2.5 STARS - ROUNDED UP

All the stories are clean with a few kisses, editing problems aplenty, and it is a simple story with a few hurdles.

Story starts out as 4 college women get together after 15 years of ending college. They meet in Colorado in a cabin. The first story is about the 4 women getting caught up and two men come into play.

The 2nd story is about Scarlett and Luke. She's a very successful NY Lawyer and he used to work in NY, but now runs a tow company where he rescues the h. I did like this story, but the h was wishy washy on her personal life - got old. She does a 180 on her decision to change her life, very out of character.

3rd story was about Hannah and Oliver. I loved Hannah and disliked Oliver with a passion. Oh, my goodness, he was awful. He wouldn't explain what he was feeling and left Hannah confused. He too did a 180 on his marriage. He was staying in the garage, but in a conversation with a friend said he was staying in the guest room. Story was the most frustrating.

4th story was with Marcy and Hudson. This was the most emotional and hardest to get through. Marcy is battling cancer, and her journey may be triggers for some. Hudson was amazing during her treatment process. But he left her on Christmas because he couldn't handle it. WHAT? This isn't the man who was portrayed during the story.

Last is Madison and Asher. I thought it was so odd that Asher called her ex for info on what Madison planned for their wedding. Why would she want to be reminded of a wedding that didn't happen. Madison's sister is brought into the storyline and then just dropped.

Ending was good until it wasn't. Part of the ending involved two couples, and we didn't get to experience it. This cried for an epilogue!!!

Cheating for a secondary person - off page. No cliffhanger but not a satisfying ending, bumpy roads for everyone to reach HEA, only kisses. (ljb)

Heart warming

The first chapter was a little hard to follow as you come into a multi party conversation, but soon you get the individuals figured out and enjoy their friendship and life.

Unimpressed

The first "book" is 4 women in a cabin as a reunion? Hard to follow and uninspiring dialog. Couldn't face any more than that.

Great book series

Entertaining yet realistic vignette book series about college friends facing the best and worst of times - together. Hallmark-esque. Refreshing.

This audio was just ok. It didn’t really catch my attention. Glad it was a quick listen.

Digital audio narration made this book almost impossible to get through. I missed a significant portion of the plot because of mispronounced words and a lack of inflection.
