romance, as the saga mysteries surrounding Lincoln and Jolene grow deeper and deeper!

As this portion of the story opens, Linc is trying to extricate himself from his perceived relationship with Sam, while his budding bond with Jonah continues to grow. But hold on! As we know from previous books, when the road is smooth, bumps are ahead! Ryan Rivera, Jolene’s co-worker, is still out for her job and reputation; Lincoln’s father continues to undermine their relationship; Lincoln’s brother’s activities are affecting them, and the families are coming to blows. Even the boys are fending off the barbs when the tainted stories come forth. Lives are unraveling.

There are signs of good in this story, however. Samantha and her ex-husband’s relationship is undergoing a transformation, and we also are getting a peek from Lincoln’s mother, who seems to be a loving person who wants the best for her son. It’s these glimpses that have me wondering about the final chapter in the story and how these threads will tie in—most especially from Lincoln’s mother who misses her best friend. Will she make the bridge to heal the friendship while providing the truth of what caused the damage? Is that the band-aid to begin the healing?

Stay tuned, folks. The cliffhanger is a doozy, and knitting these yarns together will take more than a quick weave in. Pull up a cozy chair, a warm blanket, and your favorite drink. The cold weather may be settling in here in Boston, but the story is still hot!

As with any of the books in Lisa Suzanne's Las Vegas sports romance world, read in order as each of the five books in each series builds on the next and becomes part of the whole picture. Oh, my heart...... Overtime is the biggest emotional rollercoaster I've been on in quite some time. Buckle up & get ready for the twists and turns. Lisa is one of the best at completely shattering us and putting us back together as if we were never really broken. This time is no different.

Lincoln & Jolene are faced with so many mountains to climb, it's hard to see where one ends before the other begins. Just when they think they've conquered one, two more pop up in it's place.

They begin to question whether it's all worth it, when hit after hit comes at them, but ultimately choose "yes", even when their own families seem to play a part in the destruction and stick with one another through it all. Lies are told. Secrets revealed. Old hurts & new. Angst. Turmoil. Love...

The season kicks off and even more hits are taken, but what happens next, I don't think either one saw it coming...

I'm not sure even Ellie, our PR Queen, will be able to get them out of the train wreck about to happen. It's going to be explosive & there will be casualties... Hopefully at the end of the day, the casualties include the "trifecta". I NEVER thought Lisa could make me hate any character(s) more than I hate Savannah, but boy has she ever... Whew!

I'm really hoping that the glue is there to put us all back together in 'Final Score' because despite everything piled against them, Lincoln & Jolene deserve their HEA and so do we! 🖤 I'm not sure how she's going to do it after all this, but I know she will 😉

Overtime
Lincoln and Jolene are finally in a good place. They get to be together with Sam portraying his girlfriend but coming home to her. They both know neither family will be happy that they are together. Maybe if they see how happy they are together they will understand. Jonah adores Lincoln. They laugh about the Minions movie together and Jona wished that Lincoln could be his dad.
Then the jealous co-worker Ryan Rivera leaks photos of Lincoln and Jolene kissing. This puts Jolene and Lincoln in damage control mode with rumors of them being cheaters. This is hard for all involved. The damage does not stop there. Rivera is friends with Jeremy, Jonah’s dad and Jolene’s ex. If they portray her in a bad way in the press, she may not get sole custody. More and more bad articles are released then Jolene is reassigned as a beat reporter and eventually loses her job.
Lincoln finds out that his brother is gambling and betting on the football game. This is a serious problem; the league will not allow this. He pays the debt of his brother but insists that he tell the owner of the franchise and come clean to the NFL.
More and more secrets are revealed and they are destructive. Who is releasing this, where is all this information coming from? Eddie Nash is a mean and vindictive man. Could he be the source? Why would he do this to his son?
Then Jolene and Lincoln get into a car accident and a bombshell is dropped on Jolene Now what? This latest installment “Overtime” is a real page-turner and emotionally tough. WOW, I loved it!

Oh my heart...

Overtime, the 4th installment of the Vegas Aces: The Coach series by Lisa Suzanne will have your heart flip flopping all over the place with the sweetness, intensity and drama as its kicked up a notch. Just a reminder that this book is a continuation of Lincoln and Jolene's story- or saga as I like to call it, so it must be read in order.

I simply cannot with this book. Admittedly, while I've been enjoying their story, I wasn't as deeply invested in Lincoln and Jolene as I have been with some of the other Vegas stories that Lisa has done... well that thought stopped with this book because it simply had it all. All the secrets are starting to trickle out and *most* of them have only brought these two closer together as they tackle it all. And there is SO much trying to rip these two apart- mainly the trifecta of evil that I can't wait for karma *ahem-Lisa* to work some magic on getting them exactly what they deserve.

Lincoln has these moments where he kind of isolates and I hate that he leaves Jolene hanging but his thoughtfulness when it comes to her and Jonah at other times are just swoon worthy. All the while, Jolene was a baddy as she kept taking punch after punch but still standing strong in her fight for a HEA with Lincoln- all while mourning the loss of pretty much everything she worked for.

And of course- just as I was on the edge of my seat and fully captivated- anticipation bubbling for what comes next... it ends! 😭

BUT at least I know that next time there will be a true HEA... bring on Final Score!

This is book 4 in the Vegas Aces - The Coach series.

The hits just keep coming for Jolene and Lincoln. They just can’t catch a break. Especially when Lincoln’s dad is an evil, vindictive person that’s out for Jolene.

Lincoln and Jolene just want to be together. They want to move on from their families hate for each other. They still love each other. But when it comes out they’ve been secretly seeing each other Jolene’s family says she has to choose between them. Jolene chooses Lincoln in the hopes her family will see they are happy. Jolene’s son, Jonah likes Lincoln so much he wishes he was his dad.

Jolene has a coworker, Ryan Rivera, that is determined to uncover all of hers and Lincoln’s secrets. He is set on destroying her because he feels he should have her job. He is working with Lincoln’s dad and publishing negative articles and photos to make Jolene and Lincoln look bad in the public’s eyes. Jolene feels overwhelmed and lonely without her family. She’s finally had enough at her job and the harassment from Rivera and leaves.

When things seem to be looking up some, more secrets are revealed that blindside Jolene. Can they recover from this? Will Lincoln’s dad, Rivera and Jolene’s ex break them? They can’t handle much more. Then the bombshell is dropped at the end of the book.

I can’t wait for the conclusion in book 5. The anticipation keeps building. Lisa Suzanne does not disappoint with the drama and steam in her books.

Jolene and Lincoln continue their fight to be together in Overtime. While obstacles are hitting them from every corner, both Jolene and Lincoln reaffirm their commitment to each other, but when long-buried secrets come to life, will their love be enough to overcome the pain of their past?

“There’s a lot out there trying to force the two us apart, but it’s feelings like these, the ones that are warm in my chest, that tell me if we just link hands, we’ll be stronger together to face them all.”

My heart broke for these two even more in this installment. When their secret relationship is revealed, even more heartbreak is thrown at them. The people who are supposed to love them turn their backs on them and are determined to rip them apart. The lengths that they will go through to cause them pain hurt my heart, but Lincoln’s determination to fight for their love is inspiring.

“We’ve fought our way back to each other, and other people can try to do their worst, but we will always end up right here. This is our future, and I’m ready for it to start.”

Overtime is full of secrets, betrayal, revenge, and a promise to fight for a love that has never died. When the worst comes at them, they have persevered, but the last secret may break them apart forever. I cannot wait for the final installment of this story to find out how this story ends.

All the secrets that Linc and Jolene are keeping continue to be revealed by the forces driving them apart. Will Jolene reveal this new secret to Linc? Will Linc confess the last secret he is keeping from Jolene? Will they find their HEA?
I love a second chance and a bit of an older(age that is for the MMC) romance. Jolene and Linc were torn apart when their fathers had a huge falling out during their playing days as NFL players. You will find several tropes in this series: sports, forbidden, second chance, fake relationship, single mom, and enemies to lovers. I fell in love with this author when I read a different series also set in Las Vegas. Due to the feud, Linc’s dad continuing to interfere, the continued tension from Jolene’s coworker, and her ex you feel the tension that they will be caught any moment which made my heart race because I really want Jolene and Linc to succeed. I loved The Coach Vegas Aces by Lisa Suzanne! If you like these tropes, great characters, spicy scenes, and tension then I have a good feeling you will like this series! Samantha Brentmoor and Aaron Shedlock narrate this series. They both do a fine job of bringing Jolene and Linc to life in your ears with lots of passion and emotion creating a movie in my mind’s eye.

Book 4 of this series and I kid you not, things are Heating Up!!!
The secret of Lincoln and Jolene's relationship are becoming harder to hide,, their love is just growing deeper and the inevitable time has come where they want and need to bring things out into the open.

Nothing in life always goes to plan, and Lincoln and Jolene are definitely being put through the wringer with this one, they are being pulled and challenged from all directions.
Bring the evil 3 stooges (Rivera, Jeremy and Eddie) into the mix, who are going to let nothing stop them from destroying not only their relationship but their lives too!!
OMG THE EMOTIONS have poured out of me from beginning to end with this book. You name it, I've felt it!! Love, passion, hope, Lincoln and Jolene just make my heart bloom with love for them they deserve their happy ending. Then we have Hate, utter dislike, anger. Emotions i have never felt so strongly about for the gruesome threesome.
So much happens in this book, the twists just had me gipping the edge of my seat harder and harder!!
I thought at this point things would be coming clearer, but oh no!!! I can't wait, REALLY CAN'T WAIT for the next book!!!
Just when you think it can't get better this author throws you right of the cliff and I freaking Love every minute of it!!!!!!

How much more can we put this poor couple through?? They have endured so much to get to where they are now and they deserve their HEA not taking more hits.

Lincoln and Jolene are the Romeo and Juliet couple. Their families hate each other over decades long feuds that shouldn’t affect their children but it does. They are supposed to be mortal enemies but instead they found love together. But all the lies and secrets are building up and it may just crumble their entire world. They start to wonder is it even worth it anymore.

My heart breaks for the both of them but mostly Jolene. She took the hardest hit in this book and as much as Lincoln tries to be supportive he could’ve done better. Yes he took hits to but for Jolene it was worse. She was slandered, emotionally abused and Rivera is just a piece of work that needs to get what’s coming for him. But this couple has been harassed, threatened, blackmailed and betrayed by their own families. All the tension and drama is definitely building up to something explosive in the final book. I know it’s going to epic and hopefully doesn’t end any tragic way as Romeo and Juliet. But I’m really curious what Jolene is going to do with the information she has now. That cliffhanger was a perfect ending. I got scared after one chapter thinking Lisa was going to end it there but I’m glad she continued for a few more before ending it!

This story is too juicy I literally can't!

The moment I saw this come up on my queue I jumped on it because these cliffhangers are insanity! Things are continuing to crumble around Linc and Jo and it is putting their relationship to the test. Does love really conquer all? Is their love strong enough to survive blow after blow and can they have enough faith to choose the other every single time?

I loved seeing Jo recognizing even more of her self-worth as things in her career are starting to crumble around her. And being the best mom she can be by keeping on and making sure she can be what her son needs. I love seeing Linc doing the right thing in regards to Asher and his father, standing up to his father even though that man is making his life a living hell - his priority is choosing Jo 👏 But when it's too little too late and Jo finds out his darkest secret from someone else, the truest test yet crash lands at their feet and we have one more book to see how it plays out!

THESE CLIFFHANGERS ARE JUST MEAN AT THIS POINT! I can't believe I have to wait 2 MORE WEEKS?! It can't come soon enough.

Samantha and Aaron are so talented and bring an intensity to the heightened emotions happening in the story. Their performances are top notch and I cannot wait for them to finish out the series strong!

5 Will They Make It Through It All Stars!!

The situation with Lincoln and Jolene is intensifying the closer we get to the conclusion of this series. This book brings out several secrets, painful memories and machinations of people that are supposed to support and love you not tear you down.

The heat between the Head Coach and Reporter is sizzling and it seems to help them forget at least for a little while all the hurdles they have in front of them. I love Linc’s connection with Jonah and this little boy feels so many things and my heart broke for him a little bit at certain times thanks again to people talking about things they don’t have all the facts on.

Jolene’s friendship with Sam takes on a new aspect as Jolene makes some much needed changes…but will these changes help or hinder not only her, but Sam and Lincoln as well?? I can honestly say the bomb that’s dropped at the end of this book could be catastrophic everything and everyone!

Adding to the intensity of this book is the marvelous narration by Samantha Brentmoor and Aaron Shedlock. Their ability to bring all the characters to life was wonderful. The way they inhabit each character with their distinct characteristics and at times high tension lets me lose myself in a superb listening experience.

Book four of the Vegas Aces coaches series and the problems in Lincoln's and Jolene's relationship keep coming. They come clean about their relationship and Jolene's family makes her choose them or Lincoln. She choose Lincoln. Lincoln and Jonah start to become closer, with Jonah even wishing the Lincoln would be his dad.
Thankfully Lincoln's brother Asher does the right thing and comes clean about his gambling but his is suspended from playing which causes problems for the team. Then the QB gets hurt and it really doesn't look good for the team and Lincoln is stressed.
Pictures of Lincoln and Jolene get leaked. Because of this Jolene is taken off the job as the Aces' corespondent. She is given his bosses job while he is still in Florida. She decides that this is not want she really wants to do and quits.
Jolene and Lincoln find out that Lincoln's dad is working with Rivera and they are the ones that leaked the pictures. Jolene has had enough and breaks it off with Lincoln. She gets in her can to leave and Lincoln jumps in. She is mad and driving to fast. They get in an accident and are taken to the hospital. While at the hospital Jolene gets news that will change their lives.

WOW! This one is full of Emotions, heart, tensions, morality and heat that continues throughout and I can’t get enough!

Well, well, well, things just keep continuing to heat up!

With so much stacked against Jolene and Lincoln and everything starting to hit the public this one was emotional, full of heart, tensions, desire and more!

Jolene continues to fight for her dream job and against the accusations women are placed under with constant scrutiny being a sports reporter in a man’s world… but with continued harassment, issues with a coworker and just cruelty things just are becoming more and more complicated.

While Lincoln is forced to deal with several situations forcing him to challenge his ethics and morals against family and the game. With so much happening and things falling apart, is their relationship strong enough to continue?

There continues to be that sliver of hope and their passion, connection and overall love for each other that continues to drive them together no matter how many situations, people and things keep trying to pull them apart.

This one was a difficult but really really good read! And I can’t wait for the final book in the series to see how it all ends!

Told in first person dual POV, this installment includes second-chance, forced-proximity, forbidden romance, and fake relationship tropes. The story follows the relationship between the new Vegas Aces head coach Lincoln Nash and Jolene Bailey, the sports correspondent assigned to follow the team.

This is the book where EVERYTHING hits the fan! Tensions rise, secrets are exposed, and just when you think Linc and Jolene might find a way through the mess to finally be together, things only get worse. New obstacles get in the way, shocking news comes to light, and there are even more secrets—some revealed and some kept.

I loved this fourth installment of Jolene and Lincoln’s story even better than the third. It’s my favorite so far. And that cliffhanger at the end?! The drama, the pain, the angst, the suspense… YES PLEASE! I’m here for ALL of it! I’m not sure how any of this could possibly end well, but I know Lisa Suzanne is a master at resolving these crazy storylines. I can’t wait to read part five and see how it all works out!

Overtime is book four in the Vegas Aces: The Coach Book series by Lisa Suzanne. As this series progresses I become more and more invested in these characters. The first was just an interesting new read, but now I can’t get enough!

Lincoln and Jolene have finally started to put their family feud behind them and create a new path for themselves, but Lincoln is still holding on to one lie, and it’s a big one. So when Jolene figures it out will her love for Lincoln be enough to overcome this secret or will this finally be the end for Lincoln and Jolene?

I loved it! This series just continues to get better. I knew this epic lie would eventually come out, but the build up and the way it came out was explosive! Not to mention the fallout of all of this, that cliffhanger left me so ready for the next book!

Once again Samantha Brentmoor and Aaron Shedlock are crushing it on the narration! They are both phenomenal as Lincoln and Jolene, but they also do a great job bringing the supporting characters to life. Aaron is able to make me loathe Lincoln’s father, but then turn around and love Lincoln and that is why I love audiobooks so much. Samantha is a queen, she performs the emotional scenes so well that I can feel the turmoil the heroine is enduring. 10/10 for the audio!
