Bit of a daft story, the king offers all his gold to anyone who can stop princess Alice from crying. A prince comes along, tells them to feed her and hold her and she stops crying. The king gives him all his gold and then the king and queen cry because they have no gold 🙄

A mediocre book that is visually appealing. It will come across humorous for the young age of 5 - 7.
There is not much of a moral to the story, it just tells a story to tell a story with no inventive or creative way of actually telling the story.

I would not consider using this book in a lesson or guided reading session.
