Perfectly written and couldn't figure out what's real and what's fiction! Highly recommend! And wishing that Mr. Manjula will keep writing awesome books like this.
Manjula Senaratne has done his homework well before writing this novel. I wonder what impact this novel could have on the world if it were written in English.
In the book’s preface, there’s a note that says: “I know that after reading this book, which is presented as a novel based on true information, readers may find it hard to tell what’s real and what’s fiction.”
And honestly, that’s 100% true.
Even after I finished the book—which looks at things from a really unusual angle—I kept thinking, “Did this actually happen like this?” and “What if it really happened this way…?” It left me with so many thoughts and questions.
