A surprising short story! I loved this and it made me think about some personal experiences. I once had a very dear friend end stop by on his way out of life to visit me for a moment. There was never a bit of doubt that he was there, had touched my shoulder, quietly said a few words and continued on his way.
But this little tale made me wonder. I have never enjoyed being alone in the deepest darkest part of night. If I were heading off to bed, and I heard this story, I bet you I’d be awake all the night waiting for just what happened. Nothing evil, nothing awful but certainly not of this world or this life.

This short story necessarily moves fast. The protagonist's speedy acceptance of what is happening to her seems forced, but that is no doubt due to the time limitations on the story.
short and kinda a nothing. Super inoffensive. Listening to these small stories to see what people can do in 5 mins is my goal and so far these are all just meh
