Excellent book for what it is; as someone looking to learn more about this space, I thought Cagan's book was an outstanding overview of the Stock Market, touching on history, different types of markets, and different trading strategies. I give it 5 stars because just as the title says, it’s a guide to the market, and it does it well. Breaking down the basics, history, and lore in a concise and palatable way. I hope the personal finance version reads the same. I’d recommend to someone interested in learning about the market in layman’s terms
