Until We Meet Again

Rate this book
You don’t know what you have until it’s gone .

Whoever said that was full of shit. I knew what I had. I just never thought I’d lose him. My best friend. My husband. My soul mate .
He was an IT guy, one of the best which was why he was requested for a consultation overseas. He was supposed to be gone for four weeks. That’s it. Not forever.
What the hell do I do now? As much as I want to crawl into a hole and join him, I can’t because of the baby boy he left behind cooking in my belly.
When the baby comes, I feel like I’m going crazy! All he does is cry, poop and scream. Apparently, loud enough for the neighbours to come knocking. They decide that it’s their job to make sure I don’t lose myself to my grief.
With my mother in-law’s blessing, the guy’s and I grow close. It’s unconventional but it works. They make me a better person and they’re so good with little Charlie.
What the hell do I do when my little boy asks if Daddy Dee can push him on the swing next? Or when he asks me why Daddy Dee couldn’t come home with us?

Miracles happen when you least expect them.

5 🌟 for sure. I loved this story. I definelty cried more then once. I laughed and enjoyed the whole think. I was so happy when Declan was alive and sad on what he had gone through like I said up and downs in this story but so glad that everyone worked together and helped him out. The author did and amazing job writing this. You definitely felt the emotions. I loved that at the end when her and Declan were going to renew their vows that they secretly included the guys. I loved her shock but acceptance same as their parents. Which also beings me to where were the guys' family. We never heard not a peep about them. Would of they been happy for them. Wow they be involved with the kids etc. But I loved the 10 year jump too so we got just a bit if them in the future I love books like that. I love this story and hope I can find another like this.

good story

That was one crazy journey for everyone involved. That woman was put through it and thankfully she had help because I don’t know what I’d do in her situation.

This book is just so good. I can’t even begin to describe it. I don’t want to post any spoilers. But I will say this. It’s a true love story indeed. So many tears I had throughout this book. Lots of laughs too. It will give you a roller coaster of different emotions. But just incredible. The author did justice to this book. I will definitely read more from her.

ARC READER REVIEW

It's not my usual trope, but it's a fantastic read. As a parent, a lot of the scenes were on point. I really enjoyed the storyline, and make sure you have the tissues close by. Some scenes were heart-wrenching and made me feel like my heart was stomped all over.

Make sure to read the trigger warnings before jumping into this book. Some scenes can definitely be triggering to some readers.

Amazing first book by this author and cannot wait to see what comes out next.

A Twist You Won’t See Coming

WOW 😮 This story just breaks your heart, but it’s got a really good original storyline too. It’s got a twist, a little over halfway through the book that I totally did NOT see coming 🤯 Definitely not something you see everyday, and not what I thought was happening…AT ALL 🫣 The roller coaster of emotion this book takes you on is a wild one. The book covers tough subjects in a realistic & reasonable timeline without being overly descriptive & drawing things out, yet explaining things reasonably & authentically. There is heartache, pain, sadness, depression, and despair that will break your heart. That’s only a part of what this book gives you. It’s balanced beautifully with humor, laughter, genuine friendship, family, unconditional love & support, but you also get just the right amount of spice, chemistry, passion & romance. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this debut why choose novel was to me. Don’t hesitate to give it a try if you’re a fan of RH/WC stories, or really need a book to help release some emotions ❤️

This was an amazing read!!!
I truly enjoyed reading this book.
I cried, laughed and fell in love with these characters.
My baby Lucinda went through hell and back after receiving the news about her husband. On top of that she had just given birth to her baby Charlie. With her juggling being a single mother and a widow she was slowly spiraling.
Ryan, Eli and Caleb were her rocks throughout her spiraling moment. The author truly took me by surprise 😮 with that plot twist nearing the end.
I was shellshocked!!!
I honestly did not see that coming!!!
This book truly represented post-partum depression how it really is. Every woman has different experiences after they give birth but Lucinda had to experience that tenfold due to the tragic news.
Truly worth the read and I can’t wait to see what the author has in store for us next‼️

Wow

The reality is that this is a 3 star book with a 5 star story. I laughed, I cried, so much love. That toddler was a menace, but his scenes brought an amazing levity and lots of laughs. While there were a lot of editing errors, the main issue with the book as a whole is that most of the book is spent telling us rather than showing us. We miss most of the parts where they slowly fall in the first year after her husband's death. There's lots of skipping time and summaries, rather than showing us what's happening. With editing and some deeper storytelling, this would be an amazing book.

Good Book

Until We Meet Again follows Lu in the aftermath of her husband’s death as she find herself not only grieving for her loss but adjusting to being a new mother. I really like this book, it had me going the full whack of emotions from crying to laughing and even crying and laughing at the same time. The loved the characters, and the support they gave each other was heartwarming, especially when the guys stepped up to help out Lu even though they hadn’t know her for very long. Overall, an emotional read but one I would recommend.

So this had a good storyline but the book was written like an outline. I feel like the author didn’t know how to fill in big gaps of time and just then put in 5 months later, 3 weeks later, etc. There was so much missing like some backstory for the 3 neighbors, why is the one guy a kleptomaniac, does she work, why doesn’t she have friends or other people in her life?? Honestly this book is more 2.5 star situation. Definitely needs a little work and it really could be so much better.

Wowzer

This story was wonderfully written and brought all my emotions front and center. First I had a smile, then shock, anger and tears. Next I’m back to smiling again- wow the emotions in this story were something else. There is a twist further in the story and here we go again on the emotional roller coaster. Fantastic book and does HEA.

Not sure I can rate this although I did finish it. The story didn’t real me in with the emotional connection. There were lots of time jumps and it was a unique story I found myself skimming and skipping pages just to get to the end.
I’m also struggling to find something that catches my attention so take this with a grain of salt.

This book was… interesting to say the least. I finished it in one sitting but I did skim read quite a bit of it.

Originally I wasn’t going to write a review for this book until I got to the plot twist.

- RH (twins + Ryan + Dec)
- Major plot twist
- Dec never died
- He comes back when Charlie is 2 years old and joins the harem.
- There were lots of grammatical mistakes in this book and I skim read a lot of it
- The plot twist honestly didn’t make sense and it kind of felt like I was reading a Wattpad book.
- I did enjoy the kleptomaniac H’s side of things

I wouldn’t read this again - 2.5 stars!
